Different lures than what I usually use.
These are relatively new or have been around for the last few years from Shimano, I have not been a fan of their other offerings due to the fact that they looked cheap and not many people used them for that fact.
I got a few of these when my local BCF had them on 25% off all lures and I had to get some - I was getting tired of casting metal and these were something I havent tried before. I purchased two then and another two just recently, they cast well enough however are a little on the light side and dont make for good surf casting on 20lb...braid and a 9" rod (confused)... Anyhow these dart from side to side in a zig zag pattern - they are a sinking lure and do not dive to any predetermined depth at all, the slower you retrieve the deeper they go to a degree. I havent managed to catch anything on them yet however I am finding that the larger lures have these W hooks that just slip onto the rear ring - I think that these will need to be removed and upgraded to a better single hook or a proper treble hook. For what they are they're expensive, so if your wanting to try these out keep in mind that these are nothing more than glorified raider's or halco twisties. Zig Zag swimming pattern, easy to use and cast well enough (straight) Could be made slightly heavier for better casting distance, smaller units dont have rattle but should, price could be a lot cheaper than $21 each.
