I note that you indicated slat base requirements wrt slat size, spacing and support beams, but what about adjustable beds? Are they considered a firm enough base wrt to warranty? (Long single, A.H Beard Uplift base).
Yes, an adjustable base is fine to use with our mattresses, However, you just need to make sure there is sufficient air circulation under the base. Any flat solid timber sheet as a base is no...
Thanks for responding. I'm not sure how much air you'd get on an adjustable base, so I might need a rethink on the mattress, but I appreciate you taking the time to answer... My choices for adjustable...compatible mattresses that come in Long Single sizes are somewhat limited.
Hi Kirk, if the adjustable base has some openings on the bottom of the base (not just a single flat base, but rather something with ventilation holes or slats), then our mattress will most likely be compatible.
I already have two mattress bases and want to know which one I could use with this mattress?
1. timber slat base, QS with no centre beam, slats are solid wood 7cm x 2cm, or
2. Sealy Posturepedic Adjustable base made of metal
Is your 24cm mattress suited to an adjustable base, or if not, is this base still acceptable to use in the flat position only?
It would be better if you sent us some pictures of your beds through email - we need to analyse this in more detail but it is possible that both beds will be okay. The gap between the slats...is also very important and there are other considerations.
I purchased a three layer mattress last year and while I do enjoy the comfort I do have a problem with the top layer moving off to the side of the bed. I have washed the cover which did help for a short time but it just keeps moving.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Jo, thanks for your question and thanks again for your order with us!
Apologies you're having an issue here. The cover fits quite tight and the latex layers are very grippy on themselves, so it re...ally shouldn't slide under normal use. Especially if you had our mattress protector and/or a fitted sheet on top too, holding it in place even further. Washing the entire cover on warm (not just the removable top layer) could improve things too, to allow it to shrink a little more.
Thanks for that.
I will send you an email with pictures.
