Streets Magnum Classic
Portugal? What happened?
The white magnums have completely changed. All within this last week. My wife picked up our daily batch. Not as creamy, weird sugar taste. But also noticed, when thinking maybe it's a USA factory now. I was completely wrong. The mini white ones now say Portugal. Well whatever they are doing in Portugal. They suck now. The recipe is horrible, not the same. 10+ years of Magnum addiction. Is no more.

Meddling with the recipe
Recipe changes are detrimental to the luxury and treat a Magnum is supposed to be. Whether it was a brand decision or Streets management or worse Unilever management someone should be sacked.
Purchased in July 2021 at Seven Eleven, Ashgrove for $5.
Vanilla center is like ice milk
Well they outside is decent with their toffee praline or whatever it's called I was really surprised by the inside white supposedly vanilla ice cream that tastes like nothing, like ice milk. Really disappointing since it already has a lot of calories with the praline, at least I could do is have some really rich vanilla ice cream in the middle.
Purchased in January 2020 for $3.
Short changed
Got a pack of 6 mini magnums and when opened there where only 4 in the box. Ripped off
Purchased in October 2019 at IGA for $6.

Not the original Magnum experience
The product is smaller in size and the flavour lacks the creamy smoothness of the original magnum in my opinion why change a winning formula it appears to be a loss of vision by the manufacturer
Purchased in September 2019 at Woolworths for $4.95.
Why change what isn't broken??
My son loves to have his vanilla magnum every night. Not any more!! The bars are smaller, the chocolate thinner which makes it break off in small pieces and the vanilla ice cream, no where near as creamy as usual and has a very distinct 'coffee' flavour. He doesn't like them at all. Very sad!

fake ice cream
Progressively Streets no longer make a proper ice-cream. Haven't bought a magnum for a while but this time the so called 'ice cream' has no body to it and seems to disappear in the mouth. Probably a good thing as it is now a vegetable oil product. It also had traces of ice crystals.
The chocolate coating seemed okay though.

Magnum Hazelnut salted vanilla By Johnny !??? Saltier than the ocean and possibly me
Normally I enjoy a magnum ! But the salted vanilla ice cream magnum has left me confused and thirsty ?! While the chocolate / nut shell is very palatable , the creamy vanilla ice cream holds a salty surprise . Like ocean salty , like someone loosen the lid on s salt shaker and it emptied onto your meal kind of salty . Such and unusual combination.
Is not the kind of thing you want to have uncontrollable body twitches with in negative response . I actually couldn’t finish the ice cream bit , and if you knew me you would be nothing but surpri...
What happened
I work on an offshore rig,and as a treat for us the staff give us a magnum with our meals in the freezer waiting for us when we are done dinner, its only this time we noticed as there was 10 of us around the table eating these almond magnums and noticed just how small they have gotten, the amount of non exsistant almonds are now on them, and how un creamy they are, what happened? You were the best magnum and im afraid to say now you surely are not, there are over 200 people on board and we have all noticed im pretty sure if you dont change it back to the awesome magnums of the past you will surely lose alot of business,as you have just lost ours
Sincerely
Unhappy ex magnum lover

No flavour
Looked forward to trying this ice cream,
Very disappointing, no flavour, outer casing of ? White chocolate hard and unappealing, inner case had the same innocuous flavour, not worth the reduced price!
.... Not a magnum, it's a joke!
Smaller, the chocolate which used to be the highlight has been changed into a overly sweet nasty cheap chocolate and they're still cheeky enough to try and charge the same price

Nothing Magnum about Magnums
Bought them a few times lately- each time hoping it was my imagination they were smaller, and the chocolate was thinner- I used to love chipping away at the thick chocolate and almond coating- now it’s so thin it falls off in one brittle piece and and the ice- cream is gone in a couple of mouthfuls. I’m so very disappointed - I thought it might have been a mistake - but no! Looks like I’m on the lookout for a new favourite- thanks for spoiling a good thing greedy Streets!

The King no more
It's sad to see an old friend decline. This was undeniably a great ice cream but over the last 5 years it has gone downhill in a big way. Compared to the Magnum I remember, the one I had today was a lot smaller and the chocolate is way thinner and not at the same quality. Cost cutting will hurt this brand, and I miss the old Magnum.

Good
A high quality ice cream on a stick. Featuring smooth creamy vanilla ice cream coated with a thin layer of high quality chocolate which compliment each other superbly. Available in original size with 4 individually wrapped ice creams or in a mini version containing 6. Available at most supermarkets. Higher priced than most ice creams but can often find them on special.
Magnum classic ice creams are one of the best. With the creamiest vanilla ice cream coated with a thin layer of high quality dark chocolate. It has a nice texture with the smooth...

Good
The classic Streets Magnum is a beautiful combination of delicious, melt in your mouth chocolate with a lovely rich ice cream centre. The first thing I loved about the Magnum was the satisfying crunch you get when you first bite into it. The flavour of the chocolate is delicious without being overpowering and the ice cream is so wonderfully rich and creamy. Price wise, Magnums are quite expensive so try and get them on special if you can. If you are looking spoil yourself, you can't go wrong with one of these.
Rich, creamy ice cream. Delicious chocolate coating.
A bit expensive compared to other ice creams
