6 Day Reef Sleep – We had a tour change in the Friday out to the Whitsundays but it was absolutely fantastic. The accomodation at Toscana Airlie Beach was fantastic! Reef sleep was amazing - thanks for an absolutely amazing adventure! 10/10 Show details · 1

Amazing trip. Great – I had an amazing time on this trip, and created memories with my friend that will last a lifetime. The crew on the Whitsunday Adventurer we’re friendly and entertaining, and we had some unforgettable experiences. Highlights for me were: snorkelling at Manta Ray Bay and stand up paddle boarding after sunrise. We had a full moon on the first night as well so it made it even more special. Broome to Darwin 10 day tour – Did the Broome to Darwin 10 day Gibb River Road trip, first thoughts were we now have a another company doing the tour not Real Aussie Adventures. First 5 days great ,(except for the long distances required to get between campsites, hours spent in the truck). Once we got to the Bungle Bungles the problem started the trailer suspension collapsed,… Read more
the guides rang head office in Darwin, only to be find out the Sat phone sim card was out of date so no communication, when communication was established the guides were told to keep going you'll be right, don't want to pay for a tilt tray from Kunnanurra. Spent an interesting few hours trying to sort out a way to proceed. Arrived at Lake Argyle at 1945hr kitchen closes at 2000hr, then have to set up camp, bad planning. Due to Covid shutdown in Victoria rest of trip went to Sh?t, ended up flying from Kunnanurra to Darwin (at own expense) due to the possibility of having to go into quarantine in Darwin, which meant would have missed my flight home. Not much help from Far Outback Tours, guides were good but no support. Rant over,

SCAM ALERT – Our tour this year was cancelled and we were advised to procure a chargeback from this company for the return of our deposit. I have now received two emails 'confidently' promising the return of the deposit as " the Managing Director of Adventium and Website Travel has found an investor to provide the capital required to satisfy the banks and… Read more
allow government loans to go through". This is the second time this email has been sent to me with differing refund dates. From personal experience we believe that we have been scammed so PLEASE DO NOT BOOK these tours unless you wish for grief. Correspondence from them is an automatic reply followed by the follow up email of a promise to refund your deposit without it occurring.
Bait and Switch – Real Aussie Adventures advised a tour had been cancelled (with less than a week's notice), and were not willing to honour previous arrangements made months in advance. They advised a refund would not include credit card transactions fees despite the cancellation being on their part. Their only offering was to a similar tour which would have still… Read more
resulted in significant further financial outlay on my part.
They do not reply to Skype calls or messages, and gave conflicting information to different people (some clients were told that the tour was cancelled due to operational reasons, other clients were told that the former had cancelled and thus putting the tour beneath minimum numbers), and claimed information that they did not have (they stated an operator had been able to confirm A/B/C when A was not possible).
