Supercheap flights Aus to India
Booking process was smooth, have booked the tickets for August so hopefully everything goes well. I got return tickets from Melbourne to Amritsar for under $750 which I believe is exceptional. Usually it costs that much for one way on the other more popular flights. Will write another review once experienced the flight.
Excessbag purchase extra luggage we paid the extra 40 kilos on line does not give you 40kilos only gives you 20 added
The kilos you buy on line IE 40 kilos only adds to be a total not 40 kilos added to your fare of 20 kilos plus 40 kilos= 60 kilos DONT Get caught out on Scoot It’s a fraud and misleading on how you buy excess luggage ‘ !

Dont flight scoot
Booked early for cheep flights and knowing it's booked return . They changed the return flight with delay 24hr .our only option was refund as no other flights. 3 months now no refund and they keep 300 dollar for taxes ??? To top it off they just did it for the first trip now only 2 weeks to go and flights are 1000 bucks more expensive. Dont flight scoot
Paid extra for window seat and reallocated to another seat on board
I booked a flight from Bangkok to Melbourne for my girlfriend and prepaid an additional fee to select a seat, in this case 14K, a window seat. This seat was on the booking and a boarding pass was issued for this seat. Once on board my girlfriend was taken from this seat and manually re-allocated and seated at 36F; 22 rows back on an aisle. Scoot have refused to refund the extra amount I paid for this seat saying the fee for that seat was the same as 14K. Irrespective I paid for 14K not any other seat at the back. I could have chosen not to pay ...for a seat and just taken what was allocated but I didn't , I paid extra for that seat, 14K. What a ripoff by Scoot, and be prepared for the fact that you are not guaranteed a specific seat even if you pay for that seat in particular. They also cited to Ts&Cs that they can re-allocate you anywhere for aircraft safety, that's OK, but you seated someone else in 14K, so pay me back what I paid for that seat and extra for the inconvenience
Zero Customer Service
Left Wheel Chair Assistance Passenger in Airport Gate and didn't come back to take them to baggage area. Passenger had to walk to immigration and baggage area with broken knee. Raised a complaint in Scott Website and they didn't bother to respond back. In-flight service was terrible. Passenger was refused to serve wanted as he didn't have a money in correct currency.
You get what you pay for
We had 3 adults and 2 children flying on 4 different flights in January. 1). Sydney to Singapore 2). Singapore to Cebu 3). Cebu to Singapore 4). Singapore to Sydney (changed to a chartered flight with Singapore Airlines)
Likes: Affordable. Check-in process was sufficient. No flight delays. Leg room is sufficient for a person of 185cm height. Upgrade to Singapore Airlines chartered flight for leg #4 (super win)
Dislikes: food and entertainment options are expensive.
Overall you get what you pay. Scoot delivered without being spectacular.
Gets you from A to B that's all
This airline has very competitive prices, you can easily save hundreds of dollars. It is a 'no frills' airline with no meals, no water, no pillow or blankets for long flights. You have to buy your food and beverages on board. The staff are helpful but I would like to report 2 problems that are not acceptable:
1. Poor control of cabin pressure. Everybody loss consciousness/ fell asleep on takeoff due to poor control of the cabin pressure (air is thinner with altitude, lower in oxygen, this can be controlled by pressurizing the cabin to 5000-700...

