DO NOT USE
Plumber called to fix recently installed kitchen mixer tap - handle had come off. Plumber attended and was met by 85yo lady resident. Plumber recommended replacing tap. New tap installed which took less than an hour. Invoiced for $823.90, which unfortunately wasn't challenged and was paid. Tap later that evening leaked and customer contacted the 1300 number. Call taker threatened not to send anyone out to fix tap unless customer stopped complaining. Second plumber subsequently attended, taking 2 hrs to fix leaking tap. He confirmed to the customer that she had been ripped off by initial plumber and that this is not uncommon. Contacted company twice asking for invoice explanation with no reply. Complaint made to VBA
BEWARE - OVERPRICED
Got a job done with them for hot water replacement ($3700) and roof valley replacement ($5600). Was advised that majority was materials cost which I genuinely believed. Asked for breakdown of costs to find out I have been ridiculously overcharged. My original plumber who was not available at the time advised the hot water replacement should have only been $1250 max. Breakdown of the job included $80 to turn on and off the water and $80 the same for the gas, nearly $300 for admin cost, $100 just for writing, $500 for their expensive petrol, tra...vel and toll fees, $30 for photos none of which I asked for. After all this, they charged me labour and installation costs separately for an additional $780. was also charged 70% mark up for materials which they claimed was the purchase price (I got proof from the actual suppliers how much they were actually charged) and other ridiculous fees. Even after all that, they found a leak in my gas line and they said I had no choice but to get an upgrade on mains for $5000-$10,000. Got my proper plumber to have a look who found the leak straight away and fixed it up for only $500. They are very misleading and overpriced and wanting to take advantage of everyday household people. Will be taking to VCAT to dispute charges.
Thieving pack of Grubs
Charged an 84yr old Pensioner who lives on her own $5000+ for a replacement HWS, 2 under sink traps, 5hrs labour total. Pushed her to sign off on it which she did, tried to get the bill looked at as she had no understanding of what was involved to be told "we stand by our price". Two plumbers came in after the job was completed and quoted half the price. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TURDS.
Price gouging at its worst
We called Priority One Plumbing to have some plumbing done for our renovation as our existing plumber was in the hospital and we didn’t want to delay our renovation. We were very clear in our chat that this was not emergency work but that we would require someone that day or the next day to do the work. We were told this was not a problem and that they had plumbers available. When the quote arrived we were shocked and thought there had been an error. We called to discuss but were told this was correct. Your quote was $2392.50 for a job that we...estimated to only take about 4 hours and had limited parts required. We decided to wait until our certified plumber was out of the hospital and had him complete the work. His invoice was for $753.50 including all parts and labour. He is a certified and registered plumber that does work on both residential and commercial sites. I am sure you agree the difference in quotes is substantial. When we contacted you after your reply was "We are able to provide warranties, on call 24/7 and can send a plumber even if one of the away." We cannot comment on your work but unless it is for an emergency issue we would never use your services again or recommend you to others.

