I had not seen these reviews for some reason and am also now having to take legal action as I also paid my upfront fees and then got ghosted. Happy to be involved in any lawsuits which might involve other parties but not sure how to make contact as unwilling to post my contact details here.
I wrote a previous review hoping that this gentleman would change his ways. Unfortunately, it is now apparent he is a scammer (and I hate using that allegation). His modus operandi is that he comes in all smooth and friendly, he has the gift of the gab, does a 'preliminary', hits you up for the rest and disappears. We have had contact from people who have given him $'000's uyet he still goes on. SA Consumer Commission will seemingly do nothing, so the only recovery way is through small claims/magistrates court.
I have previously reviewed this business and note that this company is now for deregistration which suggests that Andrew will be setting up somewhere else. As he has property in Sth Aust it would be reasonable to expect it to be here. There are further reports that he has been directly approached about money owed and has made inuendo physical threats. Looks as though his full name is [Name Removed], find some details on [Content Removed] cancelled that ABN on 11/10/2024 had newpaper articles like this [Content Removed]
Asked payment upfront, seemed legitimate and nice to you, then ghosted. He’s notorious for this behaviour, and with many other companies, complained to business affairs, taking him to court. Officially complain to Planning SA. He needs to be stopped.
Follow-up · I received payment in full from [Name Removed] one day before our scheduled court date. He finally emailed me back and has been resolved. No apology, nothing else mentioned just said he’ll pay it to avoid going to court.

[Name Removed] from Simple Consultancy responded to a question I had on a Tiny Home Facebook page regarding my tiny home council approval. [Name Removed] said he could help me get approval. Took my $4360 and ran. [Name Removed] was supposed to lodge development application with council over a month ago. Rang council yesterday no application lodged. Broken promises. They take your money then ghost you. There is no communication or transparency in process. Save yourself the stress. heartache , broken promises and thousands of dollars
Since submitting this review there's over 20 victims Australia wide that have come out of the woodwork. About 5 I know are taking legal action. Simple Consultancy is going to be very busy attending court cases.
