Very low quality, scratched after only a week & the middle of the pan raised upwards

Don't buy it. The non-stick layer scratched after using a few times. I was so careful and only used the non-stick spoon and even avoided putting it in the dishwasher. The middle of the pan also raised upwards after one or two weeks. I only used it on induction stoves with average temperatures. It's an expensive poor quality pan. Show details

Lit shattered during cooking

I was cooking burgers using pyrolux pan for first time. Heat was very low as the meat was cooked and I put lit on so cheese on patties would melt. A few minutes later the glass lid shattered ruining the meal. Show details

Don't buy it

Don't Buy it. Within 4 months, handle will be loose and the cover for it will break and tear.
Over 1 year the bottom of the base will warp and scratch your cooktop. Show details

Great Frypan

This is a great frypan. Cooks evenly on a solid base. The non stick is still great after 2 years with minimal signs of wear and tear. Highly recommend this product Show details

Pyrolux Connect Frypan is not built for induction

Am very disappointed with this brand. My new frying pan does not sit flat on my induction hob and as a result warms slowly and unevenly. I have to have induction hob on highest setting to be able to cook anything. Not sure how manufacturers could get this so wrong! It was purchased through Victoria's basement. Show details

Won’t buy again. Dangerous product

Scratches straight away. Those studs that connect the handle to the pan blew off and almost hit my son in the eye! Not a good design. Won’t be buying these again. It’s a heavy pan too. Show details

Terrible pan!

I had this pan less than 8 months (with high use) before the coating started rippling. Supplier refused warranty replacement (incorrectly stated I had used it on high heat - absolutely not true).
Do not buy this shoddy product
And most certainly do not buy through Kitchen warehouse who were less than useless Show details

Not what they say it is!!!

Used pan for 3 months on irregular basis and already have a coat of what they called non sticky stone come off. Plenty of scratches just for cooking a curry of boned meat. Show details

Non stick deep pan 30cm with lid

Bought last year March 2019, it was a deep 30cm pan paid $100, retailer assured me it’s going to have the best pan. But the experience was not good only after couple of times of use, the surface has become uneven. And food started sticking at the bottom. Thinking to visit the store. Show details

Non-stick nonexistent

Bought a 5 Litres cassolette. Retailer assured me that the quality was as good as any imported product. Food has stuck from the very first use. Haven't use scourers or harsh chemicals. The slightest food stains have been impossible to shift. So you can imagine any burn marks are like. Show details

Not non-stick

I just bought an egg poacher and the quality of the non-stick surface is really poor. 100% stick! The price suggests reasonable quality. Im tired of being ripped off - do not buy!!! Show details

Does Pyrolux cast iron pans have a Teflon coating of any kind?

My brand new pyrostone fry pan has a very small dent which happened when I was pouring mixture to the pan the bowl slipped and fell on the pan. Is it safe to cook in this pan? I can see the metal underneath. What metal is underneath the surface?

dishwasher safe?

billyboybliss
billyboybliss

If it has an aluminium base, the dishwasher will oxidise the base and create a black oxide, which is very hard to clean. I have thrown items in the bin after that outcome. Buy stainless steel or induction products if you want dishwasher safe.

thanks for the information I will not be using in dishwasher.
