Just hold down the - button for like 7 seconds and it’ll go off. It runs so many hours and comes on to remind owner to clean it.

Are there certain essential oils you can’t use? We had residue crystallize on the basin and can’t get it off after using cinnamon essential oil. Today I was using my vacuum and all of the sudden I started seeing water on the floor. Cleaned it up after pouring out the rest of the water. Found the basin had cracked like a rock the hit a windshield but much of it could be felt only on the inside of the basin. But there was a large enough crack all the way through to lose water pretty quickly. I am very careful with my R2. Have only had it for 6 months and paying $3000 for one for the safety of my family during COVID but with no job, I’m very disappointed at why it would crack. It has no been dropped, stepped on, or anything. I had vacuumed three rooms, emptied the basin, put clean water and essential oils in, the next thing I knew I was cleaning water up off the floor. Sorry for such a long explanation/question

Did you try to warranty it? Did anyone else use it that may have dropped it? Or maybe they moved it to get to something else in the closet and damaged it? Like a windsheild or any other plastic part, it would take some sort of impact to break. If your positive it wasn't damaged then get it warrantied. Have you reached out to the salesperson (1st choice) or the warranty department (2nd choice)?

You should have a warranty for that ..they could replace it into new one..

They replaced my basin. About a month ago, my tank started leaking a little. Here we go again. I have always taken good care of my machine. When I washed the basin, I noticed it looked like the plastic was crystalizing in the seam all the way around. I contacted them. Their hours are Monday through Friday 10AM to 2PM. Not convenient for people who actually have full-time jobs. Yesterday I had to contact them again because I am unable to use it at all at this point. They basically accused me of “abusing” my machine. Right. After paying $2500 +, I don’t think so! Yesterday, I tried vacuuming because we are putting our house up for sale and I’ve been trying to pack, go through stuff, and clean. I put water in the basin and it started leaking, much more than just a drip. I was told they rarely have any complaints. They chastised me for waiting to call until we were putting our house on the market and that they wouldn’t be sending any items out for service until the 19th. After letting them know I did not appreciate the customer service I was being given. Finally, I was informed they had a person “admit” they used essential oils in their machine. I informed her when we bought the machine, we specifically asked if essential oils could be used. We were assured it was fine. The customer service person said you can use it in the purifier but not the Ritello. She said the alcohol in essential oils eats the plastic in the seams and makes it crystalize and leak.
There you go!!!! Having to drive an hour to exchange the basin for a new one. Have to bring it back later for the loose hose.
Heads up!!! Don’t use essential oils in the Ritello vacuum. Even if the salesperson says it’s ok.

I have the R2 machine and after a few weeks it stopped sucking anything. It has 1/10 the sucking power of a bag less Bosch vacuum cleaner.

How can I get it to work properly?
