Terrible customer service and breached consumer la
Samsung have refused to pay compensation for damages caused by their faulty machine and the negligence of their appointed contractors.
Under Victorian Consumer Law:
"Consumers can seek compensation from the store or manufacturer when a faulty product causes damage to other property belonging to them...
the business refuses to pay or to reach an agreement to settle a dispute, the consumer can take their claim to formal dispute resolution services or take legal action."
Deeply disappointed and will not be giving up on this....---------original review below-------- Worked for about 18 months and then suddenly started taking twice or triple the time to complete a cycle and randomly filled with water when trying to start a spin cycle (never did that before). Have a technician coming, but it should still be under warranty. Somewhat dissatisfied with the failure of the product so early in its lifespan. This is a product you expect to last, it's expensive! UPDATE: After their appointed technician attended 3+ times and caused damage that resulted in flooding through my entire house, they eventually took the machine in. In this time I was offered a store credit and they returned the washing machine without even bothering to look at it after taking it away. Our store credit was completely stuffed up, with the "customer voice" representatives sending the request to a non-email (storenamestorelocationmanager.com.au) with the suburb name spelled incorrectly. This happened twice, even after I actually confirmed the correct email address and spelling of the suburb. I requested my laundering costs be paid and was offered a small amount towards it- however they also wanted me to sign that this was the compensation I was receiving, when I had told them I wanted them to pay for the damage to my house. They tried to trick me into agreeing that the laundry amount was the total compensation! They also wanted my bank statement for a small amount of money. The form also had inaccurate details about the remedy offered by them (and had also been described to me as a form related to the laundry fees, not a compensation agreement). Shifty work. Still waiting on them to respond to my challenging them on the compensation agreement they tried to trick me into signing.

I bought this washer machine after my 15 year old whirlpool machine died on me. I went on a search with a heavy heart to find a washer machine that will serve me the same amount of years the wirlpool did and after extensive searches and reviews in the end the salesperson convinced me that 11kg top loader will was the one. Garbage, Absolute Garbage
I purchased this washing machine 5 months ago, used approx. only once a week so maybe 20-25 cycles total and it randomly stopped mid cycle. displaying an error.
Samsung technical support was unable to determine the failure and provide any solution and are now arranging a technician to come out and repair the unit on site.
So far its been a long drawn out and frustrating process which just seems so, so wrong and unfair for a 5 month old, $1000+ product!

I am an Airbnb host and need a large capacity to Cope with never ending sheets and towels. Instead of using 2 washers doing multiple loads, I went looking for something that could shorten the time spent in the laundry.
I went inquiring about this machine because it looked perfect for my needs.
First I was talked into an LG 13kg front loader, what a nightmare. The only cycle that allowed full capacity was cotton cycle and that cycle was well over 2 hours long.

Washes well. Very happy with it. I love the inbuilt sink. And it tells you when it needs a tub Clean. Great for those large blankets that you either gotta take to the laundry mat or ask a friend to borrow there washer. As it won't fit in yours.
Highly recommended this washer for large families. Perfect for those large loads of washing.
This is the best washing machine I've ever had
Its cycle is very efficient between spinning, rinse and the whole process, it's very practical and useful especially for families with many children.
No the clothes don't get any changes neither on color nor the fabric.
On some stages it's quite loud, bur over all it's acceptable.

Purchased from Harvey Norman. Great machine with good functionality. I've had it for two months now and it works like a treat. the clothes come out dryer than ever before. It's helpful having the Activ DualWash as it allows you to easily pre-wash certain items in the above washboard and let it soak and then easily drop into the machine. Large capacity allows you to do large family loads. automated to use only the required amount of water needed.

Anyone else had issues where the cycle takes double or triple the time to complete? Have also had the SPIN cycle filling with water...
Hi Winter, the washing time may increase as it depends on various factors such as the cycle and settings of the wash as well as load amount.
In regard to the spin cycle, if the washer may detect if the unit if out of balance or agitated, a small amount of water may be added. If you find that your washer is filling up with water instead, please send us a message to the link below so we can further look into this.
I contacted support and a technician came and found that the pump had shorted and the motherboard had been damaged. Both were replaced however the issue does not seem to be resolved. I will of course be contacting the live chat for support yet again.
