About 2 months ago I was searching everywhere online for a new Gaming Laptop. Didn't really think I could afford anything decent at the time, but to my happy surprise ShoppingEx had the Asus TUF gaming range @the best price Anywhere online (I procrastinated for weeks researching btw) Anyway I ordered with part Zip-Pay & part debit card to make up the difference, another great service. Got my new laptop with-in 10 days (amazing) & it was Perfect! Not one problem & it was exactly what I wanted & needed. Great system- Ryzen7 16gb gtx1650 model bt...w. I cannot fault them so will be ordering a new monitor from them this weekend and will review the outcome ;p Only 1 thing stops this being 5star...I didn't receive the ASUS laptop carry backpack that is supposed to come in the box, was looking forward to that. But good job. C.Russell Albany W.A

Huh, my return was alright
At the risk of sounding like I was paid to write this, my refund went without a hitch. Got a DOA motherboard, sent an email off about getting a refund and was responded to same day. Sent some more info and a pic, got a return label, off it went. Refund about 12 days later. Maybe I was lucky, I don't know.

Good range, prices, products, shipping costs
I've purchased all sorts of things from Shopping Express-- going back to 2014. Each item arrived in decent time, intact, with reasonable shipping charges. Many items have free shipping- so hard to beat that one. Unlike some others posting here, I always got notification when the item shipped. Never have had any issues at all.

Prices are great. Slow to ship, and use Australia's worse courier service
Searched around for what I wanted to buy, and Shopping Express had the best price, by a small margin. If I had known at the time that they'd be using Fastway as their courier, I would have shopped elsewhere. Doesn't matter how good the company itself is, or how good their prices are, your package won't come on time, and may never come again due to the courier company Shopping Express uses.
I'm still waiting on something I ordered 9 days ago (Sydney to Brisbane). Took 5 days to ship, and has been lost now with the courier for 3 days.
The m...arginal savings aren't really worth the risk, from what I can see right now. After reading other reviews, I'm nervous that I'll either never see the products I ordered, or that they'll come broken. Update: Was able to get through to the head office (after failing completely dealing with the courier directly). They escalated the issue, and it was resolved within 24 hours. Total of 13 days to receive goods, and goods were as advertised, as previously stated a slightly better price than competitors. It is possible to elect to ship through Australian Post, thus avoiding issues with the courier service.

Fast delivery, initially was sceptical because of other reviews
Bought PC parts worth $900 from Shopping Express, sent it within 3 days but that's due to Anzac Day happening in that period. They did use Fastway and arrived the day after (I live 3 hours from Sydney) but no one was home so they took it back to their Newcastle warehouse (don't know why they wouldn't drop it at the local post office). Luckily they have a redeliver service and got it on Monday. Shopping express is cheap and their delivery service is fast if you live somewhat near Sydney, let's see how they hold up if I have to return a product or something.
I'd have to include that the pc case box had a bit of damage in it but the case itself was fine. Although both boxes were placed on the side of the front door carefully.

Firstly Unsure after reading reviews, but overall good experience.
I ordered all parts for a PC build and all parts arrived in the next five days with no hassle. After a few months my Hard Drive began to fail so I had it replaced under warranty. Customer support responded quickly and after I confirmed the Serial Number, I had it replaced in the next two weeks.
I would shop again at this business and I was surprised to have such a good experience despite the negative reviews.
Yes I am a real customer...
Unlike other people’s experiences
I bought 5 PC parts totalling $400. The parts were shipped the next day (unlike other people) except they used Fastway Couriers which I know from past experiences are TERRIBLE.
I ordered a motherboard from them because its price was good.
I got what I ordered in fairly good time.
Quick, good to deal with
My experience was very good. Ordered $1600 in of a parts on a Friday, it was a shipped Monday using Oz Post. I called them. Phone was answered quickly, they were professional. Not proactive in communications - a mouse had delayed shipping by 24hrs, which I only found out on the phone.. so maybe ring them if your order status isn't moving. But for me they were cheapest for a lot of my components, and I will use them again, happily

