If you love your pet do not use Revolutions flea control
If you love your pet Please stay clear of Revolution Flea and Heartworm medication..... Revolution has deem safe their flea meds for puppies under 5 lbs and 6 weeks of age ..... This is not safe My little 6 week old Yorkie was given the flea control prescribed By a vet and suffered seizures 15 mins later. The flea control has changed my playful puppy into just a shell of herself . She was throwing up , leaning against walls just to walk and suffered 10 more seizure all within 4 days. She no long ate or drank I had to feed her through a syringe ...and gave her Dextrose every 8 hrs just to keep her blood sugar up. I took her to several vets and because Revolution adsorbs so fast into their systems there was nothing that could be done to save her the damage was already done. My little Baby Girl Yorkie Died 4 days later .... My Vet only words were Revolution is safe because the company deems it safe and he said I am so sorry she was just one of the unlucky ones...... I will not except that as an excuse I have spent 2,000 on my baby Girl Yorkie between adoption fees and vet bills . I wan this company to pay .. They killed my baby Girl Yorkie and I will never have her back.. These companies are all about the money they do not care about what these products to Pets.........

Near death experience
Our Irish terrier was given a dose of the brown Revolution treatment, a smaller dose than recommended for his weight, to the back of his neck on Sunday afternoon and was fine until Tuesday morning when he could not raise his head from the bed. He could barely open his eyes. He was lethargic to the extreme. He could not focus and his eyes were lifeless. He would not eat or drink. My son watched him stand very awkwardly and stare blankly at the wall ahead of him for almost an hour before he took him to the vet. He could stand up but not move his...rear quarters, just rotate the front half of his body. The vet did a full blood screen but found nothing outstanding. When I picked him up after work at 4pm he did not react to my arrival and did not get up, only just opening his eyes. We thought we were bringing him home to die. For the next 3 days he has only lain on his bed. He has had difficulty locating the chicken we have been giving him. He will not drink water, only milk. We are seeing a gradual improvement but he is still a very sick dog. I have never given him Revolution before. I cannot believe I have inadvertently caused my dearest friend so much harm. I will never be using this product again. It is terrible to see such a charismatic and lively animal reduced to this state.

Does not kill flees
We rescued a new pet dog (cavslier king charles) and took straight to vet first thing that am for check over. They recommend revolution. We then took him to a grooming palour midday to be groomed. That night well after he had been washed and was dry we applied zoetis revolution. 5 days later he is badly infected with flees. Every thing that he is sleeping on and in was new the following day after being treated. We are totally upset and have to purchase another product tomorrow when shops open. We had no old bedding, anything as no other pets and every thing new. No excuses, nothing came with him, new bedding, new kennel, bowls ext. Rubbish product.
It works for us
Alot of people are not educated properly on administering worming and flea treatments. If your dogs has fleas i recommend using capstar first to kill the adult fleas then use revolution. You should bomb your house and wash everything with a few drops of lavender oil or eucalyptus oil. Spray dogs bed with a spritzer with either of these oils as well. Do not use revolution after your dog has had a bath as in so dog is clean they neet to be between washes (advice given to me by a vet) Revolution i find is great for maintaining a flea free and he...artworm free pooch. Been a revolution user for 9 years have used in my 2 poodles and have used on dogs i have rescued and rehomed. Zero issues on any of them. My 2 poodles have never had flees on them ever
Worked for my dogs
My three dogs picked up fleas at either the vet or the groomer, I think, as they had not been anywhere else with other animals. They had never had fleas in 15 years. I have now used Revolution for the third month and I think we are winning. Not as fast as I would have liked, and certainly not after one application, but only one dog had any evidence of fleas a couple of days ago, and they now appear to be dead. I was absolutely desperate as we have carpets and dog pillows and rugs all over the house. And then there is the car. And the beds. So m...uch washing (dogs and cushion covers) and vacuuming. But my three girls are not itching any more, thank goodness, so I think the Revolution is working. No noticeable side effects on any of my dogs - and they are very senior animals, ranging from 12-16, not in great health (between them they have Cushings disease (2 of them), arthritis (2 of them), heart murmurs, dementia, blindness and deafness). Will continue with Revolution even though the cost is exorbitant.
