Renovator Transforma Ladder

I brought one for my hubby when they 1st came out many many years ago and it is still going strong so it surprises me to read those u favourable reviews.

Was interested in buying this... UNTIL I did some proper research and realised it's just a bad knockoff of the superior (and cheaper) Little Giant Leveler ( Model 22 or 26) - available everywhere with a lifetime warranty.

I got this ladder after I loaned my (straight extension) ladder to a friend and it came back months later rusted and in poor shape. (A lesson in that!)

It’s a great sturdy versatile ladder. It is a little bit harder to move and adjust than the TV ads, but I use it all the time and have no trouble carrying it up and down stairs and putting it in and out of the car and so on. I’ve never used the attachments, though I do have the poster that came with it stuck up in my shed so I guess I could work out how to use them if I wanted to.

I am a carpenter/builder, and have had this ladder for ten years plus.
Best ladder I’ve ever owned and I started in the building industry 48 years ago.
You won’t get a more stable ladder, and I even use it as a trestle to support a plank for numerous situations, not supposed to use ladders as trestles).
The adjustable levelling leg extension works really well,the stand off brackets, and the push-out platforms make tedious work at heights so much easier.

I've owned this system of ladders for almost 12 years. I've used it for everything. Tree and shrub pruning, cleaning out gutters, accessing roofs, internal and external painting. Its very easy to set up so you can very safely work at heights. The ability to set the legs at different levels on uneven ground is fantastic. I used that function plenty of times. It was so sturdy when my husband used it to paint our bedroom. I loved the work platform. The ladder did more than fix my house.... it saved my marriage.

Was prepared to buy ladder as hubby is currently working on stairs and ladder would come in handy. Tried to purchase online, nope can’t do that, called, and low and behold as previous reviews stated, they are busy and someone will call back. Must not be confident in product, to try such sales tactics, I’ll try bunnings instead.

All the blue plastic part have get brittle and break and chip of as well as faded looking etc
The ladder itself still is fine and is a reasonable product but is a bit of an embarrassment to look at

Although a little heavy to lift, the transforma ladder is fantastic. No damaging gutters, work platforms that are very comfortable to work from. The rungs could be a little wider. Very happy with this product.

I purchased a Transforma ladder TRL35 with a two for one deal ($850 for two) in May 2015 (my son got the other one for Xmas!).
I have used it consistently since that time and for the last 3 months, almost every day while I carried out repair, repainting and general maintenance tasks around the outside of my single storey house.
It is the perfect compromise for any homeowner, compared to owning a variety of ladders for different purposes. It is a little heavier than a single purpose ladder, but this is more than offset by its multi function use...

This ladder is a sturdy and reliable asset to my profession. Easy to carry and fit into the Ute and simple to use ... especially for jobs with tricky angles, stairs and shuttering.

Pruning a bushy pittisporum tree that lets the warm winter sun stream through the window and blocks the searing ray's during summer and climb up to the roof to wash and clear the spouting is great not have to ak the man of the house to be told yeah later I can do it my time when I want and is feels great, it's quite an achievement to do it myself.

This ladder appears to be very well made, but it is EXTREMELY heavy and very very difficult to move around. Very very unstable when using the scaffolding feature ... dangerously wobbly.
