Rover Cobra 52" zero turn- more than happy – Had my mower for 5 1/2 years and have done 200 hours on a 3 1/2 acre property. Cost less than $8,000. Built like a brick outhouse i.e. very strong. job done in no time. One thing though, it doesn't like side way hills. Even a small dip like near my dam and it just goes sideways. I'm happy I have it. I've always had Briggs engines but this Kawasaki engine seems great.

A great Machine! – I purchased this mower a few years ago and I have got to say it has never let me down. Not happy that MTD now own Rover because they stopped making the blades, I now buy new blades at a third of the cost online anyway. It's a solid machine and has been great for my lawn mowing rounds. I've made a tonne of money with it. It also powers through higher grass and has a VERY responsive hydraulic system.

of such a strong motor and regular cutting maintenance programme. Good strong motor,robust deck,rollover bar protection,good vision. Dont need to run motor at full revs to cut grass,therefore lower cutting speed and engine noise. Slow starter motor or weak battery cranking , has been since new!Will replace with stronger battery when old one dies.Low whining noise from drive system when operating at slow speeds/revs.

Hopeless and rover should be ashamed! – Recently bought a rover zero turn mower and I am still stunned at what a mower it is. Looks good but doesn't cut lawn, just rips it up in strips! My lawns are ruined! There were parts missing and rover told us they were on a plane, a very slow plane, nothing takes 6 weeks to fly anywhere. of the cut! Yesterday we were told if it starts it's not there problem! They are a bunch of lying rip off merchants! They are rude and it would appear there are no parts in Australia! The WA rep is an absolute joke, he lies at will, abuses people! $7300 down the drain! Except for one thing the mower was not supplied as stated in the contract and they refuse to make good on the contract so my solicitor has given me a good idea of where they can stick the useless piece rubbish! Do not buy rover they and the machines they supply are rubbish!

Excellent – First class mower and at the special price of $7500 reduced from $13950 is an absolute steal! I would recommend you get one while you can. Very rugged mower. This is my 5th mower and beats the others handsdown! Kawasaki 23hp motor is smooth and powerfull. Very clean cutting 52" deck which will mow anything thrown at it. Control levers a little to high for comfort.
