Renovator Transforma Ladder

Too heavy, so I on sold it on gumtree. Dont know why we bought this from watching TV. Just go to bunnings. The lady I sold it to seemed happy

I rang to find out a price and the guy said how much do you want to spend??? What the ??? I said nothing give it to me for free or just tell me the prices. He then proceeded to ask me how much I want to spend again and I hung up …
Not two seconds later he rang ME. Don’t ever do that your “sales team” ticked me off that much the I’ve discouraged around four people from your product
But he did save me around 500 dollars apparently coz I bought the same thing for 280 bucks THANKS “sales team” at transforma ladder

This ladder was great for the first six weeks then the joints started to warp and the hinge mechanism fell apart. Five times the price of rivals that offer almost identical products that actually work and last.

I tried to email you about concerns and the possibility of bypassing your call center to buy your product but
your email customerreviews@tvshop.co.nz that you give to everyone here to help them after there negative review dose not exist!

Guess you lost another customer

first you start by calling the number on those annoying adds with the guy wearing the ladies shirt and high heeled pointed black boots.
they tell you that they are busy and ask for your number to call you back....first.do not do this.just keep asking for the price.they tell you they dont know and have to have an agent call you back. but eventually they will give it to you.
finally when they give you the price your jaw hits the floor.after the tv add that goes on and on and on forever making it seem like your getting the cheapest deal going...

Was interested in buying this... UNTIL I did some proper research and realised it's just a bad knockoff of the superior (and cheaper) Little Giant Leveler ( Model 22 or 26) - available everywhere with a lifetime warranty.

If you're like most Australians you just want to go into a shop, or go to a website, or at worst, phone a call centre, to buy what you want. You probably already know quite a bit about the product and just want to know the price, how long till you'll get it, maybe a few more details about the product, but you sure as Hell don't want the never-ending sales spiel these well-trained foreign call centre robots have been made to give you before telling you what you really want to know. I got this ladder after I loaned my (straight extension) ladder to a friend and it came back months later rusted and in poor shape. (A lesson in that!)

It’s a great sturdy versatile ladder. It is a little bit harder to move and adjust than the TV ads, but I use it all the time and have no trouble carrying it up and down stairs and putting it in and out of the car and so on. I’ve never used the attachments, though I do have the poster that came with it stuck up in my shed so I guess I could work out how to use them if I wanted to.

I was going to purchase 2 sets of ladders as Christmas gifts for my family. After looking at the reviews I’m going to spend my money somewhere else. Hopefully Bunnings has some better ladders.

Don't bother spending your money on something that will have no back up. The ladder is over weight hard to use and already needs fixing. The back up this company gives is non existent. would not recommend to anyone.

I've owned this system of ladders for almost 12 years. I've used it for everything. Tree and shrub pruning, cleaning out gutters, accessing roofs, internal and external painting. Its very easy to set up so you can very safely work at heights. The ability to set the legs at different levels on uneven ground is fantastic. I used that function plenty of times. Contacted online about price etc, just asked me to call. I asked again about price etc and they closed my online query. They had all my details so could have definitely discussed buying options with me through email. A company that is too shady to even discuss prices through email is a company i will totally avoid.

Geez, after reading these reviews from customers, this ladder is the last thing that I would purchase from these cons from New Zealand. So pleased that I researched this product before buying.
I'm off to Bunnings.

After watching the lengthy advert, I was nearly hooked. Rang the number and all they want are your details. All I wanted to know was the price.
Do yourself a favor and go to bunnings where (a) you can see the price immediately and (b) you can see it, touch it and feel it.
Anything you buy where the sellers are not up front and provide you with all kinds of excuses and nonsense reasons why they don’t give you the price, should be treated with extreme caution.

Very dissatisfied. I used my renovator all of 4 times & one of the blue locking mechanism ceased up & would not open. After providing the mandatory video to the support/customer care, they sent me a used component which was wrong, they then sent me another used scratched up component. Both came with no instructions and just the part. At no point did they offer a replacement & no local service options. I’m a single female and don’t have the knowledge on how to fix the ladder. So my ladder has been unusable after 4 uses. It’s an expensive ladder, and follow up service is shocking! Wished I had just bought a ladder from Bunnings, they probably would have replaced a faulty ladder or given a refund. I recommend not to buy!
