Scoot did not inform me on time
There was a restriction on my travelling capacity, which was issued 4 days prior to my flight. The airline could have informed me, so I could take appropriate actions, but they didn't. They just offered a full refund at the airport, when checking in, for wasting my time and money.
Do not fly with Scoot!
Do not plan your holiday with Scoot.
This is my note to Scoot airlines after I have realized that my CONFIRMED itinerary has been changed by Scoot without notifying me. Writing to my junk mail is not a notification as I do not check or read junk mail.
To keep the story short: Scoot canceled our flight and put us on the nearest flight seven hours later.
In short, Scoot put me on the flight which is going to arrive in Bangkok one day later with 18! hours of a stopover in Singapore from 1 am.

Preordered the chicken fried rice from PERTH to Singapore. Cost was $17 AUD. It was honestly the worst food I have ever been served in my entire life. It was cold and the congealed, grey rice was glued together in one large lump. Come on Scooties, you can do a lot better than this.
Horrible experience even after filing grievance scoot changed my return flight schedule all of sudden it has been postponed to next we have spoke more 20 times there is no solution never ever fly with scoot. The reschedule is not because of corona virus, one of the reps confirmed it

I wish I'd checked these reviews before booking
The call centre terrible, I don't think they have anything to do with Scoot anyway. Rescheduling of flights etc (even in light of the Corona virus) expensive or impossible. $600 wasted, horribly disappointed. Won't do it again.
The Perth ground manager of scoot is ridiculous. We were only 5 minutes late and the check-in was closed. We were not allowed to check-in. We literally bagged as we are international students and the tickets were non-refundable. The worst experience to date with any airlines. I would never book again and will recommend you not to book with scoot. Air Asia, Garuda and others are way far better than this cheap airline.
Terrible service & food
Awful customer service. Awful food, so overpriced, but portion so small and Nasi Lemak was filled with sweet sauces rather than actual ingredients. Seat had a missing recliner button, and when I sent in feedback all I was told was they "checked and there was nothing wrong with the seat". Insinuating that I (A CUSTOMER) was making things up, instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt. Very interesting how this could be when the button as missing from the seat! I even sent in a photo of the evidence showing the button MISSING. They just ignored my e-mails thereafter even though I repeatedly e-mailed to ask for a follow-up. They clearly do not value customer service, so I will be switching loyalities.

DO NOT FLY SCOOT . I have had an unsatisfactory experience with Scoot. 8 kg of my items were missing from my luggage and luggage was damaged when we received it. I cannot connect customer service by phone, emails are given a standard auto response, and chat gives no response. This is an unacceptable situation can someone help me
Flight TR-019 was scheduled to depart from Melbourne to Singapore at 1:20 pm AEST on the 3rd of February 2020 . Due to technical issues they made us stay inside the aircraft while they were working on the issue. For the first, one and a half hours to about 2 hours, the air conditioner was not working, when asked the attendant informed they were experiencing some technical issues.
Upon seeing passengers uncomfortable and some literally sweating, they called in technician and set it up. The entire process took about 5 hours and we waited patien...tly only to be told Melbourne authorities had given a red flag to depart and that we are to disembark only to start the process of standing at the counter all over again. We had to go through immigration and back to check in counter. Now the representatives knew there was another flight flying at 10:30 pm AEST and so their priority was to check-in passengers boarding that flight, while leaving 225 passengers (as told) from cancelled flight stranded at the airport waiting in long queues unattended. I had to wait for 5 hours and 45 minutes for my turn (not even exaggerating). Though I was given two options (if I wanted to take the flight), both the options were delayed by more than 24 hours. What is shocking is that there was a similar incident by the same flight TR-019 just a week before on the 27th of Jan 2020 to be exact. They had to cancel the flight due to technical issues. Sold me a fake flight and won’t refund me

Do not travel with scoot tigerair airlines
It was on flight TR 6 from Phuket to Gold Coast and I had purchased extras for a more comfortable flight as promised by Scoot Tigerair. The extras I paid for were not entirely honored as promised. Firstly I could not logon to the wifi to use the pre-purchased data due to a router network fault. Secondly the so-called ‘scoot in silence’ pre-purchased was not honored as promised and is misleading. Thirdly the ‘board me first’ extra purchased was not honored as promised and is also misleading.
In addition to these issues, the couple sitting in se...ats 8E and 8F informed me that they paid for the extra legroom which was not honoured instead they were moved to my row of seats. After receiving this information combined with me being misled has prompted I have filed this complaint with Scoot Tiger Airways and the ACCC. I suggest that Scoot Tigerair contact me with information on how they plan to rectify these issues and how these will be prevented in future from reoccurring. Notice of the formal written submission to ACCC will be forwarded to the Scoot team in due course for comment.
Worst airline in the world. Avoid!!!!!
Last year I was doing a visa run and they cancelled the first flight 4 times where I miss the return flight with another airline. I end up paying top price for a return ticket! Now I was stupid enough to book with Scoot again and we having other issues! AVOID THIS AIRLINE AT ALL COST IF YOU DON'T WANT TROUBLES AND TO LOSE MONEY!!!
A lowest level of airline
Their customer service took several hours not being able to call in. Once they took the call, their purpose was not to clarify your questions, but just misled you to charge you more money. When I asked in more depth, they just enen to avoid clear answer. They also imposed more worries to you so that you would take the deal for their benefit.

