I ordered a Gliderol Garage Door remote from Remote Pro and it didn't arrive in the mail. Contacted Michael the Sales Manager and a replacement arrived within a few days.

Could not have been happier with the customer service, the products delivered and the speed of the delivery. So much so that I was prompted to write this review.
The Order arrived promptly, discretely but firmly packaged to discourage Mail Box theft and, preserve the integrity of the order.
The Instructions, written in suitable large print, were enclosed, clear, concise and user-friendly .
Total time from mail box to open Garage Door: not more than 5 minutes.
So far, a very highly commendable service and product. Given I am 85 years of age, if I can manage this, then 99% of the population will be able to do likewise. A five star recommendation.

Very short life span
I have purchased six (6) of these garage door openers and the best I've got out of one is about 12 months. Two (2)
lasted six (6) months: little canister? on the circuit board breaks off. This product is very easy to bind to your garage
door, but do not last very long.

I easily located a very reasonably priced remote control for our Ford ute on Remote Pro's excellent website. Ordering was easy. Fast despatch meant I had the remote in a few days. Very wide array of remotes but details were clear on what remote was suitable for the garage door model i had (not a standard based on say the Bunnings range of remotes) at a surprisingly decent price and of better quality than the original.
Received it in the time quoted, pressed the button to program and done, Brilliant, no more leaving the car out front to traipse through the b*&*@)y house to open the roller twice a day.

Just About Perfect
Was quoted between $75-95 for my replacement garage remote and then found Remote Pro. Was quoted $15 !!! Of course I ordered 2. No problems in payment, delivery took around a week, I didn’t mind I was in no hurry but the directions need to be a bit more comprehensive. Otherwise great service, great price.

I bought a replacement remote for my Gliderol roller door from remote pro. As I was buying it from their ebay store I rang and spoke to them asking if anyone had had problems using them as I've never programmed a replacement remote before. The man said they'd sold heaps and they seem to work well for customers, but said nothing about having to be EXTREMELY careful accessing the motor, and the instructions that came with the remote say absolutely nothing about this either.
To program the remote you need to open the rollerdoor motor unit and p...ress a button. This was done and the new generic replacement remote appeared to work, but then the original remote didn't. No instructions were given re this, but that had to be programmed too. Both appeared to work when tested once. But the next time nothing worked, not even the original remote that has always worked perfectly - just bought this replacement remote so I had a 2nd one for someone staying with me to use. I couldn't even get the door to roll up by pressing the button on the motor manually - the motor had suddenly died. I rang remote pro and was told when pressing the tiny button to program the remote somehow something else on the motor must have been touched, and this is definitely possible given how crammed in everything in the motor is, despite the fact there was no obvious or deliberate touching of any other item in the motor. So why on earth when I first rang was I not told this, and why don't the instructions CLEARLY outline this CRUCIAL advice?! Outcome: the roller door that has always worked perfectly now has to be replaced, at a cost of well over $800! It seems way too coincidental the door stopped working immediately after trying to program this remote and then the original again, and remote pro agreed - that's why they advised something must have been touched in the motor. The fact there are absolutely NO WARNINGS whatsoever in the instructions or elsewhere this can happen would make one think at the very least an apology was owed, let alone at the very least a refund for the replacement remote that now could not even be used (I agree this remote would work - if the instructions had warned how careful you need to be when accessing the motor unit, but without these warnings the motor is now dead so this remote can't work.) But no - remote pro couldn't have cared less about my situation although I hold them responsible. I now have no working roller door until I can afford the $800+ to replace it (if ever!) because this $10 replacement remote has no adequate instructions as to how careful you have to be programming it, thanks a lot remote pro for putting your customer in this position then not even apologising.

Ordered my genuine remote on a Sunday and order was filled that day. Item was posted on a Monday and received on Friday in country NSW. Free packaging sturdy. The programming instructions are concise and easy to understand. I also viewed video. I recommended it to a local friend who ordered one pronto. I will definitely order again if needed as I have three of the little blighters.

purchased a replacement remote for garage door received it within three days But when I tried erasing the factory code it would not erase the LED would still light saying that the code had not been deleted. I tried a number of times to no avail. Does this mean that maybe the unit could be faulty can you Help?? regards peter
