Not for me!
Pretty disappointed. I like a good hot blast on my short hair. This does not blast. It doesn't have any guts. The cool shot at the end stays the same temperature. Tried the attachments, they don't help. Unfortunately I gave my Wahl away.
It is lightweight, it is very pretty. It is disappointing. I hope my granddaughter likes it.
A Total Disappointment - Not Recommended
I am in complete agreement with all of the comments made by one of the other reviewers (CherylC). After replacing a powerful GHD Air with this 1800watt unit two days ago, I have to say it is very disappointing. Do not be deceived by the clever design nor the clever marketing: the only exceptional thing about this hairdryer is its unique design, which appears to have been based on the Dyson hairdryer. The Remington Air HD falls far short of the Dyson in all respects. The only positives with this hairdryer are its light weight and it does co...me with five useful attachments. At a retail price of $179.00, I feel the unit is over-priced given its under-performance: the 2 speed motor needs to be switched to 2 (highest speed) to achieve a sufficient airflow and at this speed the motor appears to be straining. After researching across a number of websites that lauded its performance, I made the purchase on-line at Harvey Norman - I note that two days later the price has now dropped to $149.00. I regret this purchase and I recommend you spend a little bit extra on an important appliance and instead purchase a GHD or a Parlux hairdryer which will certainly provide better performance adn achieve better results.

Light and strong
This hair dryer is a much cheaper option to a Dyson. I have found it to be great for power and easy to hold. As it is much shorter than a traditional dryer, it is easier to hold. I especially like the long cord.
Love the style
I totally love this hair dryer. Looking great and dry hair super quick. Well balanced and easy to hold. Make my hair frizz free and shiny in no time. Love all the attachment as well. Good value for my money
An absolute rip off!
This hair dryer cost me $199 at The Good Guys and it is hopeless, and just a gimmick!! I used it for the first time this morning and it is the air flow is so weak that my hair was a horrible fluffy wave, its like one of those cheap dryers you find in a hotel room. I am so annoyed, the $50 VS Sassoon AC-2000 I had that blew up after years was 110% better, I should have purchased it again. Don't waste your money, this is a total rip off.
Not sure exactly how it works, but am very impressed this hairdryer cuts out the frizzy flyaway hair. Fast to use and very comfortable - not heavy to hold. Below shoulder length hair and faster than last two hair dryers. Definitely recommend
