Promise FREE SHIPPING but charge you anyway
Made purchase of Samsung 960 PRO NVMe M.2 512GB SSD because good price and offered free shipping but they charge shipping anyway. 3 days later they mention in packing slip free shipping voucher which many people would not spot. I can use it next time but not what I signed up for. Never heard further from them on this matter but did get another promo offering free shipping. Can I rely on it.
Shopping Express normally good prices and delivery times but this is annoying.
Zero Customer Support/After Sales Service.
Bought an HP Roar Bluetooth Speaker which was DOA. Returned same with the promise of either a working replacement or refund. That was weeks ago and still waiting. After sales service/customer support is just awful. Communications practically non-existent... every time I wanted an update on the situation I had to initiate contact myself. Each time the same old promises with nothing actually happening. I've now placed the matter in the hands of Consumer Affairs.
Parts arrived in expected time and perfect condition.
Bought around 14 separate parts for a new pc, parts were cheap and all arrived faster than the estimated time. Was worried after reading all the negative reviews but I have no complaints
Everything went smoothly
Highly competitive boxing day prices drew me to this seller. There a many negative reviews out there so I was a tad hesitant, but the order was executed very well. The shipping wasn't lightning fast (6 business days after payment) however was still in line with estimates from the courier so I can't complain, plus this is always a disrupted time of year. Items arrived well packed but not over packed, which is good to see. Overall I am more than satisfied and I would certainly buy from them again.
Concerned after reading reviews, pleasantly surprised
Good prices, prompt dispatch and delivery. Ordered a considerable amount of new pc components, and only after placing the orders and paying via transfer I read reviews and was a bit concerned, but within a few days I had recieved all my orders, packaged very well I will add. Correspondence was good and it was nice to be able to check the order status on shopping express' website. Great experience overall!

Don't be fooled by the marked down prices showing a massive percentage discount. The prices on Epic Hour Sales are marginally better than finding the same product from an Online Retailer.

I have purchased twice from shopping express and in both cases they were fast and accurate with the item. For the last time, I received my item with two working days only and it matched the descriptions 100%
Supper fast... Genuine Products ..
I have purchased 3 items with them. Ones I purchased first item , I had something to clarify.. emailed them and received a response in few minutes.. I thought it was a automated reply. But no.. It was exactly a proper answer given by them with answer to my specific question..
Then received that item in 2 days time.
After that purchased two hard disks (one in morning and other one in the same day afternoon). I got a reply from them on next day morning saying my order was dispatched. ..Both items delivered to my place on same day (Between 20-28 hours after order)

After seeing a few sketchy reviews, I was a little hesitant to buy from Shopping Express but there were also a number of good reviews so I went ahead with my purchase to see for myself.
I ordered late on a Wednesday night and the order was processed and shipped before 11am on the Thursday morning. It was a long weekend coming up so everybody had the Monday off which then meant I received my order on the Tuesday. I was quite happy with a 2 day delivery time and thought that it was quite fast given there was the long weekend in there to conten...d with too. I also noted that there had been issues with fake Samsung EVO Micros SD cards being sold on the market from some suppliers. As this was one of the items that I purchased I wanted to make sure that the SD card I received was in fact genuine. After a quick google of how to tell the difference, I was quite happy that I had received a genuine product. This then concluded the successful purchase from Shopping Express. :-)

Order at 11:13 am, paid via PayPal, and order fill and pick up at 3:46 PM same day by Fastway couriers. The pricing on the Intel 535 Series 480GB SATA SSD hard was very competitive - cheaper than the anything else I found on the pricing website.

Fast service, with no problems
There are some negative reviews of Shopping Express on this page but I received fast service with no problems.
I bought a ASUS laptop. It came in an unopened ASUS box, it was exactly the model I ordered ( I checked using Settings), and was delivered to my home address in 2 working days. (They didn't have free shipping - but like a 'free lunch" there is no such thing as free shipping.)
The promised FREE SHIPPING did not happen
I bought my first item from Shopping Express, a Micro SD card. Over Xmas there was a promo offering free shipping. When I checked out the shipping cost wasn't set to $0. I went through with the transaction, given there was no one in their office until 11/01/16, then emailed them, thinking they could refund that portion. Waited weeks for a response, then was told they won't refund the shipping cost - you can only get a store credit. I did get the product in a reasonable timeframe but won't use them again.
Cheap prices when on sale
I regularly buy from Shopping Express.
They often have good specials and promotions.
Their prices are often equal to or less than MSY, especially during sales.
Also look out for their free shipping promotions.

Great Product with a Defect - Slow Warranty Process - If Any
OK so I thought I'd take a chance on a small laptop from Toshiba at a great price from Shopping Express ("SE"). It was delivered after Easter so I cannot say how timely the delivery was as it traversed the country and 2 public holidays.
However; Australia Post Tracking goes from "picked up from sender" to "Delivered" with no other info for 9 days - Whats the point of that.
Anyway laptop arrived well packed and on opening seemed fine. I installed all the software I wanted and started work. I was only then using MSWord (with a white scree...n) that I found a small scratch (on the inside/underside of the glass) on the glass screen. I contacted SE and a obviously overworked man asked me to send images of the defect and the packaging to ensure it was not damaged in transit - so the claim could be submitted to the claims team. That was two weeks ago. In the mean time I have decided I can live with the defect as my need for the laptop is greater than the need to have it perfect. It has a 3 year warranty (Manufacturer) so I may leave it for now as it is documented in images and emails. Suffice to say if i need to have it fixed I will lose everything I had done and possibly have no laptop for 2 - 3 weeks. What has this experience told me ? SE are fine if there are no defects otherwise the returns process is not as slick as the sales process. Don't gamble a large purchase, especially it it was for business purposes.
Bought a printer through eBay two week before Xmas.
For some reason (the lazy and lack of intelligence) Australian Post refused to deliver and send a card for pick up. It took me more than 1 month to sought out with Auspost and the item was returned to
Within 24 hours after the item been returned, vendor refunded in full.

