No Warranty at all

I bought a product says AU Warranty but when I had one issue with the product they ask me to contact with the manufacture rather than them.


Avoid this seller no matter what

I bought Galaxy S8 from them without knowing that there's a very small note at the bottom of the page saying that the seal might be opened for random checking. So I immediately send them message to cancel my order if I cannot get a brand new sealed phone before the item is dispatched. I just can't justify their reason to open the package, why would they need to check inside the package. However, they agree that they will give me a brand new sealed phone, so the order process was continued. After 2 weeks, the phone arrived, I opened the package just to see that the seal is already broken not only that there are lots of fingerprints on the device as well.

I immediately open a return request with Ebay. After going back and forth with them because they want to proceed the return request with them directly and I decline their request as Ebay is the only protection I have for my condition. They finally agree for me to return the item, but they insist that I have to pay for the return postage myself. They keep blaming me that the item is as description. Currently, I try to forward the case to Ebay.

Please just avoid this seller at any cost, it's not worth the saving.


Spend wisely if you are thinking of buying something that will cost $$$$$.

Bought a Samsung EVO Plus 64GB microSD Memory Card from their ebay website on 18 Sept 2017 and item did not arrive for more than 3 weeks. Submitted a complain & they replied that:

"In general delivery can take up to 2-5 working days after dispatch. However, in some cases, there could be a slight delay in handling and delivery by local post. We kindly suggest if you can please wait for few more working days for delivery. Please be assured we will provide you with a solution in case if the item still does not arrive by then"

I waited for a few more days and there was nothing happening. I even sent another message on 2nd Oct 2017 & 4th Oct 2017 to them in regards about my query and problem but there was no reply until I made an ebay report on 5th Oct 2017. Now they replied with this message:

"Please be assured it is not necessary to contact eBay because you can directly contact us and we will resolve the matter asap." (No solution from them until you make an ebay report)

"We found that you opened an eBay non receipt for your order of Samsung EVO Plus 64GB microSD. We can confirm that this has been dispatched on 18/09/2017 by Au post standard mail. the delivery address is as follows"

Now waiting for solution or ebay will respond.

Please choose your seller wisely if you are buying really expensive stuff. I do not want other consumer to be victims like me when troubles come. (FYI I am a return buyer. So if problems occur, customer service is bad)

13/11/2017: The item came finally in October. They refunded me after complaining to ebay but due to the item came to me, I paid for it. No doubt they have one of the most competitive pricing in the market at the moment but risk need to be taken (slow, lost, broken & etc) if you choose to buy. That is why ebay is good!

November 26th 2017 Update: Not always bad. I am impress totally. Sometimes if you want reasonable price then patient is virtue.

Bought a Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal for Smartphones AU Warranty. This is my 3rd purchase from them. I did experience before some backlash in terms of time frame and reply from customer service but at least they do reply (Professional!). This particular purchase the Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal was impressive! It came in time and quality wise is good though its direct from China with Chinese manual. I am not very worried about it as the seller stated very clearly that they will be the warranty for Australia buyer (If ever problem occurs and no customer service, you are going to loose business). Overall I would say you can't get everything perfect if you want a reasonable and affordable purchase price. Very impress & looking forward to buy again for sure.

p/s: Please don't disappoint me in the near future purchase & thanks.

Fake Non Australian Warranty SD Cards

I recently purchased an SD Card only for it to arrive in a Chinese Package and with different Speed Specifications on the package compared to what was advertised on their ad.
Testing the SD Card resulted in speeds nowhere near either rated speeds and following up with Samsung, Australian Warranty is only for Items for the Australian Market.
They are near impossible to get a reply that makes any sense.
So Beware and Good Luck if you do make a purchase with Shopping Square.


BEWARE. They are scammers.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 from them, the phone screen display was faulty so I returned it to be repaired under warranty. It has been 2+ months and I have sent countless emails to them asking about the whereabouts of my phone and for them to please send it back. I have also been in contact with EBay itself to try and receive a response. I am still yet to receive a reply.

I am seriously considering suing them and would appreciate any advice on how to do this.

EDIT: They did eventually return the phone 6 months later with a new screen, however in the process the button had a scratch on it that there wasn't before.
I had lost hope of it being returned at all and by then had a new phone so the lack of contact was very annoying.


