Favourite pram for city
I have had this for 3 years and it lives in the car. Not great off road bc of the small wheels, but great on paths and shops. Use this for both kids. Super light and compact been overseas twice but always put it in a bag when travelling as the wheels can come loose
Enjoyed having it!
Ordered from USA, I loved the design and the colour. Was very sturdy and well built, high quality fabric. Baby sits and lay down very secure and comfortable. Good price, but codt too much for postage. Compact when folded but with two pieces. I took overseas and lost a wheel in the aeroplane, had to order a new wheel from UK! there is an issue with the wheels sometimes they don't fit into place properly. And the other issue with wheels was that they don't run quietly on rough surfaces, it was very annoying at the beginning, but had to get used to it.
Quinny Zapp Xtra 2
Pros: Good size seat. Compact fold. Love the foot rest pops out for little ones and pops in when kids are older.
Doesn't take up space in the boot of my car. Can carry in one hand. Love the canopy hood. Good quality. Sturdy frame. Good wheels.
Cons: I prefer one with a larger basket or easy to access storage.
There are 5 steps to close this stroller. You don't want to be doing that in cold and wet weather.
Quinny zapp xtra 2
Paid full price for this thinking it would be amazing but I am so disappointed I wish I had not bought it. As lovely as it looks it feels so flimsy I was actually convinced it was broken somewhere until I read other reviews on and others said the same thing. Folding down is not to bad, and there is no space in the basket or to hang handbag etc. As for attaching a buggy board to it, I don't feel safe using it as my son has to hold on to side of pushchair which as mentioned before is so flimsy it feels like it will snap. Defiantly would not recommend this pushchair especially as they are very very over priced for what feels like an absolute waste of money.

All in all a great and convenient stroller
Compact fold. Fits perfectly in my boot with plenty of room for nappy bag and grocery shopping.
Foot rest pops out making it perfect for miss 8 months.
Foot rest pushes in making it perfect for miss two who is just over 100cm tall.
Has a large canopy hood for shade.
Seat can face me or out.
Lays flat for sleeps.
Best of all my 8-month-old falls asleep within minutes of being in the stroller whereas when I was using the Moodd for her she would never ever fall asleep. She seems much more comfortable in this stroller.
Cons: (nothing was bad enough for me not to buy the stroller) ...Storage Basket is too small. Folding the stroller was a little tricky at first but gets easier as you get to know the stroller. It is hard to get up gutters and not the best to push when off a foot path.

Quinny Zapp Xtra 2
Well built, robust, super easy to maneuver. I can push it with one hand and hold my other child with another hand. Extreme large canopy, good for sun, wind and rain. Rain cover fits perfectly and easy to put on.
Multiple configurations (forward/ rear facings, flat/ incline) and compact when folded, good for traveling. Can carry on board for airplane.
The canvas seat is perfect for summer, and seems very comfortable. Both my children fall asleep in it very easily.
Integrated adapters to fit Quinny Buggy Board (purchase overseas) for your toddler to stand.
Cons: ...The folding mechanism is a bit tricky, I pinched my fingers before. But once you are used to it, it is very quick and easy. Although you can attach a maxicosi capsule to XTRA 2, I won't recommend it unless you are only going to a mall. Hard to carry around when folded, unless you put it in its own travel bag.
Love love love
This stroller has been an absolute delight to push its light and easy to move around even on the grass without extra effort.
And compact, wow, easy to store and i have much needed space back in my car boot, the versitilty of being able to lay toddler down to sleep and cover with canopy with such a small light weight travel system makes a parents trip out that little bit easier! Couldn't be happier with our new quinny Zapp xtra would highly recommend.
The perfect compact pram
I have had 9 pram since my 3 yr old was born and the quinny zapp xtra has finally covered all that I needed in a pram. It light and compact but still is comfy and suitable for my 3 yr old and 7 month old. I wish I had of found this before I wasted money on the others. I found the quinny customer service extremely helpful with all my enquiries and can't recommend them enough
Good second pram
Bought Quinny Zapp Xtra as our second pram. I wanted something light and compact for a travel.
