AU8000 Series

Is it worth buying it? I was planning to buy the TU8000 until this suddenly showed up. Is there much difference? especially for gaming?

P.S: The reason I wanted to buy the TU8000 is for my PS5.
Thank you!

Hi Ben
I've had a chat with some guys at JB Hifi and they seemed very helpful, I recommend that you catch up with them too

for gaming, as long as the TV is 100 Hz, it's good but apparently the TU series were not perfect for gaming, but Samsung has tried to improve it in AU series this year
so definitely go for AU compared to TU
but in general, and particularly about PS5, AU series are not the best option especially if you watch sports or action movies and play actions games which require super fast response from your TV, but still does the job

FYI: I'm still thinking of AU series, QLED's and even LG OLED's

This series of TV is considered a budget/entry level TV. It will support most of your needs for gaming, movies and streaming but it won't have access to the top of the line features like 120fps gaming. It does support essentially everything else though. Its got an OK response time of 9.5ms in game mode which is good across most models of TV's. If this is your price range then this is the best you can get.