Not perfect, but not too bad
Am a regular customer over a number of years, making multiple purchases annually of an average spend of $650.00 per transaction, I have had few issues with Shopping Express. Generally my order is processed within 3 days and despatched soon after taking about 4 days to arrive in NQ, so about 10 days from when I order is factored in. I can only recall 2 instances where I was dissatisfied with their service, where SE failed to communicate to me delays with their warehousing and it seems email responses usually take more than 24 hours. When I have ...phoned, most times my queries have been promptly answered and actioned. Submitted a DOA 3 weeks ago, with a replacement arriving today - much sooner than I expected. No, the Shopping Express experience is not perfect, but they are often a lot cheaper than their competitors (so I expect a small trade-off, as cheaper often means a lot busier) and from my experience they are not too bad.
faulty hard drives replaced
After writing a review on this site about shopping express, and bringing it to their attention, The matter with the damaged hard drives purchased was resolved whereby new drives were supplied, in place of the damaged drives.
Shopping Express aliases
Have used Shopping Express before and found them very good. Bought a Samsung printer from them last year but then the invoice was from KS Computers in Camperdown. I ordered something else from KS last year but then received the invoice from a company called Shallothead.Today I received an invoice for a WD back up unit from Futu-Online trading as Academic IT Market (cheaper than Shopping Express), but same address as Shopping Express, Unit 6B, 69'Riordan Street, Alexandria. Checked the address and found amongst others there is also Evoke Compute...rs and Kai Seng Computer Solutions all at the same address. So be careful who you are dealing with, myriad of computer companies, myriad of prices but in actual fact, effectively the same company, same warehouse.I've actually visited their warehouse, Chinese staff, in my case quite helpful, and it's not that big but so saying quite happy with their products, prices and service. Just baffled as to who I would go to for warranty if needed?
Reasonable Price, better quality
I ordered 23 inch LG fulld hd LED Monitor, Microsoft Life Cam, Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse Pair and a HDMI cable, prices are very competitive to other online and offline retail stores, shipping was a bit slow took a week to receive my products, and there is no obvious order status information, website needs some improvements especially the checkout process.
- 2 reviews
- 2x Samsung EVO SSDs, 2x 4TB Seagate HDDs
- Good price
- Active presence on Ozbargain
- The HDDs came in a box with the drives one on top of the other inside a sealed anti-static bag then wrapped in bubblewrap. I could see scratch marks on the anti-static bags. Obviously went through a bumpy ride. Expected the worse but so far the drives are holding up (~3weeks). Needs better packaging for future reference... One of the anti-static bags had some kind of weird yellow stain (possibly by having food placed on it) as well.
- HDDs posted via couriersplease (arrived a day after dispatch), SSDs via Auspost eParcel (a day after SSDs arrived).
Overall, good place to shop if you can find the right bargain....Good price and delivery Failed to properly package 4TB HDDs
Good price and good service
I bought an ASUS touch screen all-in-one computer from these guys in late August.
It started out with a lot of promise: the unit was available at a very good price AND, yes, the unit was available for shipment immediately and should reach me by the end of the week. Or so I was told.
Then nothing arrived at the end of the week.
If I had needed this item by the end of the week, then this would have been a major drama. As it was, time was not a critical factor, so I was okay to let this slide. And, to their credit, shoppingexpress.com....au made up for this snafu by delivering on the new deadline and in providing me with an update on my order. Very good price for this item. Missed initial promised delivery date, but this was not a major drama for me.
People seem polarised about these guys but I had a good experience. Delivery within 5 days and product (Samsung Chromebook) was perfectly fine. Awesome to be able to get one of these for 300AUD while Americans are queuing up on Amazon to pay 250USD with the hope of getting one by Christmas. Brilliant as a light duty laptop, and as something more serious if you install linux on it.
One bad thing: promised free postage did not materialise when I got to shopping cart. 5 stars if you refund my 9 bucks, shoppingexpress!
mythical free postage
Went out of their way to help. Very happy.
My story is a little different. I am in New Zealand and found the Samsung Series 9 laptop I wanted a good $1000 cheaper at SE than here in NZ. As my parents were going to Aus for Xmas, I decided to buy it, and a laptop bag, and have it shipped to them to be bought home.