My 7-month-old sleeps in it happily and my 3-year-old (14.5kg) fits in it too. The seat is a two-way facing which is quite handy as I like seeing my kids. The seat fully reclines so my baby can sleep comfortably. The seat is not padded it is like a hammock.
I was worried how manoeuvrable it was before I used it. It is easy to handle. As the pram doesn't have large air wheels, it gets stuck with small debris. The handle feels flimsy. The basket i...s not large however because of the shape of the basket and chassis, you can load more than you expect. On the flat surface, (eg: shopping centre) it is just perfect. It is not too bulky and still manoeuvrable, great for shopping. Easy to fold/unfold and put it in a car boot. I am sure it will be no problem for travelling. I still prefer using a larger and more stable pram as my main use however overall I am happy with Zapp Xtra.
Omg it's the easiest stroller I've used to push around !
Been looking for a stroller mostly to take in holidays an quick trips to the shops, out of all my prams and strollers and I have a few :-) this is the easiest to manuver, so light weight an comfortable to push. Our daughter loves zipping around in it, she is nearly two an loves how she can get in an out, she can see out the sides of the sun shade as it has windows an has a peekabook window for me which is perfect to keep an eye on her, five point harness very comfortable with long shoulder pads, easy to collapse an open after a few goes you ge...t the hang of it, not much storage but not an issue with me looking to get an under basket for the stroller, brake is easy to use just one press with your foot no messing around trying to flick it like other strollers, easy wipe clean material, it's a must for every mum on the go !
Love is in the air
Best buy ever...my super Zapp Xtra Quinny. Very good advice and presentation from the Maxi Cosy staff. My daughter wouldn't leave the pram! Very light and easy to use.I had to get it! Recommending to everyone! Thank you for passing on your passion about your brand.
Kim from Victoria
My daughers love it (3,5yo and 3,5months old)
Quinny zapp xtra
Got this for my almost 2 year old. Felt very flimsy and not sturdy. During first use my daughter tipped it. I relisted it for sale the same day. Its lightweight which is great, but that comes at a cost if you have a horror like me- would be perfect for a good baby, but for an attempted escape artist that kicks about its not sturdy enough. The way to fold it is painful in comparison to most other brands. The seat is a great size and the small fold of the frame makes it less likely to get dinged up being lifted in and out of boots. But the handle...s didn't feel secure, and the stroller didn't feel secure in comparison to my Emma, strider or even bug. but it looks great on the plus side! Nive big seat with easily cleaned fabrics, small fold Tips easy, hard to access basket. rediculous folding!!!
I bought the Quinny Zapp Xtra folding seat for use in my car and love it... hardly ever use my other pram now...
It folds easily, has a decent enough carry tray for a few items (not many, though), is sturdy, has a great sized sun canopy and snaps together easily. Its seat is reversible, which is great... but folds in only one direction, which is a bit of a pain if you want to position it in baby facing mode.
The new model folds with the seat attached, which is great... The adjustable seat incline is really wonderful... wish all prams had tha...
Not good!! my quinny zapp xtra was sent for repair via toys r us norwich , repair was done but when I revieced it back it was not in my original box and they didn't sent my instructions back , a large stratch was in the handle and also had oil all over seat as they packed it with front when off , I have contacted them stating all my issues and they replyed to start with and now I have asked for new seat cover they haven't replayed for 2 weeks . Wouldn't recommend quinny to any one .
Faces both ways
Customer service won't reply to my issues raised after being returned to me after repair worse than sent .
