dont bother joining way to expensive for the stamps and if you suspend your payments for a little while and put your a/c on hold they will send you messages that someone has sent you a kiss so you respond to that but no further communication from that so called person they are just trying to get you to buy more stamps. i think its a pretty disgusting practice when they are playing with peoples emotions.
Women won't pay $5 to start a conversation..
Why with the power women have today and high paying jobs you can't fork out $5 for a stamp when you are the ones approaching me, I have no trouble paying if I am the one approaching you. You have screamed for equality but when it comes to money you want to play the old card...
Was good 15 years ago, not so now - no new members in a loooong time.
Over the last 5 years, women on the NSW Central Coast on the site have not changed, nor has the number. These are , dare I say it, old stock. Site did have a good turnover years ago, but not now. Why would someone remain on the SAME site for 5 years ? ...and I know these people aren't fake as I've done done coffee a few times with a few of them.
RSVP pre 2005 was good, now it's crap, as well as expensive.
Would not recommend.
On the plus side, they don't charge to see photos like eharmony do, nor do they have a ridiculous number of questions to go through like POV.
So called Dating Sites its all fake
I have tested most of them with FAKE profile NO photo and didn't spent a cent.
You will most likely be COMMUNICATING with a STAFF member then a paid up member so my advise is KEEP your money its a waste of time.
It is all about computer circulating photos from all around the world.
It is what it is. A dating platform filled with promise. Unfortunately I think you need to be very confident when using a dating site and I am unfortunately not. Lots of married men sadly, players, I think it would work if you are confident and in a good headspace who has the time and patience to sort through the nonsense. Not for me.
A warning to anyone who is not that confident any online dating site can be depressing and confidence destroying
WAY. TOO. EXPENSIVE
I have been on this site forever but the stamps are too expensive!
Why don’t you lower the cost so that we can initiate more contact with potential partners?
For instance, you could charge the same minimum amount for 10 stamps or 3! What’s the difference to you? It’s not like you are selling real stamps, is it?
I just think it’s not competitive anymore with the likes of Blendr, et al. where contact is FREE. Especially as things can often go awry in the first few messages. It’s money down the drain!
Same Typical Suspect Pattern
Yes, I have met some ladies on RSVP in my time.
Rarely did anything develop.
Yes I've met a few real bad ones that flake when it comes to showing up for a date, wont answer their phones or messages and vanish less than 10 minutes into the date.
I take full responsibility as they are some of the risks associated with internet dating and dating in general.
No, I'm hardly catch of the year, however I'd like to live with a little dignity.
I think everyone owes themselves that much.
Definitely not the fault of the RSVP site.
That's not why I...
Do not believe the negatives
I have tried a number of dating sites (elite singles, eharmony and pof) and RSVP is the only one that is truly genuine. I have met up with several members from the site and they have all been what they described in their profiles. I have met people for everything from a single meeting (things just didn't work out) up to a longer term relationship (9 months) and many things in between. A friend of mine met his wife on RSVP. And while what people write in their profiles is not up to the site, the fact that the people are genuine shows the site is...also genuine. Of course you have to be prepared for a lot of knock backs, but again that is nothing to do with the site. To summarise, this site is not bogus or a ripoff and is by far the best online dating site that I have found.

RSVP - Ripoff Susceptible Vulnerable People
they are a total joke nothing but scammers either profiles that don't exist or robots that reply to you once and then get taken offline - except they state - NO LONGER A MEMBER OF RSVP OR MEMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED BY RSVP - it is a total joke and hopefully this might stop other genuine people from falling into the trap of this joke of a site

Scam alert! Spammed by user who was removed, but in replying to the spammer it used stamps
Scam alert! Spammed by user who was removed, but in replying to the spammer before they were banned, it used stamps which rsvp would not replace when I kindly asked them to they would not look into it and just wanted to make it too hard, they only allow 3 contacts for $56 and one of these was the spammer! Then they charged my card a further $56 to renew I fought it through my bank and won! This is a scam site! Rsvp advertise on google as a christian dating site which is deception. Then they keep sending me loads of promotion emails so I demanded they remove me and all data associated with my account! Worst dating site ever do not waste your money!
Way too expensive and for what?
I joined the basic plan and paid $80 odd dollars for 6 months - you'd think that be enough to start a conversation with someone within this dating site BUT in order to actually chat I now am asked to PAY more to connect to men who find me approachable. WHAT? and WHY ? A complete scam. Do not join!
I wish I read these review before handing over my money!
