Joondalup store has awesome knowledge and service
The shop staff and owner are very friendly, professional, easy to talk to and understand and extremely informative, they helped me with all my pool needs, including some repairs, new equipment and they even helped me service the pool by their trustworthy pool technicians whom where very polite and ontime guys, they took pride in their job always smiling, they gave me heaps of excellent and reliable advice, was very reasonable pricing overall, with some good quality equipment and chemicals!
I felt like i was in the right hands and in the end my pool has never looked so crystal clear ! Definitely using these guys regularly!!!
I would highly recommend Poolwerx Joondalup
$10 per container deposit and expensive!
Today while in the process of purchasing chlorine and acid the girl at the Ringwood outlet informed me of an additional $10 container deposit. I asked when was this introduced. She replied for ever! She said well you’re lucky if you were not charged in the past. Maybe I was and not informed. I rinse my containers and place them in the recycle bin. Poolwerx is trapping you into returning to them for repurchase on the basis they have $10 or more $ of your money. Entrapment using the guise of caring for the environment. Well you’ve lost this customer for good along with my neighbour who advised me not to buy from you stating that Poolwerx is a rip off.
Absolutely terrible service
My chlorinator stopped working and Poolwerx came to fix the problem. They made a service call and fixed it.
Three months and 18 days later the chlorinator stopped working again.
I rang them to get them to come out again and Karin (from Poolwerx) emailed me and stated that it is "outside the 3 month warranty period" and thus it will be charged as a standard "call out fee and time + materials". Nowhere on their website or on their service report is it stated there is a "3 month warranty".
Despite emailing my disappointment that I would be cha...rged completely for something that was meant to be fixed 3 months earlier, I was also met with a very poor response from Karin. I find this absolutely ridiculous. Do they have no pride in their service or their work?? I would not recommend them at all.
They don’t reply.
Absolutely disgusted, they don’t answer calls or emails, tried several times and nothing, highly not recommended, very disappointed, they shouldn’t be in business if they can’t answer their phone or emails..
Hard to trust them, local guy though is great,
I get a monthly "Service MINI" which the guy who does it is great, friendly etc. He is awesome... The company seems shady
I get invoices for chemicals which do not align to any products they sell, and its impossible to match these up to anything else except some marketing words.
0.3 Ltr Vitalyse Crystal Clear $18.59 (=$62/L) based on my math
2 Ea Premium Pool Salt 20KG $33.00
2 Ea Vitalyse Sunblock Tabs $27.00
Now, salt is salt, at least that one product line makes sense, but you sell the same stuff on your site for heaps cheaper!...I am ignoring the fact its normally around $7 per 20kg. Now you sell it for $11.95 why am i being charged another 30% premium? https://www.poolwerx.com.au/chemical-order/ Pool Salt (20KG) $11.95 And just to reiterate, the guy who does it is awesome, wish i could go direct via him.
Disgusting service, walked out after ten minutes of being ignored
Arrived, wanted a water check and potentially buying a pool cleaner. Man was serving a couple who were just asking questions. Did not register our presence at all the entire time, no hello, be with you in a minute, nothing. Stood around the store waiting as he kept trying to sell a pool cleaner to this couple. Ended up walking out, buying nothing, after ten minutes of no communication at all, even when they were standing right next to us and I ended up sitting down on a trolley. Didn't even try to talk to us as we left. He was just hell bent on trying to make this sale. Won't be going back- so rude.
Stay away from Poolwerx
We were force to use use Poolwerx to service our pool.
Poolwerx pool chemicals are at-least 100% more expensive then elsewhere. quick search found the attached, Real-estate agents/Rental manager get a kick back from the total monthly expenditure that Poolwerx performs for tenants/landlord managed by them.
Another note, Read down below, Poolwerx provides the standard email address to contact, however no one is receiving any reply/followup. Stay clear, you've been warned.
Hired to do a casual pool clean and had a bad experience.
1. Asked for a deposit upfront for a casual pool clean, and gave me the wrong bank account details for the transfer, to which I sent money to.
2. Said it would either be a casual pool clean or a green pool clean, but then blatantly tried to charge me for both.
3. Apparently unnecessary chemical use - both visits used a clarifier, despite the report saying the pool was clear already, using large amounts of acid on the first visit, then alkalineser on the second, etc. All without any atte...
Good but incredibly expensive: debris clean over 600 $
After removing the cover this year, there was a lot of debris swimming around, but thank God not a real green pool. Had Poolwerx coming in who used chlorine, lanthanum and stabilizer. They came back 4 times in total over about a week and now the pool is sparkling bright again. However, at over 600 $ it burnt a hole in my wallet. Wonder if this is a normal price for cleaning debris, algae.
Will next time try it myself.
I was quoted $45 service fee. The pool had been serviced by another company a week before. I made the mistake of giving them my credit card and was charged $170. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Poolwerx supply of equipment for Plungie Pool
Poolwerx have a national agreement with The Plunge Pool Company (Plungie). Plungie supply prefab concrete pools that are craned into position. Plungie has an option for the supply and install of pump, filter and chlorinator equipment through an agreement with Poolwerx. I took up this option so that I did not have to deal with multiple suppliers.
Equipment due immediately following pool delivery took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Throughout I was fed a stream of often conflicting information, excuses, promises and buck-passing.
I believe Pool...werx Corporate and Toll Transport caused the problems and were slow to communicate, take ownership of the problem and take action. I have no issue with the local installer who could do nothing till the equipment was delivered to him. Plungie for a time pushed responsibility for communication with Poolwerx Corporate to me; I had to make it clear that they were responsible for dealing with their sub-contractor (Poolwerx). In the end a complaint was lodged with Fair Trading NSW.
Amazing service from Leigh Poolwerx Cranbourne
We were in the market for a new heat pump for our pool, not knowing a great deal about them did some basic research and then contacted a few strides for quotes. Enter Leigh from Poolwerx Cranbourne, purely professional, respectful, and helpful at all times. He helped us navigate through the whole process giving us options and alternatives to consider. Anything he may have not been 100% certain of he found out and always got back to us promptly. Result is we have a professionally installed pool heater by Leigh, which exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.
Poolwerx Rockingham helps us maintain our Pool and Spa on a monthly basis. Great Service. Would recommend them to anyone. On the spot testing and friendly service just down the road.
Scott from Poolwerx Sherwood/Yeronga has been servicing my pool for 15 years. I have ALWAYS found Scott and his staff to be price competitive and thorough in the work they have done.
I have nothing but the highest praise for Scott and his wife Kerrie and I have recommended them to the new owner of my property.
Thankyou Scott and Kerrie for the years of great work you have done.
Avoid at all cost
This review is on Poolwerk Ringwood and it’s owner.
A year ago our controller was faulty and on their recommendation we installed a new controller instead of repairing it as we will have a longer warranty, even though it was cheaper to repair it.
Less then a year later, the controller has broken down again.
We called to get Poolwerk check it and David, the owner did it promptly however he told us that we will be out of pocket for the labour and call out fee.
All our experiences with warranty claims has been with no out of pocket for us as consu...
Questions & Answers
Has any of the unhappy people using Poolwerx got satisfaction from them. It seems that it is a standard message sent out from the head office and that is about it.
No we have had to go to Fair trading and it is still not resolved
Thanks Sharon good luck with you resolving your problem. Kathy
No answer, definitely a standard response to try to save face via a public setting. In fact, the franchisee said in one of her emails to go ahead and send to head office, obviously knowing they would not intervene.