Fleas have now appeared
Previously used comfirtis, which was terrific! That was out of stock and recommendation for revolution was given. Applied it to 5 dogs. Two are small indoor mini dachshunds and 3 are outdoor large dogs. All of my dogs now have fleas. I am supplementing with capstar till the comfortis comes in. Wont use this again, wont recommend to anyone.
Caused extreme side effects
Switched to Revolution due to cost effectiveness and should not have been focused on cost. Administered Revolution on my small poodle and two days later had a very sick dog. He exhibited signs of lethargy, was disoriented, could hardly walk, had a fever, and yelped in pain when touched. After a couple days, some antibiotics and pain meds later, he is back to normal. I would not recommend switching to Revolution if you have been using a different topical that works without side effects. I switched due to cost effectiveness but spent more on vet bills due to the side effects than over 2 years worth of the product.
So far so good but need time to prove
I used twice, once a month for my four months old poodle.
She has no flea but I found mild ear mite problem recently. Not sure if it is really ear mite.
I will continue to try the product because it provide protection against heartworm which other products cannot.
Revolution for dogs
After 2 weeks my Maltese had more fleas than ever. Same thing happened with Frontline.
Strange thing is I manually killed at least 30 fleas and none of them contained blood, so maybe they are just living on him, either way it is not helping us and he still scratches as they crawl all over him.
A friend told me his vet said that the fleas are becoming immune to these products.
I have heard adding garlic to their food works. I will give it a go, I'm sure it is much safer.
It killed most fleas, but not all
I got my 2 month old toy poodle a few days ago, but the night that I got him, my boyfriend and I noticed a couple fleas around his head. This scared me because I have another 12 year old pomshi that has never had any fleas in her entire life. I brought my toy poodle puppy to the vet the very next morning and the vet found the fleas on his head and around his butt area. The vet applied Resolution behind his neck and he said it was safe to give my puppy a bath after 24 hours. That night, we noticed a few dead fleas falling off his body and onto t...he ground. I also started vacuuming our entire condo (couches, bed, carpets) and spraying with Siphotrol to be safe. The next day, I brushed his body with a flea comb to get rid of the dead fleas and also the flea dirt. I also found around 3-4 live fleas while combing through his body, which I would kill right away. Once I saw no more flea dirt or fleas coming off his body, I washed his body with Dawn dish soap and let it lather for 10 minutes, rinsed it off then used a puppy shampoo (Burtsbee's puppy 2 in1 shampoo and conditioner) and let that lather for 10 minutes. After rinsing, I blow dried him and only found 1 flea left on his body, but it was dead. I combed through his body again, no fleas or flea dirt was found. Overall, I found that this product worked and killed most of the fleas by the next day and I have not found a flea since! I am hoping that they do not come back after this and I will going back to the vet for another reapplication of Resolution when the month is up.
It does what it claims but not worth the risk
I only used this product on one of my three dogs occasionally because she gets mites on her back & this actually got rid of them. After extensive research on the damage caused by all toxic, poisonous flea products I no longer use any of them. To the animal advocate posting on here the Australian Veterinary Association recommends vaccinating only every 3yrs NOT YEARLY & has done so for many years. Injecting your dog with unnecessary poison is not good for them. It sounds as though you need a good vet.
It works, reasonable price online
Potential side effects but haven't seen any
I have been using this product on my poodle for 8 years from a puppy, and have never seen a flea or flea dirt on my dog ever, does not seem to have any side effects and so easy to apply as my dog is not food motivated. Expensive but for a pet lover with an indoor pet, no question about not using it, it is a must.
My poor dog!
I put revolution on my dog on 9/12/13 she has had fleas the whole time! She is a 15lb dog. I called my vet two weeks after I put it on her and they told me that my House had to me infested and it can take time to get rid of them!! And the fleas will bite my dog then die. She has huge adult fleas! A lot of them. I haven't seen any on the other 3 animals I have not they do itch! This poor little dog has sores all over her! I would not recommend this product! We have used other flea prevention that has worked! This just sucks and my dog is suffering!
IT DOESNT WORK
Wont buy it again
I have just purchased revolution for my dog. I got the Revolution Brown for my dog he weights 6kg and is clipped short so I know im getting it on his skin on the back of his neck. I have used it before for 3 month with the same non woking affect thinking it must have been a bad batch before switching him to comfortis and when that was finished I got this lot of Revolution hoping it would work. I must say I am very disappointed in the product and I will not be buying it again as it has no effect in killing the fleas at all.
it does not work, Its expensive,
