Not worth the value

Paid $139 at Bunnings. It failed miserably with very poor battery life and the blade simply won’t engaged properly. This was straight out from the box on the first go despite a full 4 hrs charge. Simply terrible

Purchased in November 2019 at Bunnings Warehouse for $139.00.

Ryobi massive fail

complete piece of junk. Can barely cut a branch of 2cm thickness. Says it can cut 9cm. No chance. There should be a law against such lies. Bunnings must know this as they discounted it heavily. Is that what Bunnings does when they know they have a dud product - just rip customer off less?

Not fit for purpose

I purchased the item for $149 at Bunnings. First use blade locked out and saw would not operate very well. Would not cut green wood without cutting out. These were only small less than 10mm branches. Poor item. Returned got refund.

Regrettably not one of Ryobis finest

This item has a lot of promise but does not live up to it Supposedly it can prune 90mm branches. However you'd be very lucky to cut such a branch. The blade is not a pruning saw, it is the kind of thing you'd find in a jigsaw. Very small teeth. No ripping power for green wood. Plus the battery has very little capacity. When I took this up with Ryobi they told me it was intended for small dry dead twigs. Lucky I've got a petrol powered chainsaw on a pole..!! Disappointing..
