QEP 60707 Master Cut Tile Saw
LarySouth East Queensland, QLD
It does the job
Bought this small machine to cut 6 big ceramic floor tiles (450 x 450 mm). I had to remove the gauge and guide the tiles on hand but it went good.
I didn't have to remove the guard, just had to align it with the disk. If you install at the default position it does block the way and the tile stops moving once it passes the disk (as the others reported above). Took 2 attempts but after that it worked fine with the guard on place. Please note I haven't done 45 degree cuts.
Machine comes with 3!! diamond disks in Bunnings. Good option if you have...
Purchased in February 2020 at Bunnings Warehouse for $99.00.

Works as advertised
I had almost exactly the same experience as Dean. Was going to cost $200 to get 14 granite coping tiles cut so I bought this for $90.
I screwed it on a ply base and made an extension platform out the side, as I was cutting 600x400x 40/20 tiles that weight about 15kg each.
It cut them at about 4mm per second. It tends to spay water at you (because I needed to remove the blade guard and fence) and you can jam the blade if you try correcting an off cutting line but it did the job OK.
It would certainly work well on normal house tiles. The motor is nice and quiet.

Surprisingly okay and good value for the money
$89 at Bunnings which was cheaper than the cost to hire a tile / brick saw for 24 hours so took a punt. Modified it by adding an extension table off a small table saw as needed to cut 600 x 300 x 20mm blue stone pavers. Mounted it all on a piece of ply as the vibration tended to cause it to move around (put the water tank in place before you attach the saw to the ply!). The water system is a bit primitive but very effective although does need topping up after each cut. The fence stayed firmly in position for 10 cuts and at the end of the day th...
Read moree tile saw did an excellent job of cutting both the 300 & 600mm lengths as required. No dust and very clean, smooth and easy cuts. No problem with the Blue Stone Pavers and we now have a tile saw for ongoing use as opposed to hiring one and having nothing to show for the money other than cut pavers. Not a high quality saw but surprising okay and good value for the money if you just need basic cuts.Find out how QEP 60707 Master Cut Tile Saw compares to other Table Saws