Staff at Singapore is useless and you wont get your refund
I paid for meals and seat selections online, got to Melbourne airport I upgraded my seat to Scoot Business, was told by supervisor staff in Melbourne they don't have access to be able to give me a refund on my seat selection and meal, they will email the supervisor in Singapore so I can get the refund in Singapore. I have to give Scoot credit for passing the buck they are excellent at it. Got to Singapore they tell me sorry you need to ring the call centre, we only do boarding here. What a joke, didn't think Singapore company was this bad. By t...he look of it I wont be getting my refund anytime soon. To the people who is planning to fly with Scoot Airline please think twice. Read all the reviews before you buy your tickets, I wouldn't recommend Scoot at all, my 1st time flying with them and definitely my last. Please don't waste your money with these idiots. Go support Jetstar or Virgin, Quantus.
Costumer Service Terrible
I did call them for transferring my baggage to my return ticket which that agent confirm it i can do it. When i tried to ring them back here's a gay guy who sound like a woman but sound like man telling me i cant do those, which ticked me off why they letting these false information to the costumer and ripped off my money. Now ive got 60kg baggage in total from perth to Singapore.
First time to fly with scoot airlines and my 1st time to lose my baggage as well. I’ve tried calling their costumer services several times but they won’t be able to trace where my baggage is, they cannot give any information regarding my baggage. It’s been 2 weeks. I’ve made a report as soon as I arrived in Perth but until now nobody’s calling me regarding my baggage. I asked my niece who is working at Manila airport to check at scoot office in manila, she was told by the staff that the baggage lost in singapore but it was send and arrived at P...erth airport the next morning but until now nobody called us or informed us. According to the officer that I reported regarding my lost baggage in Perth that they will send the baggage in Geraldton since This is where I lived but no calls have been made till now. I hope that scoot will make an immediate action to resolve the issue of my lost baggage.
Scoot lost our suitcase and didn’t care
Flew from Krabi to Singapore. Onflight service, staff and food was great. BUT, Scoot lost my wife’s suitcase which has all her belongings in it for a months travel plus some of our babies things. I had to line up and wait in the generic lost baggage department for 50 minutes, at 8pm, while my wife had to keep our 12 month old baby occupied, who needed sleep. Lost baggage said Scoot would not help with emergency belongings basics for my wife overnight. At hotel I called Scoot Singapore Counter and said since they lost the luggage can they provid...e some basic toiletries, pyjamas etc to get through the night (or at least some cash to buy it). They didn’t want to help at all and just gave me the lost baggage phone number which I already had. Disgusting and don’t even apologize or try to transfer me to someone who could help (so likely no one at Scoot would help, which is just what the lost baggage department said....that Scoot wouldn’t help). This was the first time we flew with Scoot and we will never fly with them again. Can only hope the suitcase turns up tomorrow!
Worst Airline I've ever been!!!
First time that i fly with Scoot from Manila to Perth. The flight attendant was just rude they're not approachable. They served dinner already but not wake me up to give me some coz i bought the ticket and include the food on it they dont even bother to ask. I tried to ask that flight attendant but she just ignored me. Then so screwed up now coz i already made a booking on the way home but they said their system cant read it. Like what????
Delayed flights, Lost baggage, Worst experience ever in life, Good bye Scoot!
We 6 ppl flyed by Indonesia to Melbourne on 13/01/19, transited in Singapore. 5 of us total 8 baggages were checked in but not arrived in Melbourne airport, the most ridiculous thing is last one person checked in 2 bags and only 1 arrived...
not to mention how bad on the delays and don’t even want to go further on how hard to communicate with different parties (scoot airline, departure airport, transit airport, arrival airport and bloody agent called Charles Taylor aviation), those ppl were damn useless and helpless by answer you anything, except giving us a never-have-human-answered phone number.
TRUST ME, no matter how cheap Scoot offers, never never never flight Scoot, it “kills” you without you even notice!
Send emails to Scoot a month prior to your flight, you get a response a month after your flight or perhaps it never comes.Booked since it was priced Ok but at the end of it they increased the stay over time to 23 hours,so ended up spending 270 SGD at Changi for food and accomodation.Probably one of the worst decision ever to fly an unprofessional and cheap airline service. Dont compromise for Quality. This is a lesson...
Worst experience ever, I arrived in Melbourne but my Bag is still in Singapore
This is the first time I fly with Scoot Airlines and I had the worst experience ever. On 8th January i flew from Jakarta to Melbourne and I have to transit to Singapore. Before the plane flew to Singapore i want to put my bag in the cabin but it's full, the flight attendant ask me to check in my bag and they guarantee that my bag will arrive with me in Melbourne. But the reality is the bag did not arrive with me to Melbourne, my bag is still in Singapore. All of my clothes is inside my bag, and they told me that my bag will arrive in 48 hours. So, for the next two days I don't have any clothes, I'll just wait till my bag arrive in Melbourne and I'm not sure that my bag will arrive on time.

Flight from sydney to singapore - flight 7.5 hours - flight was smooth - flight was cold but i had my OWN blanket - flight in general was ok. - tray table DIRTY - food was good.

i booked and paid for a window seat 6K with extra leg room - aircraft up graded from scoot to Singapore airlines. i was notified of this change via email however as i do not work in the airline industry i did not realise that my pre booked seat was cancelled. at Sydney i checked in and was given a boarding pass with a different seat alloc...
Terrible! Rude staff and late flights.
First time flyer with Scoot and I have to say they are probably the worst to fly with. Both times our flights were delayed by at least for 2 hours, gate changes and not once did they inform us of any of this. Check in counters have technical issues and cause you to wait an hour in line.
Rude staff on board who wake you up and demand boarding passes for food, then get impatient when you are groggily fumbling around your purse getting them. In the end I told her to take it away as she was making me upset. No apologies.
Drinks are not complimentary. Have to pay $8 for some water.
Terrible, terrible, terrible.