Went onto this site and paid good money for lots of stamps. Their policy said if you don’t get a reply to “kisses” after a certain amount of days we’ll refund to you .....doesn’t happen !
I think an organisation like ASIC needs to have a look at their business model and how they’re treating consumers.
I don't recommend RSVP I recently rejoined and it had many of the same photos as it did ten years ago. It seems odd that genuine profiles would not be updated. I wasted my stamps as whilst the profiles seemed like the guys were looking for genuine relationships all they did was ask for flesh. I did not meet up with any of them. Also you get time and money wasters who let you use your stamps on them when they have no interest at all to keep themselves in the top 100. The site is just scammers and sleeze. I used a prepaid credit card to buy my stamps so I can't review on the level of honesty when it comes to debits.
Dont waste your money guys!
Don't waste your time and MONEY!! Same people are on Tinder,Oasis and other free sites. Don't pay $5 just to send an email that will never be answered or attention seekers looking for their weekly fix! (who would never buy a stamp or could be a false profile).
RSVP is owned by media giant Fairfax and its all about $$$.
Take your time and read the following reviews and if that doesn't convince you "NOT" to join, you are most likely one of those fools who sends money to a Nigerian lover!!
June 16th 2018 Update: RSVP doesn’t refund unanswered...paid emails and plenty of "FAKE" profiles. I purchased the 24 stamp deal, had about 4 responses from ladies asking to make contact and the other ladies who asked for an email never even responded. Contacted rsvp support team and all you get is a generic response from some dude called [name removed]. So pretty much a waste of time and defiantly money. Their terms of conditions are misleading and to their advantage, so you will never get a refunded stamp! Its just an all out money grab by big business.
Like begging for acknowledgment of your own existence
I've been on RSVP for years, I've tried my best to upload good photos and show my inner self, my compassionate side, however unlike in real life where I can enter a room and engage in conversation with a stranger and have a generally good experience - with RSVP I have spent years trying to get a simple reply to my first paid response, I get the feeling people are not serious or are unaware at least that the first recipricated positive response is means for a third response which is a PAID first personalised message...
I have found that when ...I get a positive response to me making first paid contact nothing will happen, ignorance by no response, now I'm not doing anything more than making general greetings and remarks about the profile yet I have found I get no reply, like I bought a girl a drink in a bar only for her to walk away with it without a word (something that has never happened to me in a real life situation nor would I expect) if I am doing it wrong let me know but I am sure I have not been rude, but the lack of response burns as this seems to only happen to me on a paid site. I would like to see RSVP send messages to the other party based on their failure to respond as an education that someone has just paid to continue/start the conversation you indicated you wanted. Be sure to make clear that a party has paid to continue based on your response, this is not supposed to be a throw away dating site, money and genuine interest is inferred. I will no longer pay once I have wasted my stamps on unconscious interactions and have not and will not recommend this site to anyone ever, find a social gathering group and get out then you will meet many people for free who won't disrespect you before you even had a chance to talk. Also the app is faulty and the real time chat does not work properly, I have waited for a response only to find when I manually entered the app I missed a reply by hours. Major fail. And there are weird issues with characters between the mobile and desktop platform (upside down question marks instead of emojis I recall)
Be aware that RSVP might well keep taking your money after your 'one off' payment!
Because RSVP is a large company making a huge profit I expected this site to be professional and safe. I have went back on this site after 10 years and noticed several pics on active profiles that were from 10!!! Years ago. I met a couple of nice guys but found it offensive that they encourage people to send a $15 message instead of a free kiss asking the other party if they would be interested in receiving a message. After numerous unwelcome messages I left the site after only 3 weeks and with 3 unused stamps. RSVP kept charging my account as if I had agreed to a membership...even though I had bought a one off offer and gad terminated my account.
Suspended my account for no reason
Rsvp suspended my account. I wasn’t aware of this until I tried to log in.
I contacted support and they told me via email that my account was suspended and in order to activate it I had to provide my drivers license or my passport. I’m not willing to do either as there’s too much personal information on there, ie address. They won’t give me a reason why only to say it’s written in the terms and conditions.
I’ve always been polite and responded to kisses and emails, have put up recent photos etc. so do not understand what they are doing and th...
Questions & Answers
If I am "taking a break' but still looking at profiles, can the owners of those profiles see that I have clicked on them at that time or when I resume being active? And does them being a PREMIERE member make a difference to this question?
I do not want to continue to be a rsvp member. How can I discontinue it?