Dodgy Compay with Dodgy products

I made a purchase in Early June 2017 it stated it would take 14 days delivery I made contact with them after 21 days and they changed the delivery to 4-6 weeks. The item arrived just short of 6 weeks but did not work. The communication with them was the slowest and they gave me a return address to send it to. It was sent from the ACT to Sydney on the 26th July and as of the 08 of August it has not arrived but when it arrives it will take 20 days to inspect it and if it is faulty another 4-6 weeks to deliver it. That makes it October, 5 months to deliver a small wrist watch.


First order didn't arrive. Replacement was wrong item. They followed up and delivered.

After eight weeks I sent an enquiry. Shopping Square were helpful and reasonably swift in offering a replacement. However a week later a completely different item arrived. Generic bluetooth headphones instead of a power bank.

However, after taking a photo and sending it through, they swiftly apologised, created ANOTHER delivery for me, and said I could keep the headphones. Mix up at the warehouse. They requested shipping number to follow up with the customer who ordered the headphones.

The final order was correct and arrived swiftly. So they did try quite hard to deliver good service, and were willing to lose profit to do so.


Didn't receive the item - more than 3 months to date

I made an online purchase on the 15/04/17 (3 months plus ago) and goods haven't arrived. To be generous, waited up to 4 weeks given the product comes from overseas.

1st contact 19/05/17, asking where it was.
- reply 20/05/17; We can confirm that your order has been well dispatched on 22/04/2017 by Standard Air Mail. It was requested to be sent to the following address:

2nd Contact 14/06/17 (be bit more generous - 2 months now) nothing, requested a consignment note.
- reply 15/06/17; provided electronic consignment note, generic message saying

"Please be advised that we have received an advise from our courier that they have encountered delays in processing of our parcels. We kindly request you to provide few more working days to see if the order will turn up.

If in case you still did not receive the items by early next week please simply reply us back and we will proceed with Missing in Transit case accordingly.

3rd Contact 29/06/17 (decided to give it another 3 weeks; just to see if the product might decide to rock up and if they were going to make any contact with the courier or at least re-organise something. They had 2 weeks since my last reply. Nothing.
- reply 30/06/17; "Could you please confirm if the following delivery address to where the order was sent is
correct and we will then follow up accordingly. " "Our apologies for any inconvenience caused"

Used to Like this Site, now they are Dodgy

Purchased a Car Jump Starter, it only came with a Car Charger to charge it, even though in the case there is a shaped hole for a Wall Charger, " also the same item is shown on other sites with the wall charger ", I contacted them and was told it only comes with a Car charger, which makes the item Virtually unusable as it needs 3 to 6 hours to charge by a wall charger which will take even longer by a car charger.

Asked to send it back and get a refund under there 30 day policy as it is not usable in its sold state.

Was told it has been passed onto the relevant team.

That was 8 days ago, not a word from them, I don't expect to get a reply either by now, I used to buy quite a bit from them a few years ago, they seem to have changed from a reliable good company to a not so good company.

I even went out and purchased a $30 wall Charger to match the specs on there web page 5volt @ 1amp, then find out in the manual it is a 15volt @1amp charger that is supposed to be in the case.

Update: 30 minutes before this Review went live, I get a reply from Shopping Square "Coincidence ? ".

I was offered a return, but after being told off for purchasing the item if it did not have the Wall Charger by the Person replying.
1/ This item is sold as a Kit, other sites that sell it have the Wall Charger in it.
2/ there is a shaped hole in the kit for the wall charger.
3/ The charger must have been removed for a reason , Safety/not meeting Australian Standards ?

So for being chastised , Shopping Square has now lost a Customer that has shopped there for 9 years, great Service there tell your Customers off, gets great results for your Business.

I sent my phone back to them to be repaired under warranty. From the day they confirmed that they had the phone until now has been 2 months 2 weeks and still waiting. Sent them message and got no respond.


Didn't receive the item -- Waiting almost 4 weeks, nothing come up!!!

Purchase a bluetooth handset on their website over 3 weeks ago, nothing come up until now -- even I sent messages and disputed on Paypal, they didn't reply!! It's not worth to buy any products from this seller or you could waste you priceless time and hard to get the money back.


Scammers - False Advertising ordered an Unlocked iphone on ebay - International Item Came - Locked

Purchased on Ebay Paid over $1500 for a New in Package iPhone.
Australian model shown in Photos - no mention of overseas phone.
Package comes it is a UK model with a UK Plug, a cheapie $2 black usb Aussie wall charger wash thrown in box. I thought it was suss so I rang Apple game them the IMEI number and they confirmed this is a locked overseas phone and useless, when I contacted the seller on ebay through resolution center asking for a refund they offered 0.01c refund and urged me to cancel the complaint and use their internal processes - Big scammers - time wasters.

