What batteries are suitable for the Propert bathroom scales model 2853?

My digital scales have stopped working have changed batteries and still don’t work .They are 12 months old

You can try this. I was told to take out the batteries.... turn the scales upside down holding for 15 -20 seconds. Reinsert batteries and try again. If you move the scales about they fail to work so need to calibrate if you move them. To do this put one foot on scale and remove when the 00.00kg weight comes up. remove your foot. wait till screen goes blank and then try them again. when you move them even to change batteries, you have to recalibrate them... I have followed Cynthia's advice after replacing the batteries but the Probert Glass digital scales still won't function properly What further advice wold you offer?

I've changed batteries after only a few months, and they are empty again! Unbelievable!

They are complete rubbish. Take them back to where you bought them and get a refund.

Hi, the propert 5kg glass top digital scales I brought won’t sit flat because of a plastic bit sticking out where the battery goes? How do I fix it?

Purchased Propert Bamboo bathroom scales on the 10 April, 2021 from Bunnings Townsville; are now showing ERR message. Changed batteries, still ERR. Any suggestions. It takes us a full day and about $50 to get to Bunnings to exchange them. Scales cost us $50.00. Regards Petah Byron

Take the batteries out, leave it for 10, 15 minutes and put them back on

Good morning . We have used your "white" glass scales for a number of years. Replaced the batteries a couple of times and good except of that. Recently when we stand on the scales the screen shows 18:8:88 then goes to zero and stays there. Help please

Model 3454 Vector. What does it mean Err and how do I fix?

Err means that there is an error in the program.The most simple and easiest solution would be to remove the batteries and re insert them.Then follow the instructions for setting up the scales.If this doesn't solve the problem then I would return them to the store and ask for an exchange or refund.

mine wont work i have taken it out off the box, put new batteries in it and won't weigh when i stand on it???

If it won't work,take it back.Sorry to be so blunt but I found once it fails it really won't do what you want.Only other thing I can think of is check the instructions again and be sure you have it set for one person,weighing only.Not other members of the family if there are any.

Now come on...put your glasses on and turn the scales over. There is a button to press underneath. Easy peasy!

Sorry Judy, I just realised you are asking about the horrible Propert scales. I wrote a review about them some time ago. Dreadful. They replaced mine with a set of Soehnle scales. Don't know why your query was directed to me from Product Review as I gave a very poor review of the Propert scales, they were so inaccurate. So cant help you.
