Had this card just for the signing up points
When i first got the card, i thought that it was a generous card to get some qantas rewards but i was digging my own grave. I missed read and interpreted the way of gaining the sign up points. Overall, this just a regular credit card but with exceptional fraud protection & travel insurance if purchasing flight using it, however that comes with an annual cost of $49. If you can afford for a fee better off applying for the next level up platinum version, it has got the lounge access and so so much generous of the signing up QFF points. If you pla...n to use a lot from this card while overseas, better to prepare yourself to have a back up credit card, from personal experience, you may somehow block a transaction, and not convenience to get it unblock until you return to Oz.

NOW CHARGING $2 FOR PAPER STATEMENTS!!
Started out fine, however now no more paper statements and expect you to navigate the poor site/app with several passwords to access your statement. No bill reminders, just put a stop on your account. Entrapment set-up based billing system designed to charge you late payments, interest and fees. Will be cancelling this CC.

Questions & Answers
$500 excess for travel insurance claim is ridiculously high considering that any travel insurance quote WITHOUT excess doesn't go over $200.
Has anyone make a travel insurance claim with this credit card?
Also some covers doesn't make any sense like paying $500 excess to claim a maximum $500 for interstate flight delays. Hilarious! Is this even legal?