So my first order with this online store was made on the boxing day sale. Just a small item to test the waters, a $14 microsd card with free shipping, I received that in 3 days... excellent.
Order number 2 : January 4th 2015, several SanDisk usb drives, all in stock and all to be dispatched between 1-2 days of payment. January 9th 2015, status? Still in PICK.
I just really hate it when stores have an item displayed as IN STOCK when they obviously don't. Sometimes you require items before a certain date, and would rather pay that little e...xtra for reliable service. Not going to bother emailing shoppingexpress about my order after reading all these reviews on how they jerk you around and make up excuses instead of just owning up to the fact that they had no stock, don't blame your suppliers shoppingexpress. Its bad business practice to take peoples money first then call your suppliers requesting stock. Not to mention the 5 star reviews are obviously fakes, no one gives 5 stars after their first purchase but funny enough all the 5 star reviews seem to be first time buyers...... very suspect.
Overcharged & no response to calls, emails or ticket submission.
Purchased $700 worth of parts on Boxing Day. Free postage was advertised but i was charged $9.95 (and discounted $0.13 for some reason??). Postage on or before the 5th of January was advertised but the order is still in "pick" status. I have tried contacting the company by phone (called 20 times in a row this morning with no answer), email AND ticket submission on their resolution centre page but have had no reply what so ever. This company is useless. I will be getting my items eventually (or a full refund) if its the last thing i do. These gu...ys do business in Australia and are therefore subject to its laws (which i intend to utilize if i have to). UPDATE: Finally received a reply by email. I recommend this form of communication for anyone having the same issue. I was told that my item had not yet arrived at the warehouse, hence why it hadn't been shipped yet. You shouldn't sell items that you don't have in stock (or if you do, tell the customer it's out of stock before they buy it). I might actually get my items soon but i'm still very dissatisfied with the service i've received.
Terrible customer service.
I ordered a monitor from them on the 29th of December. The transaction went through on the 30th, and was marked as paid. I sent a three inquiries regarding the order, and received a response to none of them. I understand that their customer service and dispatch times are limited over the Christmas holiday, but seriously, how hard is it to reply to an email? One week later and I still hadn't heard anything from them, so I decided to call them. After talking to someone on the phone I am receiving a full refund. Prices are good, service is poor. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
Was Perfect but now my faith is dwindling
With all the recent boxing day sales i thought it would be a great idea to buy a new graphics card so i thought it would be a great idea to choose one of my trusted sites to deal with this valuable purchase order so i chose shopping express, had great service with them in the past with buying my hard drives and other things so it wasn't even that hard to think about, so boxing day sales came, bought myself a gtx 970 and a new PSU and still to my dismay it hasn't shipped, at this point it will be my birthday (jan 17) before i get it and i really...want to start work on my new rig, so a few days ago i contacted them via there email service because there resolution button was broken (go figure) and i've given them time to reply but there still taking there sweet time to get back to me. Look i'm not completely insensitive to what time of year it is and how many orders there must be but if i ordered express shipping and even i don't have my package yet. like what are you guys up to, i just want some contact.
Excellent processing response
I wanted to order a router online so looked at the reviews for the businesses with the cheaper prices and bypassed a few of them. Saw the mixed reviews for Shopping Express but was impressed with the responses from the company to address problems encountered. Ordered the router Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered at 9am Friday in Canberra. And it wasn't even courier or express post.

Worst customer service EVER!
Ordered two items from this place as a test order for future consideration as I build computer systems locally. First Item was a computer case, with which I had no problem. Order dispatched on time at reasonable price. Second item in the order was a power supply which was DOA. As soon as I switched it on, it exploded.
I followed their instructions and opened a dispute on July 3, expecting a response within 24 hours. On July 7 I was asked for the serial number of the unit.I received an email on the 8th suggesting a credit would be arranged so...I could re-order "to save delay". What they did not explain was that I would need to pay for the item, and then wait for the refund. On July 9 I finally received a mailing label to return the unit. On July 14 I spoke with James via telephone requesting that a new unit be sent so I could complete the computer build. He told me "it was just a power supply" and that I was making too much of a fuss. He was very rude with me at the time. The power supply cost a total of $281 with shipping, an amount which James said I should pay again if I wanted the replacement. It is now July 16 and I am still trying to find out when a replacement will be sent. The original order was placed on June 20, so it has now been almost a full month, and I have no idea when the unit will be replaced. If you can be certain that you will not require any customer service, then maybe the risk is worth it, but if you need to replace an item, then there are far better options available. In future I will happily pay a slightly higher price elsewhere, than to take the risk of this place again. worst customer service possible
