Dreadful packing service!
My husband and I moved house 2 weeks ago and the 4 removalists were excellent. However, Quick and Easy recommended we use a packing service called The Finishing Touch. They were a complete disaster- totally inefficient and disorganised! After one and a half hours they ran out of paper and suggested we go and buy some- the reason being they were so excessive in their use of paper and boxes they were bound to run out.i.e. Wrappping plastic cooking utensils and melamine plates in copious amounts of paper. They only managed to pack the kitchen and ...living area in 5 hours...my husband and I were left to do the rest, and, they left behind several drawers full in the kitchen which we had to go and collect the next day after spending hours searching for the missing items! The unpacking was even worse...they had absolutely no idea! This was the greatest waste of time and money I have ever encountered...we had to completely re do everything they had done and it cost nearly the same amount as the removal itself! Super expensive and truly terrible!

Damaged furniture, refused claim on insurance
2 BR unit
The move was messy, somewhat disorganised.
Damage to fridge and microwave. Rang the office, wanted to make an insurance claim. The gentleman was aggressive, tried to bully me and refused to accept my feedback on the move. Contradicted me with regards to the professional manner of his 2 staff, said his boys were "good boys". I have the damaged goods to prove otherwise. Don't deal with these people, they have no idea of being professional. They are shonky and bullies.

Quick but not so easy
The two removalists were polite and relatively efficient, however they accidentally smashed a window in the new home.
Accidents happen, that I understand.
The removalists refered me to their office who I have had to call 6 times over a few days to arrange for repair. I spoke to 4 different people, sent several emails as requested by 2 of them and still do not have a clear course of action.
Customer service after the move is clearly not a strong point.

Anything but quick and easy!
They sub-contract your job out without telling you, which they gave to someone that had never worked with them before and someone they have not observed. They unfortunately gave my house move to a man with a beaten up truck that spoke NO English and who had no idea what they were doing. They were late completely inexperienced and I later found out I was there first job ever with Quick and Easy. .... a job that should have taken 4 hours max but took 6 hours, and they charged me $60.00 to plastic wrap my bed, which is extortionate, and they d...amaged it anyway along with a few other bits of furniture. Then proceeded to demand I pay $45 for his travel which I refused due to the policy of Quick and Easy of no call out fee. Which was hard to argue with someone who didn't understand what you were saying. I did complain to company and did receive a small refund but this move was anything BUT quick and easy. Do not recommend
Disorganised, late - Stop now if you are thinking of these guys.
Yes the rates are very reasonable but nothing can compensate for the stress they put me through! I moved interstate with Quick and Easy and there was nothing quick or easy about it. Although I checked that everything was on track several times and received my last confirmation of pick up time etc just 3 days before, they didn't turn up and when I called gave me a bunch of excuses and lies (like saying they had not confirmed with me - although they confirmed enough to change me!) but no good reasons for the delay. 7 hours after the due time they...arrived and proceeded to ask me to provide the tools they needed as they had none. Within an hour it was dark but they had no lights so I had to park me car in a neighbours driveway and leave it running with the headlights on for over an hour. They broke an antique cabinet and also could not fit everything in the truck. I had used their own calculator and added 5 cu metres extra for certainty but the manager told me that the calculator only gave an estimate so it was apparently my fault it didn't fit. They promised to put the rest of my stuff on a backload but never did and I had to arrange for it to be transported separately. They started so late that my goods could not be unloaded at the other end until the next day so at nearly midnight I had to find somewhere to stay. I will be moving again in about 12 months and will not even consider Quick and Easy. 7 Hours late - with a range of lies/excuses about why; had no tools, no lights.
We used quick & easy removals to move from Sydney to north coast NSW. We knew there would be problems from the start when the movers who arrived were barely literate. Required repeated instructions and close supervision. After a day of loading they called us at 1AM unsure of where to go despite an address that shows up on a GPS. Directing them was challenge when they can't communicate in English. They then insisted on unloading at 2am rather than wait for the sun to come up. Very inconsiderate and quite stressful when you never know what they a...re going to do next. If you want Quick & Easy contractors who stare blankly at you when you need to share important information, then go right ahead with this mob. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Worked hard Can't communicate
Quick and Easy??? Definitely Not!!
The website looked great and I thought we were in for a reasonably easy move of our 2 bedroom apartment. The client service up until move day was pretty good and they followed up well on the phone and with details etc.
But on move day, a truck with 2 surly men showed up and they took one look at our stuff and said their truck was not big enough. So after a fair bit of backwards & forwards, the company said they would send a bigger truck within an hour or so.
Two hours later, 2 more men showed up, with a truck exactly the same size! They ...said it would take them about 2 loads, which obviously meant that it would take longer and therefore be charged more. I spoke to many people at the company, and finally the owner, who was a truly horrible man with absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. He threatened to cancel my job because I was upset at him over the phone, and told me that "I don't need your money, I'll just tell my boys to leave you and cancel the job, then you'll be sorry". He also rudely suggested that we just change our move day and move the following day, when he had trucks available. As if??!! People organise their lives around their move day, and of course so had we and we had many things pending on this particular day - something that would be obvious to any removals company. I was gobsmacked at his rudeness and unwillingness to compromise on anything or provide any kind of service. In the end, we told the removalists to continue with the job and we would just load what we could. The actual removalists were fine, though they didn't speak much english. I would definitely not recommend this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service was non-existent, and absolutely added to the stress-levels of moving.
Moved a two bedroom unit - a bit complicated as there were a few different drop-offs. Everything was already boxed up for moving.
One truck with two removalists was recommended after a verbal inventory on the phone. The truck was too small and we had to get another man to move a heavy item, who came with another truck, so ended up paying for two trucks when we should have been given a larger truck with three men, and an earlier starting time, as the job did not get finished on the day and had to be finished the next morning. So we ended u...p paying for three minimum two-hour jobs and more time than was probably necessary. On the plus side, the guys (all sub-contractors) were friendly and helpful. However they put a large gouge in the communal hallway and despite speaking to the company numerous times regarding insurance to cover the damage, and telling me they will get back to me, you guessed it, I have yet to hear a word. The job should have been better organised from the outset. Should have been supplied with a bigger truck and more movers, saving time and money. Would not use them again.

Hi are you able to give an approx quote on a move from Mt Colah near Hornsby to Kennards Storage at Brookvale with one stop in the middle to drop off a couple of things at Cromer. Date to be confirmed 10th February 2021
I doubt this question will ever be passed on. It will probably disappear just like my negative comment about them losing, or stealing. my new chainsaw and near new orbital sander. How many other dissatisfied customers out there have have goods lost stolen or damaged by these bandits with no compensation?
Pete, I can only speak from my experience with Dani and Fadi, and I really couldn't have asked for a better service. Mine was a big job, and they did it excellently.
Dani & Andy did a good job, but the management is terrible. They called me and my family liars, saying they did not believe the two missing items ever existed. The last time my chainsaw was seen was by my son, it was sitting on the back of their truck. I don’t care how it and my sander went missing, I just want compensation for them. As a retiree I cannot easily afford to replace the $325.00 they cost. The measure of a good company is not wether it makes mistakes or not, it’s how they rectify them. This company just denies any responsibility on their part.
I have an old mattress I just replaced. I need someone to haul it away. Do you do that kind of thing and for approximately how much money?? If you do not, can you recommend someone who needs a little extra money in his pockets?
