Amazing!
The Roborock is THE BEST purchase I have ever made. I love coming home from work to a clean house. I’ve set a schedule to clean the main living areas every day. I have 4 indoor cats and I was having to vacuum every 2nd day with how much fur they lose.
I was totally amazed at how well it mapped the entire house. The second clean of the house it added 2 bedrooms that had closed doors in the first initial clean. So easy!
I have a mix of tiled and carpeted rooms and it does both with ease. I am yet to use the mopping feature but if the vacuuming is done so well I imagine that the mopping will be just as good.
I was at the point of hiring a cleaner to come once a week but I don’t see the need for one anymore. I haven’t stopped raving about it since I got it and now friends are asking for my opinion of the Roborock. “Rosario Roborock” is my new favorite child.
The app is simple to use. Merging or dividing different areas of the house is a fantastic feature and being able to select which rooms to clean is awesome.

Needs constant babysitting - therefore pointless
We bought this vacuum to try and make our lives easier and save time. So far neither of those objectives has been achieved. On the plus side the suction is okay and I like the concept of the app. It's just a shame that the mapping is rubbish and I have to babysit the vacuum every time we use it.
The biggest issue is that the vacuum gets confused by mirrors and windows. We have quite a few sliding glass doors and the vacuum doesn't understand that these are a hard barrier and tries perpetually to find a way to get behind them because it thinks it needs to vacuum in this magic mystery space. We also have mirrored sliding doors on the wardrobes and it cannot understand these either. This means that it cannot map the house properly and therefore goes into a constant cycle of going from room to room trying to get 'behind' the glass and mirrors. For example, if I set it to vacuum my daughter's bedroom it does that and once it bumps the mirrored robe door it then goes to my son's bedroom (on the other side of the mirrored robes) to try and get into my daughter's robe from the other side. When it realises it can't get there it then returns to the first bedroom and tries again. And so continues to do this in an endless loop until the battery runs out. The same with all of the glass sliding doors in our lounge, dining room, master bedroom - you get the picture. So I basically have to babysit the vacuum cleaner in every job that it does which is highly annoying when it was meant to be a time saving device.
I've tried zoning the house into rooms but the mapping - which they describe as being at 'beta stage' is very fiddly and even with rooms defined, no-go zones and invisible walls set up linke a crazy labyrinth the vacuum can't be trusted to just vacuum and go back to base. For $700 I expect the app not to be in the 'beta stage' - I expect it to work. And for $700 I expect to be able to tell the vacuum to do something and to be able to leave it safe in the knowledge that it will do the simple task of vacuuming a room and returning to base.
Right now we are better off just manually vacuuming using our old $100 vacuum cleaner and using the $700 Roborock as a very expensive piece of artwork mounted on the wall.

dissapointed
at first thought it was wonderful until 6mths in it wouldnt charge. It was sent back twice under warranty and fixed 1yr 2wks after purchasing it , its not charging. I've been told its out of the warranty period. the vacuum has done little work as it only vacuumed a small area on tiles a few times a week.

Never even got it
Customer service is terrible, trying to organize delivery of my vacuum for over a month. Trying to contact them takes at least a week and is hard to make any process no one answers emails

Setup was super easy to connect to app after I realised that with my VPN connected it wasn’t going to happen.
Turned off my VPN, connection was immediate.
Charged up the Vac then let it map the house, so easy. Vac setup rooms that could be individually identified & cleaned as required.
Was a little concerned about how Robot cleaner would handle vac, mop our new floor covering & how it would handle pet hair etc.

Wrong Filter and Roborock has not organised a Refund
The Roborock website mentioned the filter is for S6 however it was the wrong filter when purchased.
I have sent several e-mails to Customer Service <customerservice@roborockstore.com.au> and they have not come back to me with a solution. I have requested initially that I would return the filter back to them and they can deliver the right filter to me. However now I am requesting them to provide a full refund as I have purchased the filters elsewhere due to the long wait. The customer service in Roborock has been appalling and really very poor.

Ordered the S7- works well - schedules, maps, etc. Wife disappointed with mop as it gets dirty really quick - and I don't have spares - yet!!!
Have been trying to order mop pads etc ever since August 2022 - always out of stock. Emailed company a few times - get a reply advising I subscribe to their newsletter for upcoming deals. How does that help?????

Do not buy doesn’t move on carpet
The mopping is very surface based leaves marks behind doesn’t really clean and the vacuuming is limited to floors that are not carpeted as mine gets stuck when trying to move on to the carpet which ended up ripping the rubber sweeper! Can't live without it!
I have a large open plan house with timber floors through and this completes the task well. This is no mean fete since I also have 3 dogs, 2 kids and a husband. So much activity means I have to vacuum daily, this machine copes well with the task plus means I can get on with other things.

I love this Roborock for timber floors. Cleans beautifully. Tried the mopping function but don’t feel it’s that good for mopping. Vacuuming on hard floors on the other hand, it’s brilliant.

I was very excited to receive my Roborock S6 Pure.. the first 2 weeks was great but just after 2 weeks, the Roborock could not find the charging dock and kept getting ‘lost’ in the house. I followed the rebooting instructions and it’s better but still gets confused with finding the charging dock. The mopping is not great I have to go over all the time. The vacuum is great though!

My Roborock doesn't want to work when I have the mopping equipment. It only works without this part, that is, it is only vacuuming the house. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

How do you remove/refit the main wheel on the S6 pure. I have found YouTube video for S5 and S6 etc but they appear to be different in regards to mounting of main wheel on S6 pure
