Terrible Customer Service
we purchased Basins from Reece, but all showed the cracked in two years. Reece admitted that is quality issue and replaced all basins. But we cannot use the new basins after replaced because of leaking between tap and basin. we called customer care and request the plumber to fix the leaking, but got the reply that the plumber is busy. It took about 3 weeks and we have kept to contact Reece Customer Care but no proper reply.

Rip off
I needed some 25 mm Blue line water pipe 200meter long roll for a new water trough.
Reece $438, I even called a different store to check that price was correct.
How they justify that I have no idea........ Bloody rip off.
Just for comparison.
tradelink $236.70
local irrigation shop $200

Kado 4.5 Lux Cistern Leaking Continuously
Our J G King house was handed over in July 2020 and the Kado 4.5 Lux cistern was part of the selection. The plumber was Reece. Of the two cisterns, one leaked very briefly, but the one in the ensuite has been leaking continuously into the bowl for approximately 3-4 months. The first leak was soon after handover. It stopped leaking on its own after a couple of weeks. In late August it resumed and Reece attended, changing the float valve. In mid-October, the leak resumed and Reece attended, again replacing the float valve in BOTH cisterns, as th...
Read moree other one had leaked briefly. Within a month, the leak in the ensuite cistern resumed. I filled out a fresh aftersales case, which was ignored. I rang a few days later and asked for a new type of solution, such as a replacement, as it is the third float valve. The agent said that his boss made those decisions, but two weeks on, the boss did not reply. As my contract is with JG King, who has not considered this an "emergency", my only choice is to endure this noisy water torture over Christmas before they get around to my case (including other warranty matters).Steve T.South East Queensland, QLD
Don't use unless you're a tradie
Not happy customer. Went to Yatala for a shower bunting. Told to go to Beenleigh store. Get to Beenleigh store and told don't have item. Sold another item only to find out I paid twice the price of the local hardware store price.
I have the feeling that they don't like retail walk-ins and played with me, especially after Beenleigh called Yatala in front of me. Things said and smirks. Happy to stay away.

Posh Domaine CC Rimless Toilet Suite product code 9508004
The toilet seat rocks and there is gap between the seat and pan causing urine to leak. Complained to REECE and they gave two replacement toilet seats but they were also the same. The seat is not sitting evenly both sides. The original seat was chipped in one place and they gave another seat which was worse rocking than the first . So when we complained they gave another seat which is the same. Not very good after sales service from Reece as they had to be chased to get even that far. Toilet is otherwise functional but the design is poor ...
Read moreas the pan is square shape at the front which may be causing the gap and the rocking They never accept it only defending their product all the time. Till today the issue is unresolved and my son unfortunately has to put up with the inconvenience everyday. Paid good price $394. I see that the price has now come down may be they realised the flaw.fredGippsland, VIC
Poor salesman
Went to reece for help expecting them to be knowledgeable on simple sink waste fittings. Had diagrams and still sold the wrong sized product. Was told by salesman he didn't know and to get a plumber. It will be Bunnings from now on.

American standard toilet
Reece own brand that is very poor quality.
Blankets have nothing on this thing.
Has an unbelievable ability to allow Shi*t to stick to it.
Forget the burnouts in the car park... This is like a logging operation.
Full logs seemingly strapped to the bowl.

Nothing but trouble from the get go
I ordered a kitchen tap mixer and was advised that it would arrive on a given date. I called two days after the planned date of arrival to find out what was happening and was advised that the tap mixer hadn’t been ordered. When it finally arrived the plumber recommended by Reece did not install the tap mixer properly and flooded my kitchen. I hired a different plumber but then Reece advised that they would fix it so I cancelled my plumber. I ended up spending $1400 and ended up with a broken tap mixer and to date it has not been fixed. Worst customer experience ever.

Next to nil customer service
Agree with the reviewer of the South Melbourne branch and their poor customer service - also their North Melbourne branch has next to nil customer service. Young snobs running the place, no service manners, asking for help like drawing blood from a stone. First guy no clue the second one a bit more of a clue but both made me feel as more of a burden as a customer than someone they were genuinely interested in going out of their way to help. Not a positive experience in the least. They don't deserve a positive recommendation. You want customers - at least pretend to like them.

