Hi Samsung,
We have the 13kg Activ Dual washer. We are having issues with clothing coming out with pulled threads all over, basically ruining the garment. Don't even get me started on my towels.
I have checked and felt all over the inside of the bowl for raised or sharp edges. I can't feel or see anything that garments would catch on. I'm at my wits end with this and ready to return the machine and opt for another brand. For the price of this machine I expected so much more.
Anything with buttons, turn inside out & button together. Anything with zips wash with other zipper garments, zipped up & inside out. Even on regular dark/light wash the clothes get terribly knotted, which could also be causing issues. Somehow our woollens are getting holes, yet only 3-4 items in the delicate cycle. Ours is 10 mths old & wish I had told the appliance retailer to jam it with refund after first wk.
It has only just started happening. I've had mine for just over 12 months and it's been fine until recently. I want my money back and opting for another brand. I didn't realise the reviews for this machine were so bad. Wished I'd looked them up prior to buying.
Am I able to use 40 degree water to run a wash with more water/ a full machine? How can I do this? The 40 degree magic clean only allows me to run up to 5 for water.
I tried that 40 degree cycle and was disappointed you could not use it for a full machine, but as my hot water is very hot I haven't worried about using it again. You could try starting on that cycle then turn the machine off once it has started washing, and then when you turn it on again set the cotton cycle for the remainder of the cycle on level 10 using the hot wash cycle. I am sure it would be almost the right temperature. Worth a try.
Hi I’m trying to work out what water level I put my washer on for a full load as I’m getting dirty marks left on my dark clothes
Hi Samsung
Have any steps been taken to address the concerns raised here? In particular the rinsing in warm/hot water?
I can’t purchase a machine that wastes resources like that, it’s terrible for the environment.
Thank you
Gaby

Can you do a cold wash only on this machine? My laundry does not have hot water available
Hi Rebecca, if your unit has a single water hose - you can connect it to both hot and cold water via the Y connector. This unit has a hot and cold water selection on the control panel. Ada

Hi Liz, would you be able to check the error code displayed on the unit again? We believe this may have been misread :) You can also send us a photo of the error code via Facebook- please ensure to copy and paste your enquiry in a private message to us.

Hi,
I recently Purchased Samsung WA13M8700G and the manual is not enough for me to select the actual washing mode.
Please help me with the amount of washing liquid to be used for 13 kg normal wash and the water level, rinse time, wash time, spin speed, cold/hot temp.
Please also let me know what 40c magic clean and 60c magic clean?
Thanks for choosing Samsung, Tharini. We'd be more than happy to help you out on your enquiries. The 40°C / 60°C Magic Clean heats the supplied water up to a custom temperature of 40 °C / 60°C and uses the water to clean heavily soiled or stubborn items in an effective way. To start your washing machine:
1. Press POWER to turn on the washing machine.
2. Select a cycle in the cycle panel.
3. Change the cycle settings (water level, wash time, rinse count, and/or spinning speed) as
necessary.
4. To add an option such as Delay End and Soak, press the corresponding button.
5. Press and hold START/PAUSE
With the amount of detergent used, we recommend for you to follow the detergent manufacturer’s recommendations based on the weight of the laundry, the degree of soiling, and the hardness of the water in your local area.

Hi Jo thanks for the reply also another question, if i use half load washing will it use the water for full load 13 kg washing or will the water usage be for the load of cloths I wash!
Hey Tharini, you are able to adjust the water level of the wash to your suitability. Jo

Agree the manual is lacking and not to a good standard but at least they are responding to this site, watch out for setting the temp you will use more electricity.
How long is the quick cycle?
Depending on the water level the quick cycle is around 20 minutes hope this helps
Thanks Caralyn, is the wash time adjustable for other cycles like regular or heavy duty wash?
Every time I wash whites, they always come out with dirt stains, why?
HI Haka, the Wash Time can be adjusted on all cycles. The Quick Wash time is dependent on the settings you use such as the Water Level, Wash Time and Rinse Times settings. Jo

Question: is the wash cycles loud? I was looking at whirlpool reviews and the biggest complaint was how loud they got and clothes not being cleaned right.
Hey Ang, if you feel like your washing machine is operating louder than it should, we will be more than happy to look into it. Please feel free to contact our Customer Care team on 1300 362 603 :) Jo

Samsung are the only top tier top loader manufacturer who includes discrete lint filters in their non-impeller based washing machines.
I have heard some people say these are great, and others complain they constantly need emptying and/or break too easily.
Interested in the thoughts of actual owners.
We dont need to empty those often, the washing machine is great and does a perfect job, plus the look is amazing!
The lint filters are good I reckon. I always empty mine after washing towels or anything that might have had dog hair on it. They are easy to clean and seem quite sturdy. I cannot imagine them breaking easily. I have had no problems with this. The only thing that is hard to get used to is the clothes get all tangled up with each other due to no impeller - but no issues with the lint filter.
