I went back to the Rebel Sports Store in Canelands Shopping Center Mackay today with a FAULTY pair of shoes that lasted only a few months. They were my wives and bought from a DIFFERENT retailer. shoes off them and after only a few months they had the SAME FAULT would he REFUND the money or NOT. He said NO because it was a WEAR and TEAR ISSUE. Ps. "DO NOT SHOP REBEL". They are "THEIVES".

12 months on and still the same nonsense. Worst customer service at the Cannington store. Standing there for 15 minutes like a clown waiting for someone to assist in the shoe department. While all the staff member was just standing there looking and I had to shout in the middle of the store to get their attention. Where is management where is corporate? How can this nonsense? My son and I went into Rebel to buy football boots. The man who served us was friendly enough, but he was serving 3 other customers at the same time and was rushed off his feet. Definitely a lack of staff! The check out was appalling- we spent $480 and the girl serving us just chatted to the girl next to her- no eye contact, she didn’t greet us, didn’t ask if had found everything , didn’t thank us or say goodbye. Unpleasant Experience – I bought an Adidas soccer shoes from Rebel 14 months ago and while I was playing a game I noticed that one of the shoes had a tear at the top which is very uncommon for soccer boots that are made to last. that they only provide 6 months warranty. I contacted adidas customer support and they have advised that rebel should be able to resolve the warranty issue.

Moreover, it's clearly mentioned on Rebel's website the below:

" Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure"

I didn't think when I purchased the expensive shoes from rebel that it won't last 2 years and that they won't honor the 2 years warranty provided by Adidas.

Lesson learnt for next time to avoid Rebel and buy straight from adidas

Overcharging issue and no easy fix – I was overcharged at the cash register and realised when I got home. I sent an email to customer service and got a stock standard impersonal reply with refund policy url attached. I then rang and they could do nothing to resolve matter. Feeling ripped off. Small amount. 10% overcharge but the principle of the matter no one I have spoken to at rebel will resolve it or reimburse me the difference. They just say they can't help. Show details

Today (14 Novemver, 2025) we were very satisfied with the staff member, Aidan. He came across as approachable, with ready to help attitude, also with an exploratory manner in rendering his service to achieve our goal. We would like the Management to know about his excellent performance.

 Follow-up  · Aidan did not help us to find anything but he did help us to pump the Swiss ball (basket ball). We liked his "willing to help" attitude & especially his friendliness.

Garmin watches have known issues with cracked screens and monitors that do not function correctly. Garmin can not offer local assistance, and your only option is to purchase a refurbished model from Garmin. What a joke! How is this business practice allowed in Australia?

Unfortunately I had a poor experience at this rebel store, wich puts in doubt of the quality and originality of the shoes/boots they sell. I came in at 10am, right when they opened the store. I requested my size in a pair of boots that I liked and it took them around 20 minutes to return with my desired size, wich, by the way, were poorly stitched… Read more

and did not look as nice as the pair on display. I then tried another pair of boots and requested them on my size; they arrived more promptly with the boots thid time but the had a big stain on them. I finally decided to buy the 1st pair I've tried and when I was going to pay for them at the counter, they said that they could not sell them to me because they were not yet released. I left the store empty handed after spending 1 hour with them and unable to give me a solution. Very poorly managed and unable to sell a product on display. No compensation of any kind was given either and they let us go without writting our phone number anywhere for a later more formal apology. For all these reasons you receive a 1 star review. What a waste of time and transport money.

after the worker had sighted the completed purchase receipt he informs us that he cannot assist in loading our purchases into our car to bring it home and up and leaves. [Content Removed]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So two seventy plus year old customers were left, after the warehouse person up and left, to try to lift the carton, which has a two man lift warning, into the car unaided Goodbye Rebel sport you just lost another customer.

this would never have happened. Stupidity I spent more money. The store manager then proceeded to argue with me and used profanity and I have never been spoke to like that in my life. I will never be back. What type of business do you run. The is the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. She actually called me a c&$t under her breath. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. She should be sacked. Rebel Miranda is the absolute worst Rebel store. Unlike stores in Wollongong or Sydney city, it is completely disorganised. No order at all so it takes ages to find things. Visited Rebel sport Kangaroo Flat. Have bought numerous items there previously the staff have always been extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to help me. Was in there yesterday looking for a specific item. Asked a young male staff member and he just waved his hand in a direction and told me the item I wanted would be some where over there. Carbon spin bike was faulty on day 1. Contacted them immediately. 8 months on. Nothing has been done about it. They say they will fix it, they don't. They say they will refund or exchange, they Don't. Every email is ignored unless I email 4 times. shoes I purchased according to their system was different. I never seen that shoes at all. I suspect I received my shoes in a different box and I paid extra. I can't claim manufacturing fault now as the shoes I have are different from what their system shows. They asked me to contact customers service which I did so with no resault. They want me to go back to store. A disappointing experience.

Click & Collect service very poor – Click and Collect at your Glendale 2285 store is shocking, your workers are also needing some training. First time shopper with your company. Your text message to advise order ready, has nothing about where to go- this is the first negative. Then i rock up in store, there is what looks like two lanes one for click & collect and normal checkout… Read more

I still go to the click and collect area (what i thought line) line up behind a elderly lady who is collecting a click and collect herself, that customer service representative serving that customer helped her get out the door with her walker and he told me he would be back to help me. I continue to wait there for a number of minutes then a female staff member who had already been serving 2-3 people in that timeframe while this guy is helping the elderly lady, that female staff member then says click and collects at the back…. Now at this point im so annoyed and confused as to why am i just being told that!!!! VERY POOR system. Get your sh*t together!

I think walk out prior to getting my click and collect as i cannot even mentally prepare my self for what the hell was going on with that system. I go outside finally find a number to contact to make a complaint, it rings and im on a long wait over 15minutes and then eventually get hung up on….. like wow, your website has no complaints section either!

The “store manager” then proceeds to speak to me and says he will take my “feedback” which is useless those things verbally said get swept under the rug. - Even when i told that manager my experience on events he then said that did not happen, Well yes it did that young male staff member i was dealing with did walk the elderly lady outside of the store to assist her and That female staff member has poor customer service or maybe untrained ????

Like its christmas i dont know if your business is just new to the click & collect but maybe dont roll it out unless you have a PROPER system & FULLY trained staff!! Even when i got my order after wasting 20minutes of stuffing around! OH and they never even asked for my ID and or my order number! They could hand anything out to anyone, very concerning!

You probably should go to other major retail stores, bigw, target, kmart, jb etc to have a eye opener of what should be required to collect an order.

* that first young guy i have no issue with him, he had great service in regards to making that elderly lady have a great experience and get safely outside with her package & walking frame!!! He was also attentive and acknowledged me, when it took 3 people prior to that female! My issue is the female register operator and the manager, of course your staff training and the click & collect service.

I’m sure you have access to those in store cameras to see how it all was anyways! Never again.

DON'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE ON REBEL SPORTS KOTARA WEBSITE. Phone first – There should be a ZERO rating for this so called sport company. area. A salesman asked how he could help and when advised mens tennis shoes, he responded "Oh we don't have any". And proceeded to try and sell me a completely inappropriate pair of running shoes. I asked how could their website show so many brands and types of tennis shoes and yet have NO STOCK at all! He gave me a nonsense excuse that not all stores could get all shoes. Well apparently Kotara aren't able to get ANY mens tennis shoes. I am really disappointed with Rebel over this and went to have a whinge to the manager at the waste of my time and an hours return travel.