Ridiculous pricing
Was a loyal Reece customer since finishing my apprenticeship as they always looked after my previous boss, however after many price rises and poor product quality switched over to tradelink and samios I am now saving 30% on materials every year

not great
I went 3 times to the shop in Greenacre to purchase a product but in the end they could not provide it although the first time I rang they assured me they had it. I found another plumbing supply and they provided the item first time. I don't recommend Reece plumbing.

Sales staff scolded me
Wish I could give 0 star as I got scolded by [name removed] from Reece Armadale when I contacted after the purchase, asking for my tax invoice by items (ATO compliant invoice).
The story was, I made a phone purchase of goods worth nearly $3000. [name removed] was very nice before I made a purchase. After the delivery, I couldn't find a tax invoice in the delivery so I called to request a tax invoice by items. She kept sending me customer orders so I sent her an ATO definition of what tax invoice is. She then sent me the tax invoice with descri...
Read moreption "payment of deposit of customer order", which is not what I've asked for. So I called the store to discussed. She started scolding me over the phone and asked me whether I was aware of how big Reece was and told me that Reece has been using the same accounting system since 1920 (I doubt that) so their invoices could never be wrong.AdamsnelMetropolitan Adelaide, SA

Attrocious customer service, Reece Plumbing, Stepney SA
I just received appalling customer service from one of your stores in Adelaide. I purchased an American Standard Saga sink mixer for $235 from the sales lady [name removed] yesterday to find that it had been fitted previously by a Plumber and returned to the store. The paperwork to show a parts list and breakdown of the tap was not in the box, which notes the paperwork should be left with the customer (if installed by a Plumber) as it featured the parts list in case some are needed. The fittings were in a sandwich bag with part 18 washer missin...
Read moreg as well as the L-wrench which is a hex key to remove the tap handle. I had to explain what this part was as she didn't know. The dress ring was not for this particular unit as it did not fit, but wobbled sideways when the mixer was fitted. I took it back today, having a day off of work to complete the work or we would be without a kitchen tap for three days, and was met with [name removed] who was keen to talk to me until I told her that there was an issue with the tap I was sold the day before. She cut me off short when explaining about the O ring, L-wrench and the misfitting dress ring and walked away, telling me that the instructions are often wrong. She looked at the sandwich bag of parts and said she couldnt see anything that might be wrong but "here is a new one anyway". The instructions are perfectly right in every way. I asked to look at it and she turned to her side and went back to work saying thats ok. I tried to show her the missing O ring washer that was inside the dress ring and she wouldn't even look at me. I left with my first bad experience from Reece. Then after taking it home and successfully fitting the replacement tap, which is a really nice product and simple to fit with basic home tools, I thought I would ring their spare parts and let them know that the O ring washer and L-wrench is missing and the Dress Ring is not for that tap, I met with silence and had to ask if he was there. He said "I'm not following you what did you buy?" I told him again from what was on the side of the box and said that I thought I would ring to let him know what was not correct in the box in case he needed to order in the missing and incorrect parts again before selling it to another customer. He said "don't worry about it we will sort it from this end, I don't have time for this I have people waiting. Goodbye." That was it. I was cut off while just trying to help Reece fix an issue that is theirs, not mine. This is an awful experience for me. Product accessories were incorrect and missing, [name removed] is a rude person to deal with who should not be exposed to customers, and [name removed] (I think) cut me off while I was just trying to help even after my experience with [name removed]. Every business should strive for its point of difference when addressing customers, to give solid, experienced, helpful, heartfelt and honest customer service. I didn't receive this from either department in Reece Plumbing at this location (Nelson Street, Stepney, Adelaide).Find out how Reece compares to other Bathroom Shops

Ignorant staff
I walked in and asked for a replacement laundry tub overflow, although I couldn't supply the brand as I couldn't see it, I had the broken fitting complete with part number. Well the bloke behind the counter just told me as the law states you must have a waste overflow outlet in your floor so what I had could not be from a laundry tub. I then explained that I removed it and it was definately from the laundry tub but he wouldn't have any of that and new better. I left amused at both his lack of knowledge and ignorance of the fact that they can and do in fact have overflows. Got home put the part number in search and drove to Strathpine and picked up the exact fitting, they had 11 in stock. EX Reece customer now.

We have the Kado deluxe basins in our house in the past 4 years all three of them have cracked around the plug hole , what would’ve caused this??

Our house is full of Kado classic stuff unfortunately and we have had a lot of problems with it, the quality is just poor in general it seems.
