Great picture but too slow for gaming purposes – I recently spotted this unit sitting on it's own in a Good Guys store, they only just received delivery and didn't have enough space to set it up next to the other major brands. I have to say the image quality blew me away! Even the wife thought it was a great picture despite attempts to steer us towards other products. So we bought it, took it home and set it up on the PC which is our prime source of entertainment. Instantly it was apparent this TV was not going to cut it for gaming and made operating the PC alone frustrating, the lag behind moving the mouse and what happened on screen was huge. I did set it to Game mode however it still didn't quite cut it. Reluctantly I returned to the store who were gracious enough to allow me to upgrade to a more expensive Sony KDL-60R550A. It too still had some minor lag but was much better. If you don't plan to game on this TV or care about the smart features etc I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it still, it's good value for money. *Picture quality is sensational for TV/blu ray purposes *Glare is the lowest I've ever seen on a TV *Battery powered 3D glasses are optional at $150 each *Interface is nothing fancy *Couldn't get control over HDMI to work with my Canon camera *Remote control buttons not the easiest to press *My screen seemed a little twisted towards the top right corner
