Perfect if you like eating teflon

Second one I've bought, teflon starts coming off after 3 months, would be 5 stars if this didn't happen. Show details

Lack of response

The locking Mechanism on the basket fell apart. I have been trying to get info on if a replacement can be purchased. What does one have to do to get a response ? This is the penalty one suffers when not purchasing a known brand. This was received as a gift as I would not purchase this brand. Show details

It wouldn't stay switched on due to wobbly 'kettle' plug

This lasted one day, as the separate lead didn't connect properly to the fryer. Even when pushed in firmly, the 'kettle' three-pin plug was so loose that even if you managed to get it to stay switched on, if you then touched the fryer even lightly, it switched itself off.

Returned to Big Wvfor refund and upgrade to next most expensive model, a Russell Hobbs which has been great so far (1 week). Show details

Design faults

Cooks nicely. Power plug poor quality and easily loosens from the machine, very annoying. Screen with time and temperature almost impossible to see, very feint. Not possible to check before purchase. Poor quality basket release mechanism I can't see it lasting very long. Compact device fits small kitchen well but I'll pay attention to these issues when buying next one Show details

Cooked well but fell apart and broke

I was happy with the way it cooked but from the first the basket release control button and mechanism was low quality plastic and poor construction.

I had to operate it very gently but even so after 10 weeks the release button collapsed and the associated mechanism was inoperable.

I had cooked food inside and in trying to unjam the basket the entire handle snapped off.

I then had to force the basket out which took a lot of effort and destroyed the machine.

It doesn’t make sense to add the poor quality basket handle mechanism to an otherwise well constructed and stylish appliance.

Big W provided refunded when I returned it in store without dramas. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this air fryer at all. Show details

3 years and still cooking!

I bought this Prinetti air fryer from Big W back in mid 2019 on recommendation from a friend. I was just browsing some of the newest models and read the reviews on here. Having used this pretty much daily before and throughout the lockdowns it's turned out to be an absolute lifesaver given we were stuck in an apartment without an oven!

Even this year after moving to a place which has an oven, I find it's more convenient and cooks yummy chicken wings. I have made sure to keep the tray and inner heating element clean which is a bit tedious but likely why it's lasted longer than expected. I did also drop it and cracked the display about a year ago but it still works fine. Thanks Prinetti. Show details

No longer working after a single day

Was great for...3 hours and 2 cooked items (Yep, it lasted 3 entire hours), after that it went on strike and no longer wants to works. Can continue to press the buttons and choose settings but no matter what it won't whirl up when I try to turn it on.

So yeah, $39.5 for a single use it seems, what a bargain. Sarcasm aside I've genuinely not been more let down by any product and quite frankly can't believe how poor quality this item is, I'm beyond disappointed, as now I have go through an arduous refund process and be out of pocket for what's now nothing.

Thanks Prinetti, I'll be staying well clear from any and all of your products from now on and I would STRONGLY encourage others to do the same. Show details

Beyond disappointed

Didn't even light up as per instructions.
I was so excited to use for the first time but its faulty.

Don't waste your money on this rubbish product.

Now I have to physically return it which takes up my time and money and I haven't even cooked a single chip in it! Show details

Love It

This is my main appliance for cooking and I absolutely love it. I cook everything from chips to roasts to cakes as well as chicken pieces, pork chops and fish and have never had a problem with anything. Everything has been cooked perfectly. Easy to wash the pan in the sink. The only problem that I have is pouring any fat out because of the vents all around the pan makes it hard but other than that I can highly recommend this product. Show details

Hmmmmmm

Okay first off, pretty easy to use although the control panel is very dim and I'd challenge anyone to be able to actually see the presets. Cooked the snapper lovely but then I followed the instructions exactly for the chips but half weren't even cooked and none were crispy, they weren't soggy but definitely not nice. Show details

throwing your food on the road is better cooking

This air fryer is quite disappointing. It takes forever to get even mildly warm, so dont expect to do any decent cooking with it. It simply does not work anywhere near as expected, and i really tried to give it a chance but it simply turned out to be trash.

oh and i also cut my finger on a sharp edge when cleaning it. fun.

Attached is where this product rightly deserves to be, and also the result of half an hour on (allegedly) 200 degrees. the only point it actually cooked was when i put it on the grill instead. Show details
