Portable Aircon Polo EX12. 3500 watts cooling.
Bought in Nov/Dec 2017. Harvey Norman, Caringbah.
We bought this portable aircon while living in a rental house that was really uninsulated, fibro, and had lots of gaps around doors and windows and in floors.
It really helped to take the edge off on hot days. If we closed the lounge sliding door it cooled the space, which was quite large, quite well. But we often left the door open in order to try to let some of the cool air go through to the other areas. (Small single storey house).

Read moreuld have bought the next up size. And were glad we didn't buy the smaller unit available. This one was enough for the main area without a doubt. One at either end of the house would have been good. We since moved to a 2 storey townhouse and the upstairs is hot. We have used it there as well a lot. I would recommend this mostly if you have one medium/large room to cool, even a large living space where you can close the doors off from other areas if needed. It does a great job in a large/medium bedroom/study.Purchased in November 2017 at Harvey Norman for $800.00.