I'm really happy with my Quinny. I bought this in anticipation for our trip to Thailand, 2nd hand off Ebay for $160 but have seen it in the stores for $249. I did a lot of research online before I purchased this and my other consideration was the Swift mountain buggy (but too bulky when folded). I was happy with the way the Quinny performed throughout our trip to KL, Phuket and Bangkok. My 14mth old girl seemed comfty, although she did slide down it a bit. We figured that to go out for dinner we'd feed her and then walk the streets until she...fell asleep. I bought a shade/mossie net from Target which fitted the Quinny and covered my little girl over while we had dinner and cocktails. Bangkok is not pram friendly but we still got around with a lot of lifting the pram up and down and the Quinny withstood it all. It was easy to take on public transport, taxis and tuk tuks. The folding up and down of the Quinny wasn't a problem for us, even my himbo husband can do it! I have 2 prams, the other is a Urban mountain buggy - both I love. Small, compact, easy to steer, travel bag is great No basket (so I bought a netted basket to go underneath the seat and a carrier that connects to each of the handle bars to hold a wallet, phone & bottles etc) and each time I've checked my bags in at the airport the pram has weighed between 8.7 - 9.5kgs so too heavy for carry on. I think it's too large for carry on anyway, especially with a nappy bag, my bag and a pillow and a child on my hip (well I used a side sling to keep my hands free)
dont buy it, your wasting your money!!
I think there is better options out there now in the way of smaller prams.
The only pro i have about this pram is the small fold.
EVERYTHING. allow yourself an extra 15mins when going out with this pram to unfold it, then another 15 to fold it again, the raincover is useless, the pram is flimsy, doesnt like any bit of rough terrain.
Good shopping stroller with lots of great features.
I have been through four prams and strollers so when going to buy I knew exactly what I wanted.
The Quinny Zapp Xtra seemed to tick all the boxes, with the help of a very enthusiastic sales person!
I wanted compact, lightweight, easy fold, good storage basket/pockets, large sunshade and reverse option if possible.
As with most things, you really don't know if its going to suit you until you've used it for a little while in 'real life', not just wheeled it around the shop a few times!
Firstly, contrary to the assurance of the sales person...
overall i love my quinny zapp xtra.. due to its reclinable, reversable, roomy seat. and can be used from newborn so i dont need to buy a bassinet. hope next time they can make a new model of zapp xtra which i can attach the quinny buzz box underneath. hehehe.. i love the prams from quinny..

A great package
This is a stroller that goes from birth into the toddler years. I had my mother inlaw hail it out from the u.s.a as it wasn't avaliable in Australia at the time I bought mine. We've all bought a pram which is more suited to an infant, then we all later purchased a stroller when our bubs got older , reducing the heavy bulky pram. This package does it all !
Large canopy with side vision panel for bub so it doesn't feel closed in. Compact fold. Fully reclines and can be positioned facing you or forwards to see the world. It's very light weight ...

perfect for me :)
i have had about 7 prams/strollers in the past 4 yrs from beema-phil and teds(x2)-steelcraft(x2)-bebe care-peg perego (i think thats all from memory)....each with their own pro's and cons....
in this stroller i was looking for:
1. a very compact fold (the adapatbility of squeezing it into a fully packed holiday boot is great, esp with it coming away in 2 small parts)
2. light weight to lift into/out of boot
3. light to push (and the zapp xtra amazed me here...its soooo light)
4. super large hood (i loooove how huge the hood is, and bub l...
Questions & Answers
I have a quinny Zapp 2013 but the press button number 1 won't press and fold. What can I do?
Can you use only one hand to push stroller and will it be easy to maneuver with one hand? Does it has a parent cup holder? Does it fit in peg perego car seat? How much is just for seat cloth and a canopy if I want to purchase it separately ?thank you
It really isn't designed for one handed use. I'd get a full bar to use one handed and not handles. Cup holders can be purchased from a lot of retailers for prams seperatelt and click into place.
Thank you for your questions. 1) You will need both of your hands to push this stroller. 2) Our cup holder accessory is designed to work in perfect harmony with a Quinny stroller and is sold separately. Please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 809 526 for assistance. 3) The Quinny Zapp Xtra is not compatible with a Peg Perego Infant Carrier. 4) For more information on our accessories range including retail prices, contact our Customer Service team on 1300 809 526.
