Avoid this company and save your money
A family member used this company to fit out their home and they were nothing but problems from the first day. They used multiple contractors to try to install the sets; they left gaps between the frames which they tried to seal with silicon!!!!; then the blinds broke down and came off their rails; eventually they replaced the sets but with inferior material that leaked light right through the blind so it was pointless in the end. They then offered to removed the sets and charge a fee!!! And refused a full refund. They had severely damaged all ...

If anyone is thinking of using this company, please be very careful. The sales rep promised us an amazing quality product and insisted on a 50% deposit before an installer would visit. An installer then visited to measure up. They explained how it would be installed and how we would be left with a neat finish. Three visits later we are left with a dogs breakfast with light spilling through and wavy blinds. Final payment was required before they would leave our property. Apparently the issue is ours as our ceiling is not square. Apparently the i...

At the most recent visit, the installer confessed that he had done the best he could do, but he was happy to squirt some no more gaps where the light was spilling through. What is this, the 1940’s?
When booking in an onsite quote, the booking agent insisted that I only book a time that my husband was available as he needs to also approve of the blinds (what?). I repeated myself multiple times, stating that I will be doing the consultation without him. She did not let it go. I questioned why he needed to attend. Finally she booked a time with me but I feel so bitter that I have ended up going elsewhere. I am flabbergasted.

Very average blinds. Do not get with small children!!
The blinds are flimsy and the runners feel like they are always about to come out. I was instructed you can only lift up and down from the middle. Crazy really. Also don’t have them slightly down as wind can also pop them out. My daughter pressed a corner and it came right out. The blinds do block out the light but they won’t last. I would look elsewhere.

They take your advance and then threaten you to pay penalties for things that you don't even know. They don't even have a office or a showroom for their product. They come to you with some samples which aren't manufactured by them and provide a very minimal quote to get the advance.

Retractable fly screens
Had these installed in sliding windows, they can only be opened from outside. One screen began to buckle as I opened it . Sales should have told me these are not really suitable for sliding windows. Product is flimsy . Considering how expensive they are at more than $500 per average size windows i would have expected a more robust product. Actual fly mesh pops out frequently

Didn’t get past the front door!
I was quite prepared to purchase but sales kept asking me if I’m married, who owned the house and what my husbands name was even after I told her those questions weren’t appropriate. You lost a sale with your rudeness.

Block out blind doesn't block out light
SO FRUSTRATED. Customer service before installation was good, however the "block-out" blind we had installed in our toddlers room was an absolute waste of money. After installation there is still light coming in from around the frame of the blind. The blind itself comes out of the tracks whenever it is slightly sunny because as the installer told us, the heat from the sun is causing the fabric to bulge and then come out of the tracks. Claims as per the website are it's great for sleeping babies, definitely NOT. The material is so bad that I can...
Read more literally see the siloette of the window frame from the sun through the blind when it's closed. The blind bulges and comes out of the tracks causing large amounts of light to enter the room. And not to mention the amount of heat radiating into the room from it hitting the blind material. You can't sit within 1 meter of the window without sweating on a 20 degree day and I hate to think that it will be like in summer! I asked for a different installer to come and fix it, they sent the same guy, I asked for a refund for the blind but apparently it's not the fault of the products, it's because it's a North facing window and a lot of light comes in which is not usually the case with their customers??? Something pretty basic that the sales person or installer could have seen on the 2 occasions they visited before they installed!! Absolutely appalled at the quality of this product and the conduct since installation. We are very sorry that this has been your experience and we would like to investigate this matter further for you. Poor after purchase service
I purchased two blinds two years ago, the blind installation was very good and when working the product is working, it blocks out the light as advertised. Unfortunately the string that holds the blind tight has snapped and the blind does not function as it should. I scheduled a service call for the blind to be fixed, this has since been cancelled by screenaway twice. If the next appointment is not cancelled we would have waited 6 weeks for a technician to fix the screenaway blind. The customer service team are apologetic however do not care of ...

Be wary of this company
I have two young children and wanted a blind that would completely block out the sun from streaming into their rooms and waking them early. These Screenaway blinds looked the perfect solution. The installer finished installing them and warned me in no uncertain terms to be very careful when pulling them up only to do it from the direct centre of the blind. Little did I know how flimsy they were. Anything but the direct centre means the blinds pop out of their tracks and have to be put back in. You are unable to have the blinds half way down and...
Read more have the window open even a crack as this will also push the blinds out of alignment. Even worse then the blinds though is the service. My daughter’s blind is now broken and permanently stuck fully closed leaving her room in darkness. I have been cancelled on twice in the last two weeks for the exact same reason - a sick repairman. When contacted again I now have to wait a further two weeks for a rescheduled appointment which I also have to pay $120 for. They are happy to push these shonky blinds onto people which they are obviously embarrassed to sell or face their customer when they inevitably break apart. I feel sorry for the people leaving positive reviews as they will soon experience the poor workmanship of the blinds and be deeply disappointed with an Australian company.Hi Haylee,

Great for block out but that's it
Had these installed a year ago. Great for block out for sleeping but that's it. No good if you have evaporative air conditioning as the windows need to be slightly open for air flow and the blinds are sucked out of their tracks so you cant have the blinds down on a hot night so that defeats the purpose of having block out blinds. No no-one informed us of this issue. Slight breeze and they come out their track. they are very flimsy. Don't let children operate them because of the blinds flimsy nature.

Extreme waste of money
Looked an amazing product on the video.
What a shock, blinds constantly blow off the rail.
The installer said there was a slight draft coming in the window so applied. Black sealer foam. Was not informed this would make the blinds pop off.
Recent inspection which I was going to be charged for, but refused… the solution was removing the bottom bar and to leave the blinds open by 10mm-14mm, defeating the blockout at they said they provide.
Find a better company that cares about their customers concerns and doesn’t leave them to solve the issue.

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.
Wanted blockout for a media room. 3/2/21 Initial contact via social marketing was good, sales person was also great to deal with. Advised an installer will contact me in roughly 4-6 weeks time to do a check measure, he arrived a few hours late and winged because head office should not have made his booking at the agreed time, he said someone will be in contact in a couple of weeks to arrange installation. a few weeks later I recieved another call advising a 2nd check measure was necessary with no explination why. The original sales lady and ...
Read morethe 1st installers check measure was not good enough?. 3rd check measure was completed and told installation would be another 2-3 weeks away. Today installer came out and said he can't install because the original blinds were in the way. This was not an issue at the time of quoting as I scecifcally wanted them to blockout in our media room. And never discussed by the check measure x 2. now have to wait another 2-3 weeks for adjustments. So far my experience is very poor and I would not recommend. We are very sorry that this has been your experience and we would like to investigate this matter further for you.
