Good fridge, runs well
Had this fridge 5 years, bought it off a friend who had had it 10 years before that (and they got it off their mum, who had had it at least 5 more years). Still runs great. Very quiet. The shelves are starting to bust and will need replacing soon, but given the age and the abuse it's had over the years, that's the only complaint.
Thank you Sharp
We bought our Sharp Fridge SJ44F9W in 1992. It died on us yesterday. We had good 23 years with it. Never had the repairman over. An excellent fridge over the years. Never had a problem keeping food cold and freezer kept food frozen. The little fan in the freezer was a little noisy during the night the last few years, but it never kept us awake.
Not Too Bad But Has Flaws If Things Go Wrong
Overall it's actually not a bad fridge but the main shelves and the door shelves got old and brittle and one by one they started cracking and failing altogether. Trying to get replacements shelves is next to impossible. In the end overall it's not bad until it starts to wear a bit, it's enough to make me think twice about buying one in the future.

overall its a pretty good fridge except the parts are way too espensive so not worth replacing parts, you are better off buying another fridge
we have this fridge as our second fridge tat is in the garage, it is pretty good, not real issues just a few minor ones, looks good, easy to clean, fits a good amount of food and drink inside
the only real issue we have had is that 2 of the shelves cracked and when we rang up sharp they wanted about $90 per shelve which is ridiculous if you ask me, so we bought a second fridge instead
