Brand new.... doesn't work
Bought this microwave a week ago when we moved house & have had nothing but trouble with it.
Half the time it doesn't work even though the timer etc is counting, nothing is actually happening in the oven, no light even.
I thought at first maybe it was user malfunction but I have followed the instructions VERY carefully & it still doesn't work.
Not happy at all.
Cheap and cheerful
Great microwave, very sturdy and easy to clean.Buttons and dial are great and I like the handle as well.Great value for money and looks nice in our kitchen. The microwave isnt any louder than other microwaves I have owned.Cant find a negative about this product.Would recommend this microwave for any family.
Wish I'd picked another one
Wouldn't recommend this machine.
Heats food up well and it's attractive but
Doesn't seem to vent at all so everytime you open the door you get a face full of steam.
Controls are alright, not the easiest bit definitely not thto hardest. But because of th venting issue it is an awful machine which I avoid using.

Works well but rusting away
We have had this appliance for just over 2 years and couldn't fault its performance and ease of use. However we have just discovered that the inside coating has begun to rust, with an area the size of a 5c piece being evident. Our major issue has been with Sharp Customer Service (if you can call it that). We have rang and left messages to be called back, e-mailed and requested a call without response. Finally got to speak to a person Friday. This person showed zero empathy or concern for our issue and on top of that, their english was extremely...poor, making it difficult to understand what they were saying. All we understood was that it was out of warranty - Bad Luck!!! We bought a Sharp as they usually build good quality products and had good user reviews at the time, but after experiencing their "customer service", we will never buy another Sharp appliance - and we still don't know if it is safe to continue using this appliance??
Cheap but functional and looks better in real life than in the pictures online
Meets our needs: easy to use -simple menu. Handle (instead of push button open which I've always disliked). Stainless steel. Decent size turntable. Cheap. Definitely looks better IRL than it does online as well. We really only use or microwave to defrost and reheat leftovers, would suit anyone with similar needs. Overall very happy :)
So far so good
I purchased this on sale from Harvey Norman last month for $170. So far so good. It bakes cookies, grills, and microwaves as it states. I took out the 5 year extended warranty for peace of mind. It does get a little hot on the casing on the top, rear, and left side, but is to be expected when inside is 200+ degrees. For the cost, it is worth trying if you are a newbie to convection microwaves like me.
Questions & Answers
Hi, you said the microwave grills. I can't find that in the manual. Can you confirm it grills as it has good reviews and has good appearance for price?
