excellent machine ! – Purchased CMX2106 with optional winch Oct 21 Murwillumbah Mowers - Highly recommend store and all staff. ( Downgraded from a 4wd tractor and slasher for working a 35acre steep property). This high quality machine understates it's capabilities ( compliments brushcutter and minor chainsaw work ). It literally bulldozes forwards or backwards, up or down steep slopes, slashing and mulching thru ragweed overgrowth, dense lantana, wild tobacco bush, 40-50mm diameter thick bamboo, in wet or dry conditions. Surprisingly mows lawn down to about 50-70mm height and maneuvers easily thru narrow spaces and delicate orchard fruit trees.. The 2wd / 4wd / diff lock / and winching uphill - all work perfectly even after 50 hours hard work. Easy to clean, surprisingly comfortable and low noise operation. The blades are extremely tough (I've accidentally hit and shattered large rocks many times with no problem) Follow the factory manual and you won't go wrong - However, most negative issues relate to me as the operator: These are; 1. the battery location / access needs to addressed (.. a manufacturer issue) 2. the solenoid can prevent starting if debris builds up (.... a maintenance issue). 3. The machine is quite light and can bog in slippery conditions. ( ..more of an operator issue). 4. The machine is also quite low and can get stuck on top of unseen rocks ( operator issue, but solved by winching) 5. The tyres / tubes are tough but can puncture (..more of a location issue and tyre pressure)
