Eye liner caused adverse reaction.Metallic on Trend, but not this product
I love gold liquid eyeliner as it brings out the green in my eyes so I was very excited to buy Rimmel Ink Me Eye and Body liner Gold Glam (owned by Coty Inc) as I could no longer buy NYX Professional makeup Glam Liner Aqua Luxe gold in Australia. NYX discontinued this product in Australia well over a year ago. NYX (aka) L'Oréal, please bring back the Aqua Luxe liquid eyeliner range to Australia. The particular range is still sold in the UK and USA but not Australia. Gold has made a comeback and is one of the biggest makeup trends. Think Fenty T...
Read morerophy Wife, Two Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow palette. Gold has also been seen in the Fall 2018 runway shows. Its so disappointing that Kat Von D discontinued the amazing Metallic gold Lighting Liner. This product was the Queen of Metallic Liners just as YSL Baby Doll Eyeliners were the Queen of the most majestic highly pigmented colour range I have ever used (discontinued except Noir). I applied Rimmel Ink Me Glam Eye Liner and my eyes became irritated, stung my eyes and they started watering. My conclusion, something in the product caused an allergic reaction. Aside from the allergic reaction to this product, this liner does not glide on well, is not pigmented and most certainly is not effective as a ‘temporary tattoo’ for either the eye or body. I emailed Rimmel as Rimmel do not have a contact number or live chat in Australia. In the digital age one expects live chat. Coty’s US$ revenue (profit) for 2017 was 7.65 billion. I informed Rimmel that this product caused an adverse reaction. Rimmel sent an email asking me to send a photo of the product and the receipt which I did. Clearly this company has no interest in hearing about adverse reactions to their products nor could they be bothered following up with a customer, nor appear to have a return or refund policy. Fashionistas, if you are looking for a liquid eyeliner stay clear of this product. Perhaps not everyone will end up with an allergic reaction from this product, but I used this product once and this was enough to cause a reaction not only to my eyes but shocked by the overall poor customer service of Rimmel.Questions & Answers
