Very happy with how my first home was built, outstanding quality!
My supervisor Matt was extremely helpful & made the build go as smooth as possible with no hiccups on the way, everything I asked for or wanted different he made work.
Highly recommend SJD will definitely be building with them again & requesting Matt as supervisor.

Unfortunately, we’ve been extremely disappointed with the entire build process and end result. SJD Homes had such a good reputation and that was one of the many reasons we decided to build with them but it doesn’t seem to be that way anymore and it clearly shows in the poor quality workmanship and the lack of communication and site supervision.

Built our first house with sjd and extremely happy with the build quality & finish. Color Selection experience was amazing as lot to choose from standard range. Even upgrades were at affordable price. Despite lockdown delays and material shortages our whole build process was very smooth. Huge thanks to Rachel and kyle. Will build with SJD again. Display homes are beautiful, don’t expect to get what you see and think you’ll be buying that.

Contract states: owner shall not instruct or guide contractors from builder.
Several trades people been contacting us directly because they were given my number by the site manager because they couldn’t figure out what was happening.

Damages during build were not replaced but fixed, so why is the builder insured during a build?
Master bedroom window got damaged during install and is now fixed but dents and scratches still visible, spacers used to keep the awning window in position....

Everything was great. From customer service to quality of build to follow ups.
Always easy to get hold of. Final cost was accurate. We are very happy with the new house. Really bloody looking forward to our next build Go the Bombers

We are so happy with the finished product! The attention to detail and finish is excellent! Very helpful team who were there right throughout the process. Our Supervisor was awesome and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. We are so happy with our new home. This was our second home with SJD and we would happily build with them again! Received my keys a few days ago, and am so excited to move in! I have been well supported by SJD throughout the entire process, from picking the floor plan and adding features to make the house my own, through to construction. Very happy with the work of my site manager, Matt, keeping in regular communication with updates as well as delays or changes that effected my build during lockdown. If someone asked us what we thought of our build, I would smile and I’d only have positive words, as from start to finish the team were helpful, kind, supportive, honest and the build felt smooth (even with the lockdowns and supply shortages).

From the moment we stepped into the Caversham display, we knew that this was the home we wanted to build, and the whole team at SJD Homes made the process so much easier.
From the administration side of things, Rosie was absolutely amazing! She kept in contact and updated us as much as possible.
