If I have an accident, what is the process and time frame?

In the event of a claim, make sure your car is safe and secure so it will not be damaged further, this may mean having it towed.

You will also need to get details from anyone else involved, this includes:
-Full name
-Address
-Registration number
-Phone number and
-Driver’s licence number.

You can contact our claims team on 13 13 43 to lodge your claim.

After you have lodged a claim with us, we will assess it. We may ask you for reasonable information and assistance to help with this process. Each claim is assessed on a case by case basis.

do you provide a choice of repairer for car insurance claims

If you need to make a claim and your car needs repairs, we’ll choose a repairer located as close as possible to your home or work from our extensive repairer network.
When you use one of our approved repairers, the repairs are covered by a guarantee, so long as you remain the registered owner.

If you prefer to choose your own repairer, you can arrange for a quote and send it to us. But please note that we reserve the right to determine and arrange for repairs to be carried out by our preferred repairer.

I cannot comment on service as I haven't had a claim but I've just switched from seniors to woolworths car insurance. It also has low kilometre option, a $50 voucher and 10% off a grocery shop once a month. The reviews were ok for them also.

How to opted out of automatic renewals for next year ? I never liked setting up auto renewal, because the price increases every year, higher than other insurers but I can't stop them from automatically withdrawing my funds without my agreement . Can reviewers please give me and honest account of what it is like to lodge a claim in relation to a car accident. I found that my current insurer is wonderful when setting up & making changes to the policy & I would give them 5 stars, but now I have had to claim they are an absolute nightmare to deal with and they would be lucky to get one star at the moment, so I don't want to be conned again.

I just got a quote online & put in all the details including an additional driver also over 50 who has had a no fault claim. Why is it when I disclose her accident for which she was not at fault is it $10 a month dearer than if I'd said no, the accident was not her fault and the other driver admittedly liability & their insurance covered everything?

I recommend talking to someone as the online system is limited to black and white answers where as if you talk to a person they can circumvent this and add notes to their files to explain. I got to a certain point with mine and ended up talking to someone who then was able to work into my circumstance.

Could you please tell me why when you ring 131343 ,you never get a call back after leaving phone no....or anyone other than a recording answers.....this is a ridiculous telephone system......i am so angry i rang 4 times after 15 min.had to hang up ...the last time i rang i waited 35 min. with no one answering my call ...i will never recommend this comp.to anyone ever again .....
