Quote cheap to get you into store
I phoned for price and availability, they quoted about $70, but were unsure if parts were in stock.
They asked me to come into the store and look at the manual to confirm parts.
When in store they advised I needed an extra part and the cost was $115.
Seems like an old sales technique to me!

My Hurclon 1.5 hp pool pump needed replacing so I ended up on their website. I wanted another pump the same as mine and I searched the site for a 1.5 hp pump and found their retrofit for Hurclon pump. However, when I received the pump it turned out to be a retro fit, Davey 2.2hp pump. There was no mention of Davey in that section of the website. Had I known I was purchasing a Davey pump I would have bought it elsewhere for $50 less. I emailed them asking for the $50 difference or store credit, but they refused. I have previously purchased products from them, with no issues. Getting customers is the toughest job in retail, when you have one maintaining them should be a priority. Pool and Spa Warehouse failed. Never again.
Tried Hard to resolve a problem but just fell short
UPDATE: Re below review, after many agonising emails they did eventually get back to me with an offer to resolve the problem, which I felt was inadequate. I'm grateful they at least tried. Both parties admitted being at fault but ZODIAC took ownership and offered the more acceptable resolution as they erred first.
So 10 out of 10 for ZODIAC. 7 out of 10 for Pool and Spa Warehouse.
Purchase from anyone other than Pool and Spa Warehouse ! Been emailing backwards and forwards between the 2 companies and they've offered to give me a DEMO machin...e. After carefully researching and relying on PRODUCT REVIEWERS I purchased the CX35. Initially worked brilliantly - didn't miss a spot, cleaned the water line perfectly. Within the 1st year though it started leaving 1/3 of the pool floor uncleaned and failed at the water line, performing back flips as it reached the surface. After much effort sent it to Zodiac for repairs. Many more phone calls and emails to check on status of repairs. Finally told machine was tested and was fine, apparently high water alkalinity affects operation (my pool guy tested the water repeatedly and disproved this theory) and my machine was on its way back home. I received a package and discovered they'd sent me a water pump in error. Several more calls and emails until they admitted sending my machine to North Rockhampton QLD. I live in Concord NSW! Recipient repackaged it and sent it back to me. My cleaner has been bounced around the Eastern seaboard and been returned badly marked, scratched and broken with a badly fitting casing. Purchased from Pool and Spar Warehouse (who so far have tried to assist). Flurida Zodiac been disappointing to date. Giving them both some time to make amends by replacing the machine with a new unit - least they can do for stuffing me around.
- Pool and Spa Warehouse
After buying a Zodiac cell from Pool and spa warehouse, it stooped working under the warranty period. I contacted them, and they said they have lodged a claim with Zodiac but no further details were given. Never heard from them again.

Product never worked
Purchased a pool filter cartridge from their eBay site. Could never get to work correctly. Seller first blamed my filter and then my pump. I explained my old cartridge and a new one I purchased after I gave up on theirs worked fine, they stopped replying to emails. Would not recommend.

Purchase of pressure pump
I purchased a pressure pump and when it arrived it was nothing like the photos on the web and a completely different product number. When I called, the excuse was the product supplier (USA) gave incorrect details for uploading on their web. That picture was very different to what I received and I believed it was the latest model I had ordered and what I received was the old model (there were some changes) Still don't know the answer. Staff were good and offered refund etc. I had waited some time because of holidays, needed the pump and just did...n't want to go through the process of returning arguing etc so just kept. They still haven't changed the photo on the web. I suspect that consumer laws require correct advertising and they have breached the laws. They have an obligation to be factual. How many more mistakes are there on the web?
Poor Customer Service: Very Bad
Very poor customer service at desk this afternoon 4:30pm. Two guys who were unfriendly with poor attitude. One of them insisted transaction did not work because not enough funds, when there were enough. Second time transaction worked. Tone of voice was cold, rough. Unwilling at first to split transaction; cash and card. No smile. Would have walked out, only they were the cheapest for what I got; chlorinator. Didn't like the place. Will be going elsewhere or price matching somewhere else in future. If you can't smile and be friendly you should be working in a factory. "Don't care about you" attitude.
Onga Hammerhead Pool Cleaner
I am after a pool cleaner and the Onga Hammerhead has positive reviews. Can anyone tell me which online store is the most competitive. Pool and Spa Warehouse have it advertised for $290 and Dadspoolshop.com.au have the Mako for $320 delivered. Pool & Spa Warehouse also have the BullShark for $390.
Product arrived as ordered but over 2 weeks late. Customer service is non-existent, to the point of lies and complete rudeness. I will never ever buy from them again. Ever.
I operate a pool maintenance service for top pools in Noosa from Noosa Sound with $5m homes to
small pensioners in the suburbs who need good reliable pool service.
I ordered a part from Pool n spa warehouse. I was surprised it would take as long on the delivery as they quoted but their photo of their product looked good so I ordered the part. After not receiving the goods 4 days after they day they quoted I sent an email enquiring why I had not received the part. They apologised and said the order was missed and would send it immediatel...
Slow, slow, slow
Ordered online twice in the last month. Both times they displayed 'Same day dispatch' on the item. The confirmation e-mail says 'You will be provided with parcel tracking information shortly' After several days no tracking info on either occasion. It appears they only get around to dispatching after you hassle them. Then it takes about a week after they dispatch for items to arrive. I would not order from them again.
Questions & Answers
I have a cx20 pool cleaner it has been great for over a year. I bought it second hand from a friend. I have had it come up with an error flashing with an exclamation mark on the screen. I have had a major medical thing happen so I have no money and can't afford to buy a new one, or pay someone to look at it for me. Can you please help me I am desperate. Maybe what could be the issues. I have pulled it apart as basket out and unscrewed the filter and cleaned that put it back together. It still isn't working. Could you please help me. I purchased a Kreepy and had to send it back as it wasn’t cleaning effectively or going up the walls. For me it wasn’t getting enough suction from the pump. I ended up getting a robotic one and it works like a dream.
