The first and only Samsung TV I will buy

published

The TV has ads in the menu that can't be removed. Yes, the TV has ads in the menu that can't be removed! The standard TV settings do not allow for viewing of fast moving pictures i.e. sport in any standard picture setting mode. You have to go into 'Expert Settings' and turn off 'Picture Clarity Settings' in order to view any sport and most movies with a clear picture. Within 8 months of buying the TV it developed a row of dead pixels. This TV gets one star because it is a 65" TV as advertised, and one star because when it died at least Samsung repaired it no questions asked. But let's be very clear: this is a bad TV that you should not buy.

Great Tv

published

I bought the 2021 model....fantastic picture and the sound is ok . I found the apps and settings are great once you learn how to use it takes a bit of navigating. Bluetooth is great for headphones.
On a minor note the remote is good the solar recharge dosnt work. Samsung sent me a new remote and it didn't recharge either.

Worst experience. I would recommend everyone avoid purchasing a Samsung Tv

published

I bought Samsung Q60A 85” TV on 28th Jan, still struggling to get an appropriate answer from Helpdesk. Every time they take one hour to verify order and promis to deliver with in 5 days. Unfortunately my tv is not yet delivered. I will make sure that no one from community to chose Samsung. Such worst customer support and really bad response .

I would like to file legal case on them and awaiting for some info on that.

Don’t buy Samsung plz. Stay away and live peacefully. I lost my mind and I am doubt about my money now.

Purchased in for $2,500.

Good, not great

published

Bought this in early Sept ‘21. Very impressed how thin the screen is. We hung it on our wall using the Samsung bracket which leaves almost no gap between the wall and screen. Picture quality is what you would expect and happy with the range of apps available. But. The apps regularly crash or refuse to load. No network issues, the tv just needs to be switched off at the wall for a few seconds. Minor issue but very annoying when you have to do it two or three times some days. Everything else works fine and is otherwise a good tv. Uses a LOT of power but to be expected from such a big screen I guess.

Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $3,000.

Wouldn't reccomend

I upgraded from the 65' UA65NU7100 *crystal*
And to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. This is supposedly the upgraded and newer better version... which it is not.
If you watch anything that has speed in it ie' sports, action movies, even kids cartoons it's incredibly horrible picture, it's not only jittery but something weird happens where there are chunks/blocks around the moving object. I have tried to adjust the settings and nothing changes. For the price it's not worth it.

The only upside was that the sound quality is really good... but that is pretty worthless when the picture quality is horrible.

Purchased in at The Good Guys Online store for $2,500.