13 hours long flight
- no water (you can buy 0,3l for nice 2SGD - more less 2USD)
- no food
- no pillow or blanket
- no entertaiment system
- wifi didn't work
- no notice about delay (70min) or time of landing...
Not Fair Scoot.
I flew with 3 family members on Scoot in December. I booked in February. After booking, I went to manage my booking where it clearly states that you can pay a fee to book seats and sit with your family. I did this and booked seats in Scoot in silence with slightly added legroom for about $30 each. The day before the flight the aircraft was downgraded and we were all seated in centre seats separately except for 1 who had a vacant seat next to them. I called and they said I could pay more to sit together in $50 seats or in the regular seat which ...are $9. I opted for regular and asked for the difference to be refunded,ie$21 per person. They categorically refused as they said we had the same standard of seat. True but the point was to sit together. Who pays a high premium to be wedged in a centre seat between strangers on a cramped budget flight? No One. I didn't ask for a total refund only the difference so we could sit together.
Terrible booking experience
I had the most horrible experience of booking with Scoot airline. It began one day after I booked flights. I wanted to change the return flight to a date, which was cheaper flight. I called their customer service centre and told them that my change was within 24 hrs of my booking, I was happy to change to a cheaper flight without credit as long as it could be changed without fees. Unfortunately I was told that I had to pay change fee over $100 even if it was changed to a cheaper flight, no credit and no refund. I was also told " a lesson" by them over the phone. I regret i booked this airline. I will never book with this airline again!!

Had the most horrible experience with this airline. It began few weeks after I booked my flights, they cancelled the flight on the day I booked and automatically booked me for a place two days later. No email, no phone call, they just resent my itinerary, good that I checked. That took 3 phone calls to sort out, as they have put me on a cheaper flight and refused to refund me the difference, had to threaten them with Consumer Affairs. Few days before my flight I needed to buy extra luggage allowance, their website and app both were not working,...when I called them I was out on hold for over an hour so I gave up. They promise that you can use their website and/or app to easily change or upgrade your flight up to 4 hours before departure. That is not true as I tried numerous times and it never worked. You have to call them and ask someone to do it for you, when you reach them their customer service staff all talk like robots and lack any sort of personality or empathy. You can tell they are just reading off the script. I also paid for food as my flight was quite long and their website stated that they do not allow food from outside. Thank god I brought snacks with me anyway as the food they served was disgusting. Worst experience ever, not worth what I ended up "saving" by going with them rather than other airline.
Flew with scoot from Saigon to Singapore recently, flight was delayed an hour with no advise what what happening. Then when we arrived at our destination and went to collect our luggage, it wasn't there. Apparently they didn't load ANY luggage for anyone on the flight at all, and didn't have the decency to announce over the speaker during the flight what had happened, leaving every single passenger stressed and having no idea where there luggage went or what to do about it.
I understand there may have been a possible reason, but they could ha...ve at least let people know that the luggage wasn't loaded into the aircraft and what to expect/what to do about upon arrival! Poor service indeed. Dozens of people had to transfer to different flights without their luggage and only the clothes on their back, good one Scoot.

Mess of an Airline Company
Pay the extra $100 and fly with another airline. It's not worth the cheap fares at all!! I was misinformed by their customer representative on my baggage allowance and then charged an absurd amount of $400 at the airport to check my bag all due to their misinformation! No one gets back to me when I call the hotline or send an email requesting a refund. Honestly, just save yourself the frustration and pay a little extra so you don't have to deal with the mess that is this airline.

Scoot booked me on a flight that I didn't actually book. I had filled out the details and not entered my card details yet somehow the flight booked itself, perhaps through an autosaved credit card?
When I received the itinerary I called Scoot to tell them that I had never confirmed the flight or put through the payment. This is where the fun began. I have now called 11 times, spoken to two supervisors and been told that I would receive a call back 6 times. No one ever called back until last week when a manager called me, asked me the same ques...tions that I had been asked 100 times already and then told me that he would 'escalate the matter and call me back' (that afternoon). It's been ten days now and I have still not received a callback. Now I've called again and been asked the same questions again, put on hold by two agents for longer than 10 minutes and now am on hold again after calling back for the 3rd time today. All this for a $300 flight! If it wasn't booked through the charity that I work for I wouldn't bother. We will never fly Scoot again.
