I could not live without my tab3
I use my tab 3 for everything,, have had no problems at any time. When it does wear out ,I don't know how i will replace it.
Apps work great.unable to find anything wrong with it.
Purchased in May 2010.
samsung tab3 10.1
I have had two Samsung s tablets both after two years don't work and cant be repaired what a rip off there must be a fault tab 3s as all are phones are Samsung and we are very happy with them the tablets just wont charge up worst tablet I have ever bought think I will stick to other brands in tablets I cant keep waste ing money like that
Great tablet shame they no longer support it or brought out an improved version
For its time this was a great tablet and mine is still going strong.
Hands down beats any ipad at the time and since then.
The size is what sold me as it is effectively the size of an A5 sheet of paper or average diary and isn't heavy to hold.
The stylus is a great tool and the pressure sensitivity by 2017 standards is still better than what else is around. I'm not sure why they didn't continue with a new an improved version with a faster processor and better handwriting to text conversion software.
Battery life was not great and even worse after many years.
Waste of money
Bought this 2 years ago for myself, bought another brand at the exact same time for my daughter, unfortunately this tablet was a big disappointment, battery life is terrible, freezes all the time , very slow and considering its performance it definitely wasn't good value for money I have to say
so far this has been a great purchase, although i did buy when it first came out so it was a bit pricey, but i wanted to see if i liked the smaller tablet compared the cheaper branded 10 inch tablet, i love samsungs, most of my phones are samsungs and the tab 3 is brilliant, ways to hold, easy to use and its not too small, that extra inch makes the world of a difference compared to 7 inch tablet! ive had it for quite a while now and i still use it, im using my ipad at the moment as i need it for my work but i do use the tab 3 a bit and its fantastic
Worst Customer Service. Won't buy Samsung product again!
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 - 8 inch for my daughter and have had problems with it. The screen is dull and not enough light and it cannot be changed. The charger stopped working and it was 2 days out of warranty and Samsung would do nothing to help. The Tablet also sat in my cupboard for 6 weeks before it was used, so it was less than 5 months old. Samsung wanted me to return it to place of purchase and then it would be sent away for up to 6 weeks (with the Tablet) and they would let me know if it was the charger or the Tablet. There is ...no service centre where I live, so this process could take up to 8 weeks all in all. I spoke to somebody at Samsung and was told due to the fact I have had problems with Tablet and charger and it was only 2 days out of warranty they would organise for a new charger to be sent out to me. I was on the phone for over an hour sorting this out and finished the call happy that they would be able to replace charger at no cost to me. I waited three and a half weeks to receive the charger and I still hadn't received it so I called them back. I was then told that it's not their policy to replace chargers and I would have to send it away. Even though, they had all my details recorded and the conversation recorded and a request for the charger to be sent out in front of them, I was told they couldn't help me. I had names, dates and references numbers but I was back to square one! I was dissapointed and angry at such poor after-sales service and lack of help from Samsung. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again! I have since had to replace the charger and I will be buying my daughter and iPad mini soon. I have all other Apple products and thought I would try something different and it's what my daughter wanted, but I will stick with Apple in future. Their customer service is second to none and this would never had happened if I was dealing with them. Nothing. I'm very dissapointed all round Everything. Bad warranty service. No after-sales customer service. Faulty product
I use my Samsung mainly as an E Reader and I'e gone through quite a few devices looking for one that really suited me. Love the built in Readers Hub E Reader program. So much less problematic that other Apps I've used on a previous Tablet computer.Easy to navigate and slightly smaller so as to be very easy to hold in one hand while reading.
Quick to load, easy to connect to the computer for file transfer. Holds it's charge well. Readers Hub E Reader built in. Great weather app.
Perhaps a little too sensitive at times as it's easy to mistakenly close the E Reader application or turn pages
Pick of the galaxy tablets
We already had a Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet when we went looking for a smaller second tablet.
The recognised reviews really rate the Nexus which is marketed under both the Asus and Samsung brands. However, distribution of these to our parts of the world is a bit sporadic and its also a bit hit and miss getting accessories.
Its not surprising then that we ended back with Samsung. The LG was a strong contender, but the vivid bright screen on the Tab 3 is superb.
I would go so far as to say it is a better tablet than our current and higher s...pec model, ghe note 10.1. The processing speed is plenty, it has lots of graphics memory so videos load up and play well. The size of it is perfect to carry around, yet take advantage of the multi window multi tasking.