They are un professional and do not guarantee workmanship as they claim! I booked Priority One a week ago and they sent [name removed] ( technician ) out to un block the sewage only for it to be blocked again after a couple of days. The problem was they never completed the job properly as he never jetted the end of the sewer line which he should have!! They said they would send the guy back at 7am in morning which then i received a text at 6.07am saying they'd have to cancel as he was sick. When i asked if they would sent another person they sa...id they wouldn't and that they won't send anyone and that essentially the problem was mine. I have been left stranded as a result with no shower or toilet I paid over $1,000 for this work and in this time i have received another quote for $400 which was jet and cctv so i really feel ripped of. This company is a scam so be very careful if you have already booked them or look to book them in the future.
I found them to be unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Their prices are more than double what a decent plumber would charge and the service was atrocious. They spent 8 months harassing me to pay an invoice when they had not completed the work. Despite telling them this on many occasions, they refused to discuss the matter with me and didn't even bother checking their own records. Waste of time, avoid.
I had a cistern that would not stop running, shower tap that did not switch off and required a new PLV (pressure lowering value). Quote was given with no breakdown for $2,434.20. Job took 45 minutes. They charged for installing each separate component @$110, $42 to test, make notes $34, remove rubbish $40, admin cost to create report/project mgt - $135, compliance cert - $160 (this costs only $35). vehicle maintenance - $30 and public liability insurance - $30. A Total rort and will be pursuing this further via the VBA.
Highway Robbery !!!
Because we need the job to be done in a hurry, it does not mean you are allow to rob us blind. Quoted $149/hr, it is already a high figure, than waited a day to be given a quote for $8,000 out of nowhere to do a days of work, wasted a day of our time where we could have got someone else to do the work. It is just taking advantage of people.
Our Hot Water Unit burst on a Sunday and we needed prompt action. Priority One Plumbers agreed to attend the next day which they did and gave my elderly wife a quote stating that we would receive a 10 percent Senior discount and that the unit would be replaced that day.
The unit was installed that day and when I asked for a breakdown of the quote it took a number of days and calls to arrange. To my surprise the 10 percent discount was in the form of not charging me for the electricians fee for disconnecting and reconnecting power to the unit ...
Rip-off Drain unblocking
They arrived on time, and did the job really quickly. First thing they asked me to sign an agreement about the quote, then the quote is done and you have to sign an agreement to continue. Plumber spent 1/2 the time typing up quotes and agreements. The job only took 10 mins. Then I was sent the $425 invoice with 2 pages of contract terms and conditions in fine-print.
Called to get someone out to check out our smelly ensuite. Initial call, had to ask who I'd called as they didn't identify themselves, not at all prepared to take my call. I got quoted $49 call out fee which I thought was quite reasonable.
The plumber they organised did arrive although just after the tail end of the time they were supposed to, but did arrive which is why they get 2 stars and not 1.
I took him upstairs to show him the issue. He says we have a blockage, depending on the problem and how hard it is to fix, might be pricey. I said...

We had a plumber come out from priority plumbing to install a new gas log fire heater into an existing chimney. Firstly he told us there was no way he could do it until we pointed out it was a flexible flue. Then he said he could do it. Then quoted us 3.5K and said it would not fit in our existing fireplace hole. Naturally, after being told it would fit by the sales guy we bought it from, we went back to the store to request a different sized heater that would fit. We were surprised to discover that they could recommend a plumber who not only c...ould make it fit perfectly (which it does) but would only charge us $700. Priority Plumbing are clearly trying to exploit people and don't have the expertise required to do their job... make sure you get a second quote before going with these guys.
I called Priority One Plumbing for service. Made appointment, next day advised cannot make it need to change. Fair enough. Then day before second appointment called to say unable to attend need to make further appointment. Made another appointment. And yes, after third time scheduled, get text Saturday night unable to attend. On fourth attempt Job done and not properly. Had make further appointment to fix the shower leak but of course this time came straight away as I had only paid part of invoice and monies were owing. The next day after finally getting leaking shower fixed I got call reminding me to make payment. If this is the type of service you wish then use this company.
They provided a vague and broadly speaking quote that didnt specify anything and then when asked for a detailed one, I never heard from them other than a couple of months later when they wanted the money for the quote attendance. Very pushy when they want your money but no action when you want something from them.
Called for plumber on 31 March at 5:50pm, told there would be one here within an hour, then a text saying they were waiting for a reply. Nothing happened, no response when I contacted them. Called yesterday, I was sent a message saying they called, no answer so sent the plumber elsewhere, no missed calls on my phone. I have evidence. I used this company last year, $3,000 job and this is the terrible service I received as a previous customer. No apology, disgraceful service.
I’ve finally found a plumber
Well I have had various plumbers over the years and none of them have been any good
Today David came when he said he would, he was very polite, friendly, cared about our problem
Totally professional new exactly what he was doing. I will definitely but using him again and most certainly recommending him

You charged $1050 dollars to 'not move' a sink that you made my friends Asian girlfriend to move aside from a outside access drain for a tap, even though she stated it was the toilet that was blocked. Then you used a camera but could not find any problem (even though she stated it was not the storm water pipe, it was the sewage area), You then opened up a 40mm inspection point and then send the camera into the PIPE that was not the problem, She stated it was the area under the toilet where the poo and toilet paper go. He stated he could not access that area, but he could for $4000 dollars and $1000 dollars cheaper if she signed up for the next day. This will NOT be paid, we will be seeking legal guidance and from most of the reviews of your business, you conduct business with no morals and try to take advantage from people who don't deserve it.
