My nightmares started after I paid my deposit. I have to re-do part of my timber floor last year and I engaged their Waterloo branch to do the job. The project organiser could not confirm a starting day for me. After my phone calls almost every week, It finially took 2 months to start. The timber was supported be delivered on a day but no one have organised. I only found it out when I called to confirm it the day before delivery, because I did trust the organiser anymore. They delivered the timber without asking me to paid the second deposit.... The organiser called me so many times within one hour (she have never called me unless I called her), asking me to pay it right a way. Then the installing person did not come on the starting day, he came on the third day and wasted 1 hour of his time then went. A three days job lasted 8 day, because the installer was late every day and disappear during noon time for 3 hours etc. The floor turn our great, but the company is a nightmare to deal with.
Not even open during business hours
The Chatswood store is listed as being open on Satudays until 4pm, arrived at 2.30 and store closed, really glad we drove all the way for nothing, what's funny is we walked across the road into another flooring store and bought the same product.
You guys need to lift your game if you expect to stay in business

Initial consultation with them fine until a persisting problem occurred like squeaking floorboard throughout our apartment , took 2 years to fix , then told us needed skirting boards which we paid extra for to this day look shabby as was just a quick fix for them stay away they not for the customer
Good Product - Poor Service
SE Timber did a beautiful job installing our floors. However, the level of service provided from start to finish was disappointing.
From the time the job was booked, the onus was on us to follow up on delivery and installation details. Communication around the delivery of the materials was especially poor. Booking time provided was not adhered to and again, follow up was required.
The most frustrating experience was on installation day, when the installer arrived late, without a word of acknowledgment or apology.
The job itself was done well but the level of service provided by their back end was really disappointing, and requires serious consideration, if you're planning to book a job with them.

What happended to timely, professional service?
After paying for my timber flooring I was advised delivery of the goods would be 4-5 days. This has blown out to 10 days, and still no confirmed delivery time yet. At no time has anyone from the warehouse or showroom tried to contact me and its only my daily phone calls to them that have seen them change delivery timings from 4-5 to 6-7 to 7-8. Meanwhile my builder has a queue of tradies lined up for work that depends on the floor being down, and re-booking them into the calenddar is now problematic. Thanks SE Timber for not being honest from t...he outset, that's going to cost me alot in both time and dollars now to complete my project. Lied to, and even when lies pointed out to the company, their response 'thats something that sometimes happens you just have to suck it up.'