First, Shopping Express don't accept anything other than Australian credit cards. No complaints, it's their business. So I emailed them to ask how I could pay. I didn't get a response so I rang them and I was told to complete the order and opt to pay by wire transfer. I promp...tly went to the bank to wire the cash. I was contacted by SE a few days later to say the transfer was short $25 dollars. It seems that their bank charged an additional processing fee at their end. Not their fault. But it was a bit of nightmare since they only take Aus credit cards. I wasn't going to do a wire transfer for $25. In the end, I told them to drop the laptop bag ($30 worth) and to just process it. They agreed to this and my laptop was away within a day. Delivery seemed to be delayed (it was Xmas time), and I contacted them a couple of times to confirm the item had definitely been sent. All I can say that the 3 people I spoke to during the course of my transaction were very friendly, patient, and did what they could for me. Especially the Accounts team handling the missing $25. I now type this on my shiny new Samsung, which was opened with no surprises. And at an amazing price. I couldn't be happier with the end result.
Laptop and customer service
Purchased a laptop and got it at a great price. When I got it, I asked their customer service department via email on what was the best way to have the battery last longer...got a reply within 24 hours and was very happy with the response. Very good customer service and the price of the laptop was great.
Quick and helpful customer service. Cheap prices on a lot of items
Laptop had a lot of crap pre-installed on it that I felt was not needed Now uninstalling a lot of the programs.
Great Store To Deal With
I had bought windows online once before.. I made the mistake of downloading and buying the key.. so i needed Windows 7 .. I found this place and was sceptical after being burnt once before.. though Shopping Express has restored my faith in shopping online.. They are quick and effecient with proccessing and posting the item.. I got it within a couple of days.. now i can rest knowing i have a valid copy of windows..
The best part is i did not need to contact them to know whats happening with the item.. they contacted me to let me know it was posted..
Quick effecient postage and service... good prices and you dont have to join or become a member to buy from them
Questions & Answers
James, We are still waiting for our desktops we paid for last week?!. We promised delivery Yesterday/Monday 06/07/2020 and you have not responded to phone calls or emails.
Shocking customer services.
Is there any possibility of any connection, association, affiliation, or common antecedents between Shopping Express and a company called Shoppingsquare?
They appear to operate from the same general area of Sydney, close to the same suburb it seems?
They have similar selling formats, sell the same type of goods, advertise goods "in stock" when the goods are "not in stock". Both engage in heavy "spam" type advertising, and certainly appear to treat customers in the same way.
I am not suggesting that they have any real connection, but because of the unfortunate similarities in location and operating methods, I am just asking if any one has any evidence to suggest that a connection is a possibility.
It would be an unfortunate coincidence if we have two separate, unrelated, on line organisations, marketing the same type of goods and who have evolved at the same time and place, and with the same or very similar attitudes to advertising, delivery and customer support.
Don't know about Shopping Square but I have been to Shopping Express premises in Botany Road, Alexandria concerning a non delivery and they are associated with KS Computers at Auburn, Sydney, NSW. I was given the goods by Shopping Express but the invoice said "KS Computers". Recently I ordered some SD cards from KS Computers, and received delivery notification from "Shallothead" and the goods were delivered by Shopping Express. I have bought several items from both companies without any problems.
Interesting that these clowns are associated with KS computers. I ordered a hard drive from KS, thinking that it was in stock. What they actually meant was, it was in stock with their suppliers. Once the suppliers delivered it to them, they would deliver it to me. It toik a lot longer that I had hoped. Both companies are on my naughty list now.
1 - why wont you respond to my emails, calls, posts? (This is not good enough when you sold me a product which does not work)
2 - why would you treat a customer like this?
I sent many emails daily and got respectful responses next day or by 48 hours over the weekends. Why a business should ignore a customer message? Did not happened to me before.
