Rufus & Coco Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter
Normally non-fussy cat hates it - very bad smell
I have tried clay and silica litters, and decided to try this one as it is marketed to be a more sustainable organic option.
I've had many issues since switching - I often find pellets tracked outside of the box, and my cat has been reluctant to use it (I've gradually switched over by mixing it in with her old litter). Worst of all is the smell - we scoop twice a day, and the ammonia smell persists throughout the entire house.
For a product that costs up to 5x as much as clay litter, this does not last as long as I had hoped as it requires so much scooping to keep the smell at bay.
Purchased in for $25.

Formula has changed - no longer clumps like it used to
I have been using this litter exclusively for almost 5 years and it seems that the formula has changed recently. When I first started using the litter, the clumping ability and lifespan of the litter was second to none. My cat's wees would clump well and were able to be flushed, meaning that the litter box didn't smell for weeks! Guests would come over and comment that our house didn't smell like we had cats. Now the clumping is awful as it breaks apart, leaving small balls of urine soaked litter that fall through the scoop. This means that the...
Read more litter box that stinks the house out and needs to be changed after less than a week. The litter is also very dusty like others have said, and always has been in my opinion. I was able to look past this due to the clumping ability and lifespan that the litter used to have, but I can see why some may be concerned over this. The litter is also very bad for tracking. I would often find the little pellets upstairs, at the opposite end of the house! Again, I was able to look past this due to the positives that the litter used to offer, but this is definitely worth mentioning. I have just purchased another brand of eco-friendly clumping litter online, so hopefully this will be much better than what the Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter has become.- Value for Money

Read mored have hoped or expected. Given the very soft and highly absorbent nature of the pellets some dusty on first pour is to be expected but certainly to the extent you are describing combined with the main issue which is lack of clumping is definitely sounding as though you have received a faulty batch of product for which we are very sorry. This is purrfect my cat prefers this litter and i love that its flushable will buy again
I love this product for it is so easy to dispose of although my cat does get it around the house but i do notice how tge odours isnt so strong