I originally went online shopping at Shopping square as the link was Australian. I was thinking that the items were well below cost price so was attracted to this site. After receiving several items from shopping square that I pre-ordered I found that they were staggered in delivery and they all came from outside of Australia, mostly China, in broken crushed boxes barely held together by their packaging. The goods are not of a superior quality being mostly cheaply made, inferior plastics. Devices that speak inferior 'German/English' and no instructions with the device on how to use it. Two for one offer where I only receive one item! Customer service is quick to answer but unhelpful as a final result leaving me with a product I'm unable to use because of the non-standard sized batteries... which by the way I can order on eBay for an addition $20 odd dollars... ahh. Best to use eBay to buy any of these things you're thinking of buying, you would probably receive free postage too. Shopping square charge postage on each item you order. I think I have made my final shop from this site.

Phone description said it was a G930F. Got sent a G930V

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 Phone, G930F. Recieved a G930V despite it saying G930F twice in the product description. Disgusting.

Far from perfect.

Mislead me about delivery times and items location. Not Australia, China. Five weeks late and scripted responses from the staff. Amazon Australia will change this mobs business model.

Update: Eight weeks and refunded via Paypal claim.

Please dont hold your breath with delivery ,many weeks to arrive, but it will turn up.
It is a genuine Sandisk extreme ,the enclosed rescue disk software was registered without issue.

never received the item

ShoppingSquare is a BAD BAD BAD Liar, fraud. It was my mistake for not checking product review prior purchasing from Shopping square. Their business practice is so shonky. i waited for 4 weeks and raised support case in their web site. all i get is scripted email saying please wait and we are trying the best we can, blah blah crap. It goes on and on. I asked to refund the money but they send me scripted email again. now in 8 weeks, I am still not getting refund or no response. Never ever buy from this seller. Whoever making good comments are themselves putting good comments. Be very ware.


Terrible - wish I could leave zero stars

Have been a shopper for many years, many transactions - they have always been slow to deliver , but in 2017 they have gone beyond abysmal.
Out of the last 5 transactions only one oreder has actually arrived - have wasted time getting refunds from Paypal - have given them 6 weeks after their stated dispatch date before I launch proceedings - still no products.
Dont waste your time with Shopping Square - they simply dont deliver anymore.

Finally tempted enough by a Shopping Square special to try them again. Paid money, eventually received email telling me product had been shipped. Around a month, yes A MONTH later Shopping Square returned my money - without me even disputing it this time. So in my experience their emails re product being shipped seem to be false way more often than not. Cant believe I fell for them again. Please don't waste your time with this bunch unless you are a fan of disappointment, spending ages writing disputes on Paypal and lending your money to someone at zero interest rates

Can anyone confirm that they have actually received their goods from shopping square? Or is this just a total scam, have been waiting almost three weeks for my order, wondering if i should wait or just lodge a complaint with fair trading. Currently on maternity leave so i have plenty of time to chase this up!

I gave them the benefit of the doubt again and again, they kept on playing me. Promised me if I withdraw my PayPal complaint, money owned to me will be reimbursed immediately - I gave them weeks to return my money?!? The item involved was the latest GoPro. Fact is they got interest on my money that they had for a couple of months. Interest on money received from thousands of customers waiting in good faith, can earn them loads. In my PayPal complaint I stated this. Can not praise PayPal enough, only use them for all my internet purchases. Their excuse time and again was that shipments to their warehouse was delayed and thus they repeatedly offered other models. Move on immediately! They lure you with the cheapest prices and then cash in on the interest while you wait and wait and wait. Lesson learned from this experience - always read reviews on companies before I buy. Do not let them get away with it. I was on the verge of cutting my losses just to move on.I received my delivery after waiting 23 days so you should have some confidence it will arrive eventually. You can login to the website, go to My Account -> Create a Ticket. Ask for a delivery status update in the ticket. I did receive responses to the 2 tickets I logged. You should have received an email saying the order has been dispatched. After that email it could take 4 or 5 weeks. I won't ever buy from Shopping Square again.Thank you i have received an email saying it has been posted, i guess i will have to wait and see. Really should have read the reviews first, lesson learnt!
