Too smart for its own good ...
I like this TV but ... it gets confused easily. Not that smart. Try Chrome casting a YouTube video and changing you mind to go back to free to air. Lots of flashing lights on the TV. Volume changes its mind as well... gets loud then soft. Can live with it , but don’t try anything to outsmart it , it easy to do.

Netflix/Disney+ Fans to Avoid - HDR10 Not Working
I bought serif 55" almost a year ago. I first noted that the popular Netflix show Queens Gambit was too dim to watch. The picture appears to be dark and very flat.
Later last year I subscribed to Disney+ to watch Marvel movies. To my biggest disappointment, no movie produced after 2017(with HDR10) can be displayed properly.
I've noted people started complaining about this in early 2019 on forums. For other TV models, the fix can be as simple as changing the gamma value. HOWEVER, Samsung blocked this function for users while using Netflix/Disne...

Do not buy this product or any Samsung television
I purchased 2 x Samsung Serif televisions from Harvey Norman Gepps Cross in Adelaide. Both televisions have audio drop out. Unfortunately I did not check the internet before I purchased these televisions, because audio drop out on Samsung devices is widely reported.
The audio drop out started while the televisions were still under warranty. The Samsung authorised representative in Adelaide (Camtec) checked my televisions and acknowledged there was a fault in both of them and replaced the board in both televisions. This resulted in the audio dr...

Looks Great- But not the picture or your privacy
I looked around for a few weeks for a TV with the latest specs & design together with picture quality that would be suitable for enjoying sport broadcasts. The TV I chose was the Samsung Serif 55" which I thought was the best TV I had purchased until I set it up!
The design is great (see link) & it's a 'premium' model so being a Samsung, I expected more in picture quality than what it really produces. Where I noticed the problem is mainly in skin tones & reds- you don't notice the finer points until it's set up in your home. If you watch someth...

Looks good, nice screen image, hopeless if you value your privacy
This TV looks as good as in the pictures and the screen image is sharp. There's usually more cables hanging out the back (to DVD player, aerial, power) than in the pictures of the TV, but it's still good being able to move it easily in a room.
