No after sales service don't risk it.
I suggest no one buy anything from Shopping Express. If you ever have to return something that is faulty you will lose your money as there is no after sales support. If you have to return faulty items even within 7 days or they are DOA they will not refund you.
Wont buy with them again
Have purchased 3 laptops of this company over the years. Initially very satisfied with everything until there was a problem with one of them. Laptop was still under manufacturer warranty. Jumped through many hoops and answered many questions as per the request of shopping express. Of course you cant telephone them and their only contact method is via email which were ironically answered by "James" to start with but eventually we were met with dead silence (no reply) ever. The warranty has now expired after many months of perseverance.
Don't buy through this company because they do not even back the manufacturers warranty. Steve.
Complete lack of customer service borderline a joke
As many have stated, it all goes fine until you have an issue with your product. Then customer service is completely unresponsive. It takes weeks for "James" to respond to any emails. They have taken their phone number down almost 2 years ago citing "Covid" as an excuse, meanwhile, we are now 100% back to normal. If you do receive a response, it's a half-arsed response that addresses 1/3 of your questions. That tells me they are not even reading the support tickets thouroughly.
I will never purchase from these guys again. This was my 4th large ticket purchase and the way they treat customers is appauling. They need to have a really hard look ar their customer support policies and sort it out, or risk losing a lot more business.

Lost my trust
Used them several times over the years. No problem... only when things go well.
Recently I bought a power supply from them, but only got to installing it after 2 months. It turned out to be defective, and I had to pay the return postage because it was outside of 30 days. They sent me a replacement - this time I tested it immediately and it was defective (again). They paid the return postage and refunded me, but I had to chase them up for my refund.
At this point, their service is rather unprofessional, but ok.
So I bought from them again - a ...
Read morefew expensive items which were split into two deliveries. One was delivered in good time, but the other was acknowledged as lost by Auspost after a month of waiting. I emailed Shopping Express who got a refund from Auspost. Shopping Express agreed in writing to refund me, but they have not. I have sent them multiple emails and all have been ignored. It has now been 5 weeks. They have ghosted me. Now I'm hoping to get the refund through consumer protection or my bank... however long that takes. Shopping Express is dishonest and have lost my trust. Is the cheaper price worth the risk? Maybe if it wasn't so much $ at stake. I definitely won't be buying anything expensive from them in future.Find out how Shopping Express compares to other Electronics & Computing Shops

Failure to provide promised refund
Returned a product to them. They said they'd check it out and if truly faulty would refund the product cost and postage. Took a long while to get product refund, and then over a month for them to respond on the postage cost refund. They said ok, and that the refund was booked to be processed. But over a week later, it's still not through and again they're not responding to emails. NEVER do business with this mob again.

Refused to replace item. Issued refund then told us to rebuy item at $250 higher price.
Bought a TP Link AX6000 wifi router. Item had niggling problems from the start, but after one of the ports went, and a few months later the router stopped working it was time to claim on the manufacturer’s 3 Year warranty. TP Link issued an RMA, and told us to contact the seller. Seller was issued with their own RMA and we have email confirmation going both ways that a replacement item was what we we wanted. Item was shipped (at our expense ($30)) to seller.
With no communication from Shallothead/Shopping Express, a refund was issued. Seller h...
Read moreas stock of this item and is still selling them on Ebay and through their Shopping Express online store. When we contacted the seller we were told to repurchase the item if we wanted a new one. The item is now $250 more expense than when we bought it. At present the manufacturer is pointing at the seller. We will be approaching consumer affairs next. This is a blatant attempt to make an additional $250 off us, not including the postage we had to wear to return the item to them.Related Articles

Very rude customer service including after sales and warranty
Praying for not having any kind of issue after purchasing from them or your nightmare would start. I don't really want to repeat how friendy or rude their staff is, Just remeber there would be a reason that they have such a low price

Worst place to ever go shopping online for Computer parts
Guys, Spoiler Alert on shoppingexpress.com.au. One of the worst online shopping stores for Computer spares i have worked with. I have had an SSD fail on my SkullNUC - which is under warranty. They keep passing the buck around between reps and never provide a response. Send them emails on mail@shoppingexpress.com.au and they claim they never receive our emails. Ask to escalate and they have no other email - just one email which is mail@shoppingexpress.com.au
Absolute disaster working with these guys. I would not recommend them and would advice anyone shopping online for computer or gaming parts to stay clear/away from these guys.

Horrible company/customer service
Bought a misting fan from these guys a while back it stopped working after about a month.
They said at first yes we will send you a new one just discard of the old one.... Well I did and then a week after I did they said they needed it returned to be able to replace it.
Needless to say it was already gone. Even with the proof of the email saying dispose of it they refused to do anything.
Deleted account and moving on.
Crap Customer Service
Our item was faulty but they refuse to refund our postage cost; if the item is faulty we should get a full refund of our costs. More reputable retailers around.

Questions & Answers
I saw a good laptop with a good price, however, I am not sure whether to order from this website, due to the mixed reviews. Could someone tell me whether I should order from this website or not?
James, We are still waiting for our desktops we paid for last week?!. We promised delivery Yesterday/Monday 06/07/2020 and you have not responded to phone calls or emails.
Shocking customer services.
SWCT
How did you go on with this SWCT ? I also have nasty experience with this bot called James. At least the email look like coming from a bot, not a person.
Is there any possibility of any connection, association, affiliation, or common antecedents between Shopping Express and a company called Shoppingsquare?
They appear to operate from the same general area of Sydney, close to the same suburb it seems?
They have similar selling formats, sell the same type of goods, advertise goods "in stock" when the goods are "not in stock". Both engage in heavy "spam" type advertising, and certainly appear to treat customers in the same way.
I am not suggesting that they have any real connection, but because of the unfortunate similarities in location and operating methods, I am just asking if any one has any evidence to suggest that a connection is a possibility.
It would be an unfortunate coincidence if we have two separate, unrelated, on line organisations, marketing the same type of goods and who have evolved at the same time and place, and with the same or very similar attitudes to advertising, delivery and customer support.
